I did a dex build on my first playthrough and whenever I play now I go for unga bunga str weapons. I love the watchdog staff. I unga therefore I bunga.
Ruins greatsword is a hell of a lot of fun. My first playthrough I was using Bloodhound's Fang (didn't we all lol), and I wasn't a huge fan of the move set. When I picked up the Ruins Greatsword and gave the AoW a try I remember cackling like a mad woman. You feel like a giga chad lining mobs up and mowing them down with a single L2, and you can score multiple hits on large bosses if you line it up right. If you're a strength build struggling in the Haligtree, that sword will save you a world of grief: it's very good for knocking mobs off of branches and platforms, and for making use of choke points. And it's also great for breaking enemy guard when they're using a shield. In NG+ you can break through the 99 cap by two-handing, and dumping points into int will add (some) magic damage and open up access to spells. Overall, it's just a solid weapon.
Yeah Ruins Greatsword was the first weapon I tried that just felt 'right'. Also was nice cuz I got stuck on the bosses that drop it for a while so it felt very earned to use! Ended up going with it for most of my first playthrough.
I like that you actually use starting character besides just using the wretch for every build it makes the play through more interesting and also more relatable for most ppl first playthroughs
I'm fighting for my life whenever I get to Maliketh. Desperately trying to avoid all his moves. Then I watch you just walk around him like he is not even there. You're too good Gino 😭😂
Holy shit I literally thought to myself like 3 days ago, ”I wish there was a strength version of this series,” and then you post this a couple days later! So sick!
Gino was the first Elden Ring player I watched on UA-cam. After watching many others, I honestly think Gino is the best at this game as far as I can tell. This dude is a beast.
@ginomachino you should leave a pinned comment of your regional to do lists for these build videos. That would be dope so people could take similar approaches.
Gino: This is why you don’t run to the side on the fire breath attack, you should run between the legs instead it’s much safer. Also Gino: *runs to the side and takes no damage, then runs between the legs and dies instantly*
Loving these runs man, thoroughly entertaining. After doing these like one stat or one weapon type runs have you thought of doing runs that are more thematic, or allow for a bit wider build and weapon variety, while still having some restrictions that make it challenging? I feel like combining the expertise on various weapons and strategies you've gathered after all this playtime would be really cool to see.
Oh im wearing the shame hat , i was watching your content and wasnt subscribed (anymore).... i was subbed but idk why it unsubbed from some channels . But im off the scrub train lmao and im all re subbed . Awsome content my friend . Idk if u have made yet , but i would love to see a one stop video , for all skips and boss cheeses and just a boss by boss tip list . Ive started trying to speed run and no hit run souls games and the one thing i have yet to find is a mega thread or video on a , here is the skip list. And even a general list of what atm is agreed upon as fastest run routes . I know its a ton for 1 video could maybe be broken up into a few . And lmao im sure im gonna go look and see u already have em lmao . But it would be cool to see the blue print to help players get into it.
I deadass loved using the grafted great sword. The grafted greatsword (I call it the GOT Sword) looked so cool and does just an absurd amount of damage. I
I like to imagine Maliketh saying "I will not have it stolen from me again." is not referring to the Black Knife Assasins, but every other challenge run up to this point where he gets his ass whooped-
1:11:16 i think the ash of war is as good as it feels because of the weapon size and how it is a heavy hitter. If it was on something like a short sword or dagger or something small and not heavy hitting, i bet it would suck pretty bad
From what I remember, the Eclipse Shotel is pretty good in pvp if you run two of em and manage to buff up. The weapon art locks the character's movement for a while tho, so a lot of people will just swing on you lol. Oroboro made a build on em near the beginning of the game's lifecycle, so idk if they were touched in the patch history
I actually have never played ER but i love watching videos on it, especially your channel because i find a lot of the other ones annoying 😂 cheers for the videos 👍
I'm ready for the all support build. Uses spirits of all types, I enjoy Great shield soldiers. Golden vow, erdtree blessing, Various buffs, rally standard, icon shield, deathbed dress, royal remains in other slots, mohgs rune, old lord talisman, erdtree +2, dragoncrest greatshield, ritual shield. A fun weapon for this build could be great stars, for any non summon places.
My buddy and I found that if you have 1 person (and mimic) running 2 colossal weapons and jump attacking, and another running phantom slash with mimic, the amount of attacks per second perma stun Melania to the point she cannot leave the ground. The most hilarious fight I have ever done in elden ring and I will never do anything else to kill her anymore lol.
Once I found out that the only merchant who has any relevance as far as quests or anything else goes is Kalé, I just kill them all. The massive convenience gain of having all the vendor stocks in the game at Roundtable is wild
He should do a Ratatouille challenge where he is controlling one of his friend who hasn’t played Elden rings movements and basically his friend only listens to his commands

-Gino again probably
i saw a video where a dude killed morgott and then backed out and killed him again
Best part of this run is the "Get bricked and butt slam Renala"😂😂😂
youre beautiful gino
You too bb
He Looks hot ik
Ayo😂
Very
This is true
Nothing else to say
Strength only ER playthrough is the definition of "are you threatening me with a good time?". Being glass cannon has never been so fun.
I have a Strength only character as well. He uses the Prelate's Hammer and is bright red so I named him the Crimson Chin.
My favorite part of these vids is seeing my own chat message in it lmao

We know, Gino... we know...
babe wake up, new gino masterpiece just dropped
Gino: Surely this will not become a fire gigant 2h montage
Me, seeing that he reached fire gigant and there's still half of the segment on the video:
IT HATH ARRIVED!
THE BONKENING COMETH!!!
1:56:14 ngl that james bond ahh shot cracked me up
This is like seeing a whole Cameo for me man. Give that boy Dogo a Grammy for the best acting I've ever seen 4:23
Keep it up man. Just recently got into the game but pretty much found you right away, and love all your stuff
Love your videos and every time I watch through your videos for example the master run I am just impressed. Keep going.
8:40 Grandpa Margie forgot what he was attacking for
He turned into an erdtree burial watchdog.
Holy shit I literally thought to myself like 3 days ago, ”I wish there was a strength version of this series,” and then you post this a couple days later! So sick!
2-4 hour videos that are ALWAYS a banger
God these videos are so relaxing and chill to watch thank you man
“Oh she likes it dude” is a wild thing to say
Whoever edits these videos is a pro.
Gino was the first Elden Ring player I watched on UA-cam. After watching many others, I honestly think Gino is the best at this game as far as I can tell. This dude is a beast.
I genuinly love the confidence he has in the play through, more than most cause you can tell just how much he loves strength builds, I love it
That Godrick fight was ridiculous 😂
The most satisfying part of using colossal weapons is saying “bonk” each time you hit something
@ginomachino you should leave a pinned comment of your regional to do lists for these build videos. That would be dope so people could take similar approaches.
FYI i've begun creating my own
16:11 the rust status effect would be lockjaw and turn off the bosses dialogue for the rest of the fight
bro did you know with the great club. You can put black flame on it and then every hit with Golden Land will proc black flame :)
For real?
@@kiwialforde9913 really :)
shhh dont let from hear this
Gino: This is why you don’t run to the side on the fire breath attack, you should run between the legs instead it’s much safer.
Also Gino: *runs to the side and takes no damage, then runs between the legs and dies instantly*
(almost) every boss: I have killed hundreds before you how else could this be different
Gino: hehe BONK
Gino making this game look like you can change to easy mood. Gino really is the goat
Bro your Ideas for UA-cam Should be A national Treasure❤
Loving these runs man, thoroughly entertaining. After doing these like one stat or one weapon type runs have you thought of doing runs that are more thematic, or allow for a bit wider build and weapon variety, while still having some restrictions that make it challenging? I feel like combining the expertise on various weapons and strategies you've gathered after all this playtime would be really cool to see.
As a STR enjoyer, I had big expectations for this run and I'm not disappointed 😂
Absolute legend. I love every video you drop. I just dont have time during normal stream times so I love the long content
Between you, Tulok, Cloud, and Bushy, you guys are my favorite eldentubers
I'm subscribed but don't watch the videos to balance out those pesky non subscribed viewers 👍
Thank you, watched it for you it's good

Why aren't you inside a ROBOT?
Can't wait for the vigor only run.
Man I’ve learned so much from these runs
so all of those explosive barrels actually have an image of a wine bottle on top of them
wouldn't be a gino video without the most horrendous takes on soulsgames. love it
it's objectively wrong to call an opinion horrendous
But it would be cool to see the blue print to help players get into it.
i love the anchor. my first DLC playthrough was starfist for all bosses + anchor for consort.
I’m so happy I already pre ordered the new dlc I can’t wait to play. I love your content Gino keep up the good work
gino I swear on my life you are the reason I am able to play this game still. you make it look so fun every time you post.
I deadass loved using the grafted great sword. The grafted greatsword (I call it the GOT Sword) looked so cool and does just an absurd amount of damage. I
I love region-locked runs. This brings diversity and flavour to the playthrough. Thanks
The fight against the Scion at the start was the cleanest fight i have ever seen
You should make a guide on the location of all the somber smithing stones, because all the other ones are outdated

I love the fact that every time he fights Rykard he has something new to say about how bad he is
I like to imagine Maliketh saying "I will not have it stolen from me again." is not referring to the Black Knife Assasins, but every other challenge run up to this point where he gets his ass whooped-
Congrats on the success Gino, you’ve earned every bit of it man!
Hey Gino, love your content. Have you ever thought about doing a run by only using "spirit ashes?"
Even lvl 10 spirit ashes wouldn't be able to kill most of the bosses is the issue
How u can have actual have commentary while playing elden ring is a real talent
I've been waiting for this one since you announced it! Time to bonk
The misbegotten pulled a “cool move, mind if I use it?”
New gino video always means a good night
Faith/INT users: _taking 3 business days to cast a spell_
STR users, mid-jump: "Admirable little spells, funny magic man."
i love watching him play a regular strength playthru
9:55 holy fuck this cracked me tf up 😭😭😭 he was just getting clobbered

Wine is stored in the balls
I think that's blood
Imagine being one of the most powerful being in the lands just to get dunked on by some near naked lunatic holding a anchor and big axe
1:11:16 i think the ash of war is as good as it feels because of the weapon size and how it is a heavy hitter. If it was on something like a short sword or dagger or something small and not heavy hitting, i bet it would suck pretty bad
The stomp sweep was my favorite on the Cathedral Knight greatsword
“That does a lot of damage”. Who knew hitting someone in the head with a hammer hurt 25:39
I learn new things about Fromsoft games everytime I watch this.
I did not know Yhorm was immune to fire
"mAGiC iS OVerPoWereD" 😆 Strength User in Elden Ring.
"It can be so bad right?' I put my cursor on mountain tops and half of it was just the disaster, LAKSDVAWVJKL
Man will never remember the arcane only run
From what I remember, the Eclipse Shotel is pretty good in pvp if you run two of em and manage to buff up. The weapon art locks the character's movement for a while tho, so a lot of people will just swing on you lol. Oroboro made a build on em near the beginning of the game's lifecycle, so idk if they were touched in the patch history
“Just going in, smashing the boss, and then moving on…” - Gino
Gino is loterally the most goated elden ring player i know. Any runs i want to try i see if Gino had a video on it (He always has lol)
1:17:21 “your merciless glutes”
I actually have never played ER but i love watching videos on it, especially your channel because i find a lot of the other ones annoying 😂 cheers for the videos 👍
Fun fact. Some wines are aged in old bourbon barrels depending on the flavor they want.
A fun weapon for this build could be great stars, for any non summon places.
yoooo i was just thinking about how cool it would be to see you run strength next!! good stuff as always
the ease with which you evade waterfowl is incomprehensible
Love these challenge runs man, keep it up 🤙
My buddy and I found that if you have 1 person (and mimic) running 2 colossal weapons and jump attacking, and another running phantom slash with mimic, the amount of attacks per second perma stun Melania to the point she cannot leave the ground.
Dude currently doing this so far it’s been satisfying 😂just brute force
He should do a Ratatouille challenge where he is controlling one of his friend who hasn’t played Elden rings movements and basically his friend only listens to his commands
