They did such a great job with Rashid. As a hyper casual his combos are very fun to watch and his overall animations are incredible. He's already being optimized to hell and I love it. I'm glad the glitch is fixed because he really deserves his shine. Also small thing, I'm really loving his SF6 theme on more listens. It's VERY different from his SF5 one and although it might not top the original's bombastic nature, it is actually insanely fun to listen to during matches.

Watching this from 5:08 on 0.25x playback speed shows just how beautiful and intricate Rashid's animations flow. The way his costumes moves with the wind and the movement of his attacks is truly beautiful. The only other character to wow me as much with regards to movement animation so far has been Dhalsim. So beautiful and detailed.

Slightly more optimal version of the last trial is that you can do medium kick link into target combo and you can replace light arabian cyclone with medium
Some of those combos are gonna be tough to do consistently in real matches, but damn if it won't be epic when someone nails it in a big moment! Cool stuff, but as you mention, a lot of options to keep track of. And a lot of those combos use a LOT of drive.
Did Max changed editors? His latest videos including this one seem more "jumpy" in the cuts, feels more like a snip reel than having a proper flow like the past ones. I don't mind it just asking.
I cant play rashid but i learned his combos from world tour hes a 50 50 character so indulgent of swagger combos. ill be looking forward for a complete edition for sf6 to access all dlc characters including rashid akuma aki and and ed. Hopefully there is a complete edition with full dlc and skins and im not sure if capcom is continue to bargain more year character passes through the next gap of following years or months but if they stick with these 4 characters only and have this 1 year character pass only too then ill pick the deluxe edition one day but for now i enjoyed his movesets from my avatar in world tour from my standard edition so by time the rest of the others will arrive by that time in 2024 next year they should release the full dlc maybe.
Well considering these current characters from this first pass is literally called, "year one character pass" it's highly likely there will be more than a couple more coming, maybe even four years. But that's just a guess.
I've been a tekken player since it came out with battle arena toshinden back in the day, do you guys think it's possible to convert to this and have fun when i have 20years muscle memory built in from tekken?
I was mainly a SoulCalibur player before trying SF6 and I've been having loads of fun. I say try it out. Modern mode is very easy to pick up from a series like Tekken imo.

Yes. It'll be rough at start when you're figuring shit out but I think you'll have a good time. The input for specials and ults are very different from that of tekken but they're the standard for the vast majority of traditional fighting games so learning that will actually help you in others as well.
Two things: 1. I find this really fascinating. As you said, it feels like he has a rhythm to him, which makes him feel like a dancer of sorts in that, every move, while ridiculous, is also well timed. 2. This is inspiring me for writing my series, as my main character is also a quick, wind using fighter with an unpredictable and unorthodoxed fighting style. Capcom really did good.
Hey good luck with the series you’re writing man, giving your main protagonist wind type powers is cool. I feel like there’s a lot of creative stuff that could be done with wind style powers

I wish content creators mentioned how predatory the pricing of characters is. At first you might think ohh cool Rashid is only $7 worth of fighter coins but then you realize there is no $7 pack and you need to spend $10. This is only made worse by the fact that buying characters individualy does not include their costumes nor colors and we all know how ridiculous their prices are.
The character is awesome, unfortunately after a day of playing with him he's not my style of play. I cant remember all those complicated inputs to make the crazy combos he's capable of happen.
What I'm gonna say is probably stupid but Rashid DOES NOT PLAY like a Street Fighter character. I don't play a lot of fighting games(but I'm really looking foward to get into it given the proper moment!) but from what I know and saw of Street Fighter and this character, he moves quite differently from the rest of the cast, I guess in a good way, he looks awesome!
You are not safe from this char, in the ground in the air.. not even underground.. is like if they suddenly make a char at least 8 times better than any of the rest so far..he is insanely fast.. jump in the air like a mtf.. he can go back and forth and bait you whenever he want.. insane combos,.. If in this moment someone with a 1 full year experience with him would appear.. i m telling you there will be NO freaking way to stop him.. not even by Pros.. the char is so insanely good.. just by spamming normal moves. absolute everyone had troubles dealing with.. he even made to look ken a top tier clearly even in the hands of pro , useless, just by spamming his silly foward whirldwind moves you can almost get a freaking infinite.

... you can definitely grab during his Dash by canceling it using a different direction. I use back for reverse grab or back>forward for regular grab.
