You can really see how much it affected his ultimate games though, especially that set against Zomba. He was dropping combos he wouldn’t usually have dropped, but most importantly, he lost a bit of his game feel. He died twice to misjudging distance and falling. I can’t even imagine how difficult it must be to try and keep a feel for subtle things like that when you’re playing multiple games back to back

Iirc Marss also calls people out for shitting on Riddles (among others) for "being carried". We need more and more of top personalities/players from these communities to spread genuine respect for skilled players like Riddles

I think smash is a great game to supplement SF, the back dashing and micro spacing is pretty akin to dash dancing and smash spacing, threatening available options vs teasing out false approaches with frame-lag traps ++ the mentality to know when to approach and retreat / how to pose tight frame reversals is refined in a 3D plat fighter like smash
@@hwanniggles187i’m not good by any means but the framedata of smash feels so weird and frustrating, you ever see those moments where players can never hit each other and they’re just spotdodging or rolling constantly, sf6 framedata is a lot more straightforward and intuitive with the change it made that most stuff is neutral or negative, unless it’s green or spaced, there’s a few knowledge checks like luke’s full charge heavy qcb punch but otherwise pretty good
Like losing to Menard is nothing to scoff at either - this is like entering MK and losing to sonic fox for top 5 lol anyone in twitch chat would’ve folded after placing 800th
