In all honesty i had a thought, i know penny is a teacher, so why doesnt Alex teach the kids about physical education (because those who cant do, teach) and Leah can teach art classes, they should integrate the town so they have more of a purpose in town
I don't play stardew but I play a similar game, harvest town. On some days the doctor would come to teach biology and the musician would come teach music by playing his guitar.
I think stardew could do something like that as well, but it would mean changing a lot of dialogue and adding diff schedules to the characters.

i never liked penny because of how she dislikes you for not giving the answer she wants.
you loose hearts if you call her out for moving george's wheelchair, even though moving a disabled person's wheelchair without asking is an awful thing to do. in her cooking event, you only get friendship points if you lie about it being good. if you say you dislike kids, you loose a huge amount of hearts, and get a slight drop if you say you don't want kids later in the event. and finally, when you politely turn her down her at the ten heart event, she runs off in tears and you get a MASSIVE drop in points. no other event where you have the option to reject them does this.
i get she's a more shy and emotional character and some scenarios make sense (like the cooking one), but that part of her route always bothered me.
The kids thing is understandable too though to be honest because at that point (8 hearts) she’s romantically interested in you and if you were in her spot (potential partners goals don’t align with yours in any way) I’m sure you’d be a little out off too. Or at least a little less interested than before
Ya deserved it. George scene was definitely weird, but of course she'd lose hearts when some random guy she just met started antagonizing her for something she thought is a good deed, but she still acknowledges she did wrong afterward. If you don't want kids, then don't continue to date/marry her. You're the one with the problem at that point, if you continue to pursue a fruitless relationship. You're basically gaslighting her into a toxic relationship. And turning her down when you were basically at the peak of dating, then you blew it, spectacularly, you don't deserve her at that point, with her felling betrayed and deceived. If this was real life, you would've had a Twitlonger posted about you with serious allegations of manipulation. This is the state of the West, everybody, when your actions don't warrant consequences, and you always think you're the victim.

I probably have hundreds of hours in this game across PC and console, and yet this is the first time I'm seeing front facing Penny. Jesus that's cursed. The perspective work on her hair is completely off kilter. From the side it looks like she has a bun, but the front makes it clear that she's EITHER got some 50s swirly hairdo or a double bun style. Now, I did expect that that was her actual hair because you can see it on her walking sprite. But still, her normal portraits don't make it nearly clear enough. It also makes her look WAY younger

Nah Penny's character is 10/10 tf everyone be saying she's "boring" she's literally the kindest sweetest most genuinely wholesome person in the game, she may not have as much growth as Hailey or Shane, but that's because she starts out as already the best character in the game.
