    My man good job on the work and business development. If I can give you a bit of advice. And this isnt me targeting you or anything of that nature. But appearances are everything. Wear a belt. Dont wear pants with holes. Your advertising on youtube the work you do essentially. Your appearance speaks volumes.

    1. Where did you get those stencils?
    2. Did you degrease that oil spot first?
    3. What are the different types of paints?

      You can also dry them in the sun after the job, so the paint will flake off

    Why would you want to use more paint and do more stencils and make the same amount of revenue though unless I misunderstood what you were saying

    • @TheStripingGuy
      @TheStripingGuy  Рік тому +1

      No you heard right. It’s a tactic that I implement. When a certain amount of arrows are there I drop the price alittle bit.
      It does cost me alittle bit more in paint. But the customer satisfaction and amount of revenue I get from offering a slight discount out weighs the extra paint.
      And this just works for me.

    How would you go about loosing a bid but you know youre the only bidder? Would you try and requote at a lower price or just take the L? Im less concerned about being desperate and more concerned about the thought process that I was originally price gouging. (in reality i would just get closer to cost and loose some profit)

    • @DustinHDarby

      Also in your business what kind of profit margin are you looking to get? 20-30% or something else?

    You ever think about re-striping other types of surfaces such as concrete basketball courts in parks or neighborhoods?? If so how would you go about that?

    • @TheStripingGuy
      @TheStripingGuy  Рік тому +3

      Yes, great question
      Usually with public parks you have to be in good with municipalities. I’ve tried and actively trying to become the main person with City striping on public buildings. The courts you could target apartment complexes but usually they need a 3 mil policy. Hope your having a lot of success this year,
      Chris.

    Prices to high OR you don’t have a top sales guy.
    If you got a dope salesman you can charge anything.

    You seem like a great guy but on a professional level we paint out of a 15 gallon bucket we would never let the stem with the screen rest in the bottom of the bucket we would never let the stem with the screen rest in the bottom of the bucket

      Thank you so much for the comment. Im always adjusting my pricing, I don’t offer it in every job. But I do have a job coming up where I’m using a glass abrasive mixture.

    • @davidallen9526
      @davidallen9526 11 місяців тому +1

      @@TheStripingGuy although the abrasive mix is far less expensive the rounded beads reflect by gathering the light and reflecting.
      Personally I think its a better choice.
      The next job you do, use both. Then drive through a few days later and you'll be surprised at the difference.
      Have a good one buddy!
