I was listening to this and it reminded me of something that is in actual nuclear explosions that should be in Fallout, because the game just isn't depressing enough. I know it is just I minor detail but one thing that the bombs of Hiroshima and Nagasaki did is they were so bright that they bleached concrete, but if a person was standing where the light was trying to go they would block the light for just long enough that it would leave a dark spot in the shape of their body before they were completely incinerated. This left dark outlines of everyday life that the bomb destroyed. Search Hiroshima shadows of you don't believe me. Can you imagine if they added that tiny detail to Fallout. I think it would add a new impact to the entire thing.
It really wouldn't work the way you'd think, yes we'd have the Carbon Shadows but not 90/150/200 years after the fact. Grime and dirt would build up, covering up the markings
I love how he bases songs on video games and stuff, but even if you’ve never played the game it’s still such a cool song. Like I’ve never played fallout -but this song is so dope
Imagine this playing at the end credits of a fallout game that would be epic. And the best part about your songs is they are clearly inspired by a game but can be used for more.
Listening to the start of the lyrics, I dont know how to describe it but Its like watching an explosion in a movie with the sound off, you can feel it, the air pressure changes and you can just sense what it would be like. I can just picture it, standing in the midst of an explosion but you cant hear it just feel it.
i love how all of aviators music (atleast the ones ive seen so far) can fit more than just the characters or stories they were made for. like you can just imagine anything with these that still fit
THIS. This is the mood I have been attempting to set for my fanfiction series involving FO4. Sure, there's plenty of hijinks that occur as attempts at silliness, but they're meant to lighten the mood I'm ultimately going for...I'm just trying to figure out how to properly write it all out...I really need the mood that this song conveys for my FO4 arc.
The first time you premiered this a couple days ago, I knew it was already among my favorites. Fantastic atmosphere! Like a marriage between something out of a Hans Zimmer film score and an Imagine Dragons song.
As usual, you nailed my influences down to the specific artists I thought of when composing. xD I definitely wrote this as a film score more than a typical song, so that's why it has that tone.

The atmosphere is amazing! One of the best songs I ever listened to; it is really inspirating, I will listen to this nonstop when I want to write something about darkness, hope, despair and apocalyptic things. Your voice fits perfectly to the dark atmosphere. Simply amazing!
I'm also a massive fan of Fallout serie and oh my god ... You made my day. Everytime when a new video is out, I'm here like " wow. dude. I'm in love with him . damn " ... Thanks you for this song.
My belief is it’s not a fallout 4 song not only because the lyrics would make more sense referring to fallout 3 but also because there’s some music very similar to the fallout 3 title music in the song.
@@AbstractTraitorHero yea but New Vegas is supposed to BE a paradise. The oasis in the wasteland. I think the lyrics far better fit the struggles in the Mojave then in the Capitol or Commonwealth. New Vegas, a place for kings and thieves alike
yes, i have Fallout 4 for the PS4 and it's been a blast so far exploring the ruins of Boston and Concord with a robotic, wisecracking detective and a German Shepherd (the main quest is depressing as shit tho)
YOU My friend have earned this to be on my post apocalyptic list of music to play during my Fallout trilogy Dude, I highly suggest you make more like these they are amazing!
Anyone else imagine this as a music video on a stage like Cirque Du Sole-esk with acrobats dressed like the factions and ghouls in fallout with prop guns shooting each other and the ringmaster is singing? just me?
Yeeeeeesssssss!!! I didn't think I could love your music any more than I already had, then you prove me wrong and draw inspiration from my favorite games of all time.
This song also kinda suits XCOM 2, where everything is presented as a paradise while the resistance has lost the will to fight without the commander. Especially since the song gets more and more intense about surviving.
I was just thinking I saw a horse profile picture, hi names Blackjack, built my whole new persona around her, having trouble finishing the book. Wow that is so awesome... And i'm not even not into "Fallout". I'd like to hear more video-game related songs from you. I think "Soma" could inspire some awesome things. My dream would be to ever hear a song about "Warframe", but i don't expect you in particular to write one because it's not a game for everyone, especially not for busy singers

not just there, even in nuclear tests their shadows are printed in the pavement
@Killer Queen as always, New Vegas proves to be the best of new Fallout games.
House always wins.
PS: I tip my hat to you, from one Jobro to another.
Try Fallout 1 or Fallout 2 they have a creeper vibe then the others but due to the way it's set up I'm not use to it.
I know I'm super late to the party, but this is something that is actually mentioned in fallout 3. Go to Underworld and speak to Carol.
It really wouldn't work the way you'd think, yes we'd have the Carbon Shadows but not 90/150/200 years after the fact. Grime and dirt would build up, covering up the markings
The title drop of this song just feels so impactful - especially how you sing it. "Welcome to Paradise". Sets the mood.

Okay, I JUST noticed the Fallout 3 title music in there. Or at least the same style. Beautiful job incorporating that in there!
Good ear! It is indeed the Fallout 3 theme in a different key.
Aviators :D
I used to play violin, you needed a good ear in order to play that thing!
Cheers for the link
i love fallout 3 better than all other fallout games made.

This is really a great song. All of your songs are great, but this one is on a whole new level.
Returning to this again after replaying New Vegas, Aviators nailed the atmosphere with this song!
I just found this band today and I already love their music. So beautiful :)
This... this song is something else... I've listened to it approximately 12 times and don't plan on stopping. So much hype. Halp me
This song is still good. I'm glad to listen to it again. This will always be a classic. :)
Every single time I hear an awesome slow song like this by Aviators, I have actually found it becomes about 20% cooler on 1.25 times speed...
So it adds up to about.... lemme think...... 120% coolness in total, thx for the info ;D
