same, guthrie is up there technically but theres not a single somg by him i really like. buckethead is the most complete to me. amazing technically, great songs, great variety, feeling, speed. satch is also good at writing songs.
James M He’s good, but anyone who practices as much as he did can have great technical ability. He’s written some nice songs like Sippery thing and Waves. Until he’s written the albums upon albums filled to the top with awesome music that Joe Satriani, Steve vai, Greg Howe, John Petrucci, and Pat Methany have then I’ll consider him a great artist. Right now he’s a great musician and shows promise.
Thank you for the kind words dudes and dudettes! I’m still getting to grips with my new bits of camera gear. And I forgot to turn of auto ISO, so some shots go bright and dark loads! But that aside, I just wanted to show you guys that above all else (the demos, gear, bands and bants) we are just bros here for each other and helping each other with stuff throughout life. I was there for rob, and to show him support as his bro. Friends are the family you choose, and I can say I really love my family! Sadly I got no footage of Ola, as Hannah and I had limited time together so we wanted to make the most of it, which meant missing some stuff. I knew he’d be vlogging too so figured you could catch up with him on his channel! Thanks for watching guys!
Rabea Massaad I know exactly what it’s like to have friends like that. I sometimes wonder if I’d be here without them alongside of course my beautiful girlfriend with whom I’d struggle to survive as well as I have been without her. Deep words I know, hahaha. I hope you’re well man, it’s been too long. I’m going to get my self to a gig ASAP so we can actually hook up as it’s been way too long and stories from Aaron aren’t as good as having yours truly in front of you ;) Rock on!
No lie, my first reaction to the video was "whoa, Rebae with the great looking footage" Looks awesome man! Keep giving us the fantastic vlogs! And thanks for the uploads.
Each guitar player in this video is skilled, some are at godlike skill level, but once you hear Vai's playing, you know it's him for his melodic feel and total control over instrument. Great video, Rabea! Keep 'em coming!
Rabea, thank you so much for this video. Even though I am not always a fan of the kind of music Rabea, Rob and co. play (but liked Rob's new band), the reason I watch these videos is the spirit of camaraderie and love that is reflected in every video that they make. It is such a nice experience to see nice people care about each other, and have a laugh at the same time, and I think that this little band of brothers and sisters is a unique presence on youtube, and I am very grateful for it.
Crazy solo by Rob ! Good sound ! Dorje and toska are great artists ! It's feel à Real passion in your creations ! Rabea you're awesome ! Crazy work ! Hi from France 😉
Bea, Rob, leo, Steve and Guthrie in one 😍 I've listened to that cover of Africa loads is so good I could have it on repeat all day I wish my life was this interesting
You guys mentioned how great it was to meet your guitar heroes govan and vai and how humble, gracious and kind they were. I met you guys a couple of years ago when you came to beau Monde guitars in New Jersey and just want to say it was a fantastic experience and found you guys to be just as humble, gracious and kind. Having guitar skills is only part of the equation of greatness. These other qualities is what make you guys so enjoyable. Keep making great content and I wish you and the whole gang continued success for many years to come.
Wow, love Rob's band! So cool, his players were killer too. Thanks for bringing that out to us, Rabea. Rob, you guys nailed that stuff to the wall. Hope to see y'all in the States.
Thanks for taking the time to vlog and share this, the drone footage was kick ass! Well done bro! It's refreshing to hear positive things about the people you respect in this industry, that's what makes music so great, the people you meet and the memories you make. Safe travels Bea! Peace!
Nice one, Rabea! What a cool event! and... I also have a lot of admiration for Steve Vai not only as a musician but as a person. He is gifted on many levels.
I had the incredible honour of hosting Steve Vai in 2014 at my hotel as we were the main sponsors of his concert. I was assigned to manage his every move from the time he touched down at the airport till he left the country. The 2 1/2 days I spent with him and his son was absolutely bonkers! He really is the nicest man ever! A bit of a picky eater (vegetarian) but that's cool, I knew a few places. I remember distinctly mentioning to him after his show that I had played the EVO replica that Ibanez released a few years back and he laughed and said, "Well, now you get to play EVO" and just handed it to me. That and meeting Tenacious D was the best memories I've had for my career in the hotel industry. The only reason I was given those gigs is that my sales team hater "Rockstars" because they were demanding. They couldn't have been any more wrong. I'm glad I mentioned it on my orientation that I was a musician and loved rock/ metal/ whatever. It opened so many doors for me. Cheers!
Bea, this is the most mellow you've been at a venue, most definitely see the difference between about to perform Bea and guest Bea. Thanks for the video man and keep em coming!
So much humility in this video ! Thank You so much Rabea ! You got the groovy attitude i like ! Liked hard that " we werent allowed to film" part. (sry for my english im french)
I feel I just met you guys. Just became a youtube dude at 57 years old. Just retired so now guitar is my life. Rob, WOW, Steve Vai is the MAN. However, your abilities compared.. That is really saying it all. You are in the same league from what I see. And you do the BLUes? Right on...... Never heard of you or your guitar buddies before. UA-cam is kinda cool for that stuff. Anyhow, thanks to Rabea fro the nice filming. Very cool.
You did a great job Bea and Rob did himself proud by the sound of it. He has to interview Satch next. Also, is there anything Guthrie can't play?! I'd even go so far as to say that even the legend that is Mr. Vai looks a mere mortal next to Mr. Govan.
Spent my day doing an assessment for a masters degree in software engineering, no dinner yesterday and hours of traveling via train today. Safe to say it was head wrecking, this video helped me zone back in again and wake me up a bit, thanks Bea, I needed that! P.S. Production quality of this video is top notch man, well done!
Your videography in this vid was stunning. The 'B(ea) Roll' was excellent. It's a pity that the Chappers/Vai session could not be filmed. But I since read on Vai's twitter that he thought he was going to appear on stage with Lee Anderton. Vai lost his bottle.
Yeah, man that soooony!! Thanks for the hangs:)
Guthrie has to be one of the most complete guitarists of his generation
Richard Harrold stevie ray vaughan? jimi hendrix and eric clapton
same, guthrie is up there technically but theres not a single somg by him i really like. buckethead is the most complete to me. amazing technically, great songs, great variety, feeling, speed. satch is also good at writing songs.

@Brad Młodystach you should check The Aristocrats. Its much better than Guthrie's solo album
Richard Harrold Tommy Emmanuel...
Thank you for the kind words dudes and dudettes!

Whole lot of respect for your philosophy on friends and those whose lives you play a part in fella. All the best for the future :-)
Too right, friends are the family you choose.
Rabea Massaad I know exactly what it’s like to have friends like that. Rabea Massaad i think the iso adjust was a cool happy accident!
No lie, my first reaction to the video was "whoa, Rebae with the great looking footage" Looks awesome man! Keep giving us the fantastic vlogs! And thanks for the uploads.

Great video, Rabea! Keep 'em coming!
Hey bro, thank you so much for this awesome video I really appreciate it, I looked so nervous LOL :-)
Rob Chapman Did you say you weren't allowed to record the interview? Why?
You were awesome up there, Chappers!
They say never meet your heroes but meeting Rabea or Rob would probably be awesome. Very humble guys that seem normal.
Every time I hear Rob sing I'm reminded what a truly fantastic guitar player he is.
Haha! Jeezus.
he was great with Priest though, looks good for his age
Good to see you all together and enjoying yourselves
Rabea, thank you so much for this video.

I love seeing how chill all you guys are.
I'm digging the chill beats played over scenery shots
Crazy solo by Rob ! Good sound ! Dorje and toska are great artists ! It's feel à Real passion in your creations ! Rabea you're awesome ! Crazy work ! Hi from France 😉

I'm so glad Rob finally got to talk and play with Steve Vie. Wow what an exciting time that must of been. :)
It makes me incredibly happy to see Rob share the stage with Vai. Great video! I'm a big fan of your work, Rabea!

no guitarist has any right to be as good and as humble as mr.govan
guthrie has that right because he practised hard and is a good guy
Let’s why ppl say he is the guitar Jesus, not only his looking and playing!
Thanks for taking the time to vlog and share this, the drone footage was kick ass! Well done bro! It's refreshing to hear positive things about the people you respect in this industry, that's what makes music so great, the people you meet and the memories you make. Safe travels Bea! Peace!

Wow, Steve Vai, Rob Chapman and my good friend Jan Akkerman, three great guitarplayers sharing a stage, doesn't get any better...
Dude Jan Akkerman is one of my heroes, such an under the radar guy. Great video!
Sort of met him, my dad played with him once, he's actually a pretty great guy and I don't understand why so many people dislike him.
Great video Bea! I'm really liking the sound of Rob's new material too.
Balls of steel Rob. Way to get up there with one of the greatest guitar players ever and hold it down. Nice

Great vid! I just love the forward motion. Congratulations on all the hard work paying off. Bravo!
Enjoyed every minute. 👍
That bit where guthrie shredded with one hand while looking away just shows the godlike level which he plays at.
No, that's just a silly trick, he'd tell you that himself...
The editing work on this video is amasing ! Really nice video Rabea :)
Epic journey...
I feel I just met you guys. Just became a youtube dude at 57 years old. Just retired so now guitar is my life.

Anyhow, thanks to Rabea fro the nice filming. Very cool.
Great video Bea! The video quality is superb. But most of all you're an excellent friend.
Sick jam at the end wow
This is what Rob should be doing on Andertons videos! Proof he doesn't always have to be Mr. Shredy-High-Gain all the time. Awesome stuff.
Loving the content and quality! Awesome!
You did a great job Bea and Rob did himself proud by the sound of it. He has to interview Satch next. Also, is there anything Guthrie can't play?! I'd even go so far as to say that even the legend that is Mr. Vai looks a mere mortal next to Mr. Govan.
Thank you for this great documentation Rabea!! Cheers, Jeroen Simons, Independent/ex- EPICA.

That spa is just ridiculously comfortable. They even serve beer, so you can chill in the jacuzzi with a cold one. Mmm... spa
Rob from the beginning of your very first UA-cam videos to now you have achieved so much success. So proud Congrats buddy!!!
amazing!!!!
You can hear Steve Vai touching your sould with his playing.
Your videography in this vid was stunning. The 'B(ea) Roll' was excellent. It's a pity that the Chappers/Vai session could not be filmed. But I since read on Vai's twitter that he thought he was going to appear on stage with Lee Anderton. Vai lost his bottle.
