It reminds me when I met you in London in 2014 at the acoustic guitar show. After the clinic, you let me try a couple of your signature guitars and the Randall Satan. I came back home with a signed copy of "Vinter" and another CD with a backing track that you probably used during the clinic. It was a nice experience! I’m a drummer but I love guitars and own some nice ones, since I have started studying guitar it has opened up the guitar god doors and man there some people out there with the gift Steve Vai being one of them.
I’m in the process of catching up on your vlogs, and I had to comment on this one. I’m 60 years old. And I can totally understand your “fan girling” about having Steve Vai sigh your guitar. Hell, if you were coming to my town (not happening in a million year), I’d be totally stoked to have you sign one of my guitars. That’s the cool thing about music. Maybe even life in general. I have had the good fortune to meet Steve on 2 occasions, and he signed my Ibanez rg4ex1 both times (he even took a minute to admire it's paint job) He's such a gracious artist! I thought he would be arrogant, but he was truly humble.

Wow, that was great! Steve is such a lovely guy. I remember seeing him in Stockholm 5 or 6 years ago. I was standing in the very first row, taking pictures between the songs with a big smile on my face. All of the sudden i noticed that he was looking at me smiling as well and he goes like "What's up buddy? Can I get your phone for a second?" So I gave it to him. He started to film his own band and later he was kind of making fun of me when he pretended to take picture of his balls. He was like: "Good luck man! How are you going to explain this to your girlfriend?" :D He is so down to earth, funny guy. Unfortunately, my phone was stolen some month later and I never really saved that clip anywhere so it's gone for good. However, I'm glad for you that you met him and got the guitar signed! Love your vids and keep on doing the great job! :)
