If the Grammy's was a metal or hard rock crowd then maybe she wouldn't have specifically planned it, but pop crowds don't expect that sort of thing, so the chance of her coming crashing down and hurting herself and others was too high to risk.
She's not a metal singer but she's the only pop star that could've done this and I'm proud of her!
