I like Rybakina started doing more sidespin dropshots, love seeing that from her. Elena improved her speed on clay, that is obvious.
The point I have repeatedly made is that Rybakina's rest time has to be managed very well. By not playing the last tournament she is ready mentally and physically for the French Open.

@Fontsman-14 That's the correct pronunciation in russian. The chair umpire is pronouncing it incorrectly. It is from the word Rybak, a fisherman, and the stress is definitely on the A.
Rybakina is the best player on tour. Her ball striking and serves are second to none. What an amazing serving, ball striking and return of serve by Rybakina. I wish her good luck in the next round too.

Rybakina is very talented and fantastic. Her problem with regard to winning grand slams is her endurance. Grand slams take a lot out of players, leaving only the strongest and fittest to reach the semis and finals. Rybakina's energy and stamina appears to fizzle out towards the end of grand slams. She has been in two finals, but for a player with her talent, she should be in many more.
Unfortunately, she has struggled with injuries and illness over the last year. In Stuttgart she won several three set matches in a row, in GS's you get a day off between every match to recover. So sometimes physically it's easier to play a GS than a regular tournament but keeping the form going for two weeks it's difficult. Her form just seems to peak at the wrong time before GS's. She can beat anyone but she can also beat herself. I like the fact she is trying to be more versatile.
@@JohnDoe-xt7xl lets not pretend she loses in grand slams bc she is injured. That happened only 1 time in last years roland garros. She wasnt injured in australian open, us open or last wimbledon
