I still remember their classic match in St. Petersburg, where Cristian played amazing, aggressive tennis (winning in straight sets) and i also remember the ill-feeling between the ladies during and at the end of that match!
I'm very glad to see time has proved a great healer - was also surprised to see Ostapenko applauding a winner from Cristian in this match!
Jaqueline Cristian is a fabulous player but just lacks any consistency - her results should be far better than they are.
