Katelynn Jones haha it took some time. Just keep being gentle and if she's been good reward her. That's what I have found to work 😊 they still don't like water though. I think it's because they can't see it so it's scary to them.
I just gave my baby beardie a bath the other day. The tub is slanted a bit so he walked around to different depths as he pleased. He was kind of fidgety before I put him in, but as soon as he was in the water, he closed his eyes and looked so calm! I'll have to do it again soon to see if I get the same reactions.
What do you keep them in? Because some people keep them in sand or paper or a cloth or a carpet and idk what’s best. Some people say carpets are bad because there claws get stuck but sand is also bad
Carpet, but I will be moving to tile when I upgrade my tank. It depends on the dragon. if you join my reptile lovers group on facebook, I have a whole assortment of beardie info and a whole group of people (including me) to help you along the way with all of your questions.
Do you use anything to get the chlorine out of your tap water? We just adopted an adult bearded dragon, and we are working up to giving him a bath. I know we have to sit his water out a few days to allow chlorine to evaporate. Just curious if you have any tips on making sure that the bathing water is chlorine free.
hey,i am wondering how could i give a bath to my rescue baby girl that is very skittish and so far doesnt let me to touch her :( . i notice that she is shedding and she needt to get her bath. any advice on this situation would really help ;)
How old are they? having a towel on the bottom of the bin and/or tub might help them calm down a little. They cannot see the water and get scared because there is no traction on the bottom and it moves them in weird ways. Taking it slow will help and make sure the water is calm and still, no running water. Dripping a few drops on the nose might help build that bond too.
LizardGuru thank you, we did our first bath 🙂🤗😍 she was fine swimming around for 10 min then she just demanded to b taken out 😁🤗 your advises helps sp much u are amazong person!!!!🤗😍
I like and appreciate your videos about bearded dragons. A lot of this seems to come to me is common sense but I could see how it wouldn't for everyone. It almost seems instinctive. Either way good instructional videos. Thanks
I just bathe my lizards in my pool but I have a problem. I tossed my bearded dragon in there and he just sank to the bottom. I know they can breathe underwater but he won't come out of the pool and it's been 2 days. Any advice?
I was not sure if this was a real question or not, so I hesitated on how to answer if i'm being honest. Bearded dragons cannot breath under water so If that is really what happened to you, then your dragon is most likely deceased sadly. They do however have a second eyelid which allows them to see under water. They're truly amazing creatures.
When I try to dry mine off, she instantly wants to go to my shoulder to cuddle instead of dry off with the towel lol
You are so sweet & tender with your dragons. I know they just love you! My sweet beardie , Kramoda loves his bath time.
Ughhhhhh! They look so adorable when u were drying them. Just want to squeeze them with loves, hugs, and tisses.
I just loved this video. Your so loving with them and they love you back i can tell. You totally rock!
How to train your dragon but better XD
I love you, your channel, and your beardies! Thanks for the vids! You treat your beardies so well!
Such cute little babies. I wish nova would be that calm when drying her off. She doesn't even want me to touch her after baths 😂

can you do a video on what to do on the first day your lizard comes home. thx
Yes, of coarse! I will add it to my list :)
oh my goodness i’ve been watching ur videos for almost an hour trying to help my little buddy and he’s all better now thank you so so much🥺🥺❤️
can you please make a video on how to tame a baby beardie?
The best way to tame is to build a bond. I have made a video on how to bond with your dragon.
We just rescued a 3yr old bearded dragon and I am LOVING your videos! Just wondering what temp you have the water? Is it luke warm, or warmer?
You want it around the same temperature you'd put a newborn baby in. So 70-80 degrees Fahrenheit
I like your hair👌
I'm getting a berdie and I'm getting all the information I need! So don't stop making those vidios I love them!!!!!!!!!!😁
Those are some ridiculously cute lizard dumplings. Even when they are throwing you shade from the bath they are adorable. 💕
Love your videos. Your Beardies are so adorable!
What happened to one of their tails?
my bearded dragon loves baths 😀

Question: do you have to bath them everyday? Or how often should you. I have a juvenile beardy.
No, twice a week. For juveniles 10-15 min works if you need to do it more than twice a week.

Send them to my social media accounts.
is it okay to give your beardie a bath when they are just barely starting to shed their skin?
Yes
she hit the door lol
Why do you wait 30 minutes?
Because that's how long they soak for. 15-30 min. This was in the winter, so I soak them longer.
So cute Bearded Dragons
How often should you wash them?
Baby Riri Twice a week. About 30 min each time
LizardGuru Thanks!💖
My beardie hates baths lol
