This program will provide clinical updates on a variety of topics that are commonly seen in the treatment of adult patients in the primary care setting.
Objectives
At the conclusion of this offering, the participant will be able to:
1) Describe skin findings commonly seen in COVID-19 patients.
2) Discuss if there is a definitive association and timing related to COVID-19.
3) Identify if there is predictability in disease severity.
4) Describe differences in skin findings in children vs. adults.

I got the first vaccine shot and few days later my scalp got these rashes not little either there ugly and weird also on my but cheek I got a boil at same time totally scared and will not get the second shot period. I’m 45 years old and never had anything like it ever it can’t be a coincidence it has to be directly related I’m embarrassed and scared to have it looked at and still suffering from it..
Wow that’s crazy. Any improvement in your condition?
Palpable indicated goes down on its own. Or medicines to be taken no pain
I recently got Pityriasis Rosea from my first Pfizer vaccine. It looks pretty damn intense on my back and it’s continuing to spread though it’s been over a month since my first dose. Can anybody give me more explanation about this?
OMG SAME HERE! I had a Janssen dose and had one spot on my leg but month later it is spreading on my body! No one is speaking about this side effect on the news.
@@GuidetteExpert you have to sunbathe the rash for about 30 minutes a day, use the clinical strength head and shoulders (blue bottle) and lather that on your body for like 3 minutes (don’t go over 5mins or you will burn your skin) then just moisturize after your shower. Go buy some Lysine supplements and take it everyday until the rash goes away.
EE okai thank you for your advice! But what is clinical strength head and shoulders? Is that a cream brand?
@@GuidetteExpert no no it’s Head and Shoulders the dandruff shampoo! You got to buy the “Clinical Strength” version which is in a blue bottle that’s stronger than the original head and shoulders brand to use as body wash when you have pityriasis rosea.
Wow, my feet looked just like the first patient in September 2019. Felt like walking on fire and knives, extremely itchy. Lasted 4 weeks.
No one knew why other than being told to wear compression socks and steroids cleared it mostly. Early March 2020 full blown sickness, rash back, felt like death for a week. Wish I could attach a picture, and I still wonder if it was covid-19.
I had the purple rings rash bad headache for 5 wks.I took aspirin that saved me I didn't go to the er or dr just found out I had it from a antibodies test.Again than I. April I had a flare up that time I went to er .
At 13 min covid skin rash starts, @1645 nice peds study
Why this red small rashes on hand and thigh after treated with COVID for nearly hospitalization for weeks time in hospital.
Me too have same symptoms WT can I do it's very panic😔
Will a PCR covid test detect if I have covid if my only symptom is the rash?
ADHD patients and those with MC1R gene are more susceptible to pernio also. My 7yo son switched to Vyvanse in November and his chilblains quadrupled overnight compared to Adderall XR. Our GP hadn’t even heard of pernio ...epic fail. Especially considering he’s a redhead too 🤦♀️
I flaked 1 week after the onset of covid
thanks for the pictures, they were very helpful!
Currently suicidal due to an urticarial full body rash that has happened 3 times since late 2019. It lasts 2-3 weeks each time and currently coincides with my entire family falling ill with COVID including myself. The last time was just a month ago while the Delta variant was surging, which means I would've had to have been infected only a few weeks prior to the Omicron (which is technically possible but wow!). And the first time was August 2019 which is technically before COVID existed but during the summer of "EVALI" vaping disease (wink wink). My doctor was completely baffled. Before 2019 I had never had a single skin problem in my life. I'm vaxxed but not boosted (Pfizer). Had an elevated CRP with the first rash but everything else normal. Starting to feel hopeless. If this happens every time I'm exposed to COVID I'm not gonna survive going forward.
Is it Rashes? Or Shibgles?

I've had a rash for the last 6 mths. Still have it. I have never been diagnosed with covid. However in December of 2018 I was really sick with what was like the flu x2.

Little red bumps that started out on my chest. It's also on my right inner bicep. It itches and spreads but very slowly, like from the inner fold of my right arm to the upper bicep in a 6 month period.
@@user-tu5kv3sz5h what do you have going on?
@@nbidnmI've not has luck with the Dermatologist in my area but very similar to a shingle outbreak. I have some places that are flat but bruised looking, some are eruptions, some only leave a cpl days til it's back. I also notice that my nervous system is very sensitive. Shortness of breath, lethargic. I have also had a lot of ringing in my ears and heavy hair loss. . All this started Feb 2020. My sis had just come home from a job assignment in China. She and her family were sick but not serious. I never got tested cuz we weren't aware until then of Covid 19 but I did see the dr in early Feb. My oxygen level was 65 and flulike symptoms, low grade fever.
My dr now looking back is sure that I had it 2020 but need antibody test to be sure.
Anyhow this all has been going on over a yr now and just looking for answers.
Thank you

My wife pointed out a mistake I made, it was December of 2019 not 2018.
Also I was mowing some time last year and had some kind of attack where I could not breath. It took me a couple of hours before my breathing was normal. Ever since then I have a raspiness to my breathing. I don't seem to have the depth I used to have in my breathing.
Are these related to COVID?
