- In this video I show how to make adjustments to the 2 tooth steering box on the Ford Model A. I cover the 3 adjustments and the proper order of making the adjustments.
Bonus tip:
Also at the end I show how to make sure that your ignition/spark lever linkages are set correctly.

Good lesson on steering adjustment. All you need to do & know! BTW, the 2 tooth was not universall in '29 & they were never on RHDs until '30. Cheers from NZ.

May seem silly. Is there not a bench adjusting method? I guessing one could pretty much have the adjustment close on the bench
The same steps could be done on a bench if you have the steering box off the car already …. but it wouldn’t be worth taking the box off to do the adjustments. It’s very difficult to get the box off the car with the body mounted.
