What's up Luke! He was great. Trained with everyone and wasn't bothered by people asking him to roll or take a picture. Cool dude for sure. Hungry to learn.
I wouldn't blame actors for doing private lessons though. People can get weird and inappropriate when in front of celebrities. And if you are taking private lessons, then you are going to learn faster with more 1 on 1 attention from the coach.
This was neat. I'm a veteran who trains JiuJitsu and was a part of the FLO Grappling Series Daisy Fresh. Tom spoke briefly about the Reorg Charity and his passion for it. I served 8 years in the US Marines. I've lost brothers, family and on many occasions nearly myself. Finding the Daisy Fresh Crew has given me a chance to not only continue being a part of something bigger than me, but reach so many like me with the reach our episodes and channel has. I didn't know about Reorg before but after making this video with Heath and Tom, he touched on what it means to him. I just wanted to thank Tom for dropping in and kicking it with the team!
Your underhook pass (and other techniques) have had a huge impact on my game over the past couple years. Respect for Tom..don't ever see celebs in a room with real guys.
Love Tom Hardy even more. Kept forgetting it was him and was just listening to what the professor was teaching. That means Tom was there for the Jits. That pivot to connect the elbow and knee was cool. Tom is a class act and this was a great class.
I don't know about being one of the best actors in hollywood today. But he is definitely legit in bjj. But there are other actors, even in UK, that do bjj. Like Kevin Lloyd. Yes Mr. Lloyd is , mostly, a pro wrestler but he is also a part time actor, LEGIT advanced nogi bjj competitor, and legit catch wrestler(the sport that gave rise to pro wrestling). He also does real freestyle wrestling competition as well as legit catch wrestling competition(Snake Pit Wigan. Where he is level 2(the highest is level 6) assistant coach). He is also trained in muay thai(in fact he started in muay thai) and japanese juijitsu. And he trained in all these martial arts(muay thai, japanese juijutsu, bjj, catch wrestling, and freestyle wrestling) to make his pro wrestling $HOOT STYLE(as in realistic). LOL.
Might be one of the coolest things to happen at the Daisy Fresh camps! Watching heath teach one of the greatest actors of all time was bloody sick! Edit: read Jorge’s bloody comment.
Nothing short of amazing hopefully we get to see him come to Mt vernon some day. I need to make it back myself soon, two hours is definitely worth getting to train with you all.
Молодец Том. Ставит цель и идет к ней. Он ко всему относится вдумчиво и скрупулезно. Что к поофессии, что к спорту. Чуть постарел, но такой же красавец ❤❤❤ спасибо за видео.👍👍👍
Despite all his flames and the popularity being respectful to his teacher and play the student role with the right attitude is the greatest thing. That is the maturity. Love this guy more...
Amazing video! Very educational. So happy to see my favorite actor, Tom Hardy enjoying jiu jitsu. He seems very polite and down to earth. Thanks for sharing!
When training with in a group, I like the fact that I am able to watch others to get a better perspective of the technique and also movement of the teacher. Also, when training with someone else while the teacher is observing you, it'd make it easier for the teacher to see your mistakes and correct them on the fly. Tom, seemed like a regular fellow who was really into learning this art (why else would he be there?)so kudos to him to to those who were being respectful and giving him space.
Jiu jitsu is the ultimate ego eliminator. Nice to see actors, Veterans, pro athletes and etc train Jiu jitsu. Hopefully Tom continues his journey. Great video and instruction…ossss
Instead, this video should be called "Really Good Gaurd Passing Information" or " Knee Slice 101". I almost didn't click on it but I am glad I did. Good stuff
@@DaisyFreshUSA No disrespect to Tom Harding. He is currently one of my favorite actors. But solid passing info is harder to come by and is usually the difference between winning and losing a match, IMO. Side Note: I like how you coupled the Knee Slice with the Toreando Pass when live-rolling! Thank you for posting guys!

good to see Tom hardy training in normal classes and not going for special celeb treatment where they get belt handouts from private lessons. respect
Thanks for watching!

@@raymondc8156 yeah for sure, 1 to 1s can be limited though for learning if that's all you do.
