I’m with you on the braid I’m so used to having it on my regular bass gear I run either 10 15 20# braid for my bfs stuff with a leader depending on what I’m throwing

You might double check I am pretty sure Daiwa doesn’t recommend pe line on the alphas air that is why the are making a pe version of the alphas air
No pe works just fine, you just have to have your drag set correctly. In the box there’s a warning against spool warping but that’s it
