  • This is a Progression Reel of Joshua Schaub learning the technique through math based sequential muscle order that was strategized and used to complete as shown in this reel a nine second tech (Freestyle) (10 pts in Europe for 13U) from shot to last turn at the Tallinn Open in Tallinn Estonia (3.23.24). He completed the tournament 8-1 taking silver in freestyle.
The intent was to train two forward attacks that included trail leg shots. In this reel we are focussed on the trail leg shot to three lace turns and one backward turn (in case of backward pressure and loss of momentum)
Clip One , Clip Two and Clip Five focus on exact sequential muscle order and placement to create the most effective structure with Joshua’s body to complete the strategy of a powerful shot exposing his opponents legs and making readily available the W laces and backward turn. You can see we are practicing on both trail legs. You can see in the final clip that he easily switches legs with exact execution of technique.
In Clip Three we incorporate more weight by having Joshua executed a trail leg shot with extensive penetration to result in him having to lace at or near the thighs on a partner who is ten to fifteen pounds heavier than Joshua’s 72 pounds. In Clip Four he is executing an over under.
Clips Six, Seven and Eight you can see the increased speed and transitions
Clip Nine is a nine second tech (10 pts in Europe for 13U) from shot to last turn at the Tallinn Open in Tallinn Estonia (3.23.24)
