Your style of handling your spiders is so impressive!! I watched another person who appeared to have "a lot of experience", antagonize his spider to show off its defensive posture, and he was shocked when it died a few weeks later. He had nowhere for it to hide or climb. Just broke my heart. 🥺 Makes me appreciate you so much more! I direct people to your site all the time. Thank you for what you do Dave! Sincerely. 💜
Hello again Professor Dave & Mrs. Camera-Lady; wonderful video! I'm still an arachnophobe but, I love watching all of your videos. It simply amazes me how calm & gentle you are with all of your spiders. Serious props to both of you & thanks for sharing!!!
I have watched this video multiple times, and I think it’s because you demonstrate so clearly that if the keeper is calm, the spider responds in kind. ❤
I always feel like the legs of these tarantula spiders are like our own fingers in a way. Everything went smooth as can be in the video made it look so easy to move her.
Its amazing how security can effect these guys. My N Trippepi used to slap the water dish whenever I would fill it up, rearing up when I open the enclosure, just generally being a pill until I rehoused him after a molt. I think he felt more comfortable having a deeper den. He still surfaces, but isn't as defensive anymore. This was really a treat to watch, thank you for posting!
As a Brazilian, I've been lucky enough to stumble in one such specimen out in the wild, called locally a "caranguejeira" (crab-like). It's one of several theraphosine theraphosid that go by that name. They are usually very calm and sedate, and get a bad rep for their size. The biggest danger from those, usually, are the urticating hairs. I appreciate your care and attention to your spiders.
Hey Dave and Camera Lady, i just wanted to say i love your channel. And coming from me that is high praise as i am a terrible arachnophobe, but Ive been following your channel for quite a number of months and find the pairing videos most fascinating. You have a fabulous collection of very beautiful spiders. Thanks for the great content and keep it coming
Always loved the look of these spiders. My daughter has a N chromatus that I love helping her look after but I always wanted to get this species too. Great video again Dave. Thanks.
You're so calm, gentle and loving when you handle the spiders Dave so you can shown us how nice they can be in return! You and our very much appreciated Sweet Camera Lady are such good ambassadors for a beastie that scare a lot of people or can be their worst nightmare. You both have for sure sparked the interest for spiders and substitute fear in us with respect and appreciation, they are beautiful creatures indeed!
from the few channels i watch, dave is just so clever and methodical about dealing with the spiders - deserves more followers. its very impressive. knows his stuff and is always prepared.
I truly enjoy your videos so much. She is a gorgeous girl! So fuzzy!! Watching her freak out on the moss was cute, and you handled her so calmly! Love to see it!
Hello Dave and Camera Lady. This week I have introduced y’all to my husband. He thinks I’m nuts but he does like your videos. I am so sorry I missed the live stream but I had to work. This is a beautiful, fuzzy girl! She looks like a teddy bear. It seems that her feet were almost blue. Can’t wait to see more fuzzy babies. Your package is going in the post on Friday. Enjoy the rest of your week. Take care and stay safe. 💖❤️😁
Absolutely brilliant Dave, really enjoyed that one, I actually have a juvenile nhandu tripepii, and i think their a stunning species of spider 🕷 definitely worth having in anybodys collection, anyway Dave another super job by yourself and camera 📷 lady, always pleasurable viewing.
Dave she is stunning I Love Her little Brown toes. Good job on moving her in her house And Dave I love to hear you say the spiders are stunning ,Don't stop saying that
Dude's a wizard. I've never seen any keeper rehouse - or do _anything_ with, really - a N. tripepii without it kicking hairs all over the damn place. Not once til now.
I think that you do a great job of showing how you move your different spiders every time you do a rehouse video. If I was keeping them, I would just look for the one that you work with that I had to see what you do. Great job, she will be happy in there.
Hi Dave and Camera Lady 💙💕 hope you’re both doing well and enjoying your week. I can’t think of another place any better than the Beastie Room for one of Bethany’s Spiders 🕷 She’s indeed a fine looking Tarantula and she was putty in your hands. Just shows other hobbyists how to treat and manage their own. Even the flighty/feisty ones. Thank you and Camera Lady for another epic rehouse video today 💙💕🕷 Take care and stay safe 😘xxx
Beautiful spider Dave and very well behaved! I have seen them throw a defense pose but after seeing you rehouse her I think it was due to poor handling of the situation. Camera lady fabulous job some really great close ups of her! I am looking forward to seeing a pairing video in the future with this girl, wonderful video guys thanks so much!!🕷
She is so pretty 😍 If only they wouldn't get so big, I would have one too but my space is very limited 😄 I admire the way you deal with your animals. A few days ago I rehoused my adult female obt, who is really spicy, and of course there was everything from threat posing to slapping and biting my brush. I said to my boyfriend "I'd love to see Dave deal with her" and he said "You know that she probably would just smoothly walk into her new enclosure with no issues" 😂 He's right, I still have some things to learn, especially patience. Thanks for teaching all of us! 😊
At dinner the other night here in LA a kid (well, he’s 20) was talking about spiders and I said he needed to check out your channel. “I’m a subscriber,” said he! You, Camera Lady, and your spiders are famous!
The enclosure she came in is called either a Faunarium or Kritter Keeper, several companies make these. I use them myself as they're light and still provide good viewing through the plastic. The tripepii gal is beautiful indeed ! No doubt she'll enjoy her new home. Stay safe and thanks for sharing :)
Awesome video Dave. Funny enough I have one of these cute tarantulas, also of Bethany too. They are indeed very beautiful I totally agree. I find my little one a good little spiderling, and even with the chance of burying, it doesn't. Anyway I loved this, thank you.
you always amaze me David.. I have tried to watch other videos about spiders but no one does it like you.. the others jump and are fearful and shy away the moment they push there spiders to hard.. While you stay calm and gentle and the spiders act more like beloved pets instead of wild things.. It is like they just know you are not a threat to them.. and even when they do display you calm them down and get them to do what you will.. Even Beth.. she makes me tense just watching her.... Well thanks as always for teaching me the right way to deal with spiders..
@@daveslittlebeasties This is true David.. But if you are learning you want to learn from the best. It is easier to learn how to do things correctly then to just learn how to do something and have to unlearn all the bad habits you had just learn from the beginning. I got a juvenile from the last show I was at there. It's dug a really long tunnel all the way around the perimeter of it's enclosure. Love how well she stands out under my LED lights when she's out, fast becoming one of my favourite
magical looking spider PROFF, another project starting off. great information on this spider .so cool and calm when moving her to her new enclosure. great vide CAMERA LADY. take care guys and many thanks
Hiya!!! Another great video! I learn so much from watching them. Good job Camera Lady! So the original container you had the T in is called a Kritter Keeper in my neck of the woods LOL! Have a great day!
I’m watching the re-homing videos. I really appreciate that you take your time and are so patient so as not to upset the spider if possible. Very interesting.
Great video as always dave, I love the Nandhu genus, got carapoensis, tripepi, chromatus and just picked up coloratovillosus which I've been after for ages.
Nice and gentle again and again well done you for showing how it's done, so many vids where people mistreating their Ts just for like's and subscribers. Thank you for being that one who shows us how to be that gentle with our hobby too, and camera lady if course.
That beastie room of yours is looking so good Dave, I love the look of what I think is either your Gigas or Phago's? Amazing webbing... Back On topic, this particular spider really is a pretty one, it looked as though it would have loved a scratch behind the ears she was so well behaved, such feathery looking hairs on her ... As always guys, great video and I look forward to whatever is next from D.L.B. 👍😃👍
Never heard of a Nhandu tripepii and never seen one. She is Quite inconspicuous but at the same time there so much going on color wise : ) For sure she is almost invisible in her natural habitat and doesn't necessarily need a tunnel to hide away 24/7.
