She’s a stunning specimen - certainly a spider you want to see proudly sat and showing off those incredible colours, rather than hidden away. It’s fascinating learning all the quirks to manipulating their behaviour with food, makes perfect sense; and what a cracking new home she’s got too - great filming, great narration and advice - makes it all so much more appealing when all the information required is presented at every stage of growth, you literally get the impression of the perfect support network regardless of which spiders you ultimately own. Brilliant, as ever guys. Thank you! 💙👍😉

Ok i say this a lot but that REALLY is a beautiful spider! : )
I like the way you "handle" these instinct driven creatures. Confident but calm, how it should be.
Because without going amok and being jumpy/hectic around them (or even destroying their tunnel for no reason),
one can quite precisely predict their behavior and/or next step. And you make perfect use of that.
Every beginner should try to get used to that style as early as possible since it makes live so much easier for
    everyone involved ; )
That was another gem of you two, and as always a pleasure to watch this evening.

Hello Dave and Camera Lady. I hope this finds you well. What a stunning girl! That blue is like neon! I look forward to seeing her as she puts on some size. Question for you. It seems that blue and purple are fairly common colors. Is there any reason behind the colors! Is the iridescence from scales like with butterflies? Perhaps a mating display? What do you think?🤔
Thank you again for a lovely video. Great start to the week as usual. I hope you both have a wonderful day. See you later this week. Take care and stay safe.🐇🌞🌎

Great video to wake up to this morning. My blue fang is, without a doubt my most colourful sling, and took me around 6 months to locate and buy before someone else pipped me to the post.
I've got my young sling in a small arboreal keeper for now, yes, I did my research and decided this was the best enclosure to house my fossorial sling to start with..... they have their substrate, and a small cork bark tube that is about 50/50 in the substrate and poking out the top. I then added more substrate in the corkbark so that my sling had much more depth to burrow, and, if I say so myself, s/he seams to be thriving. They've made a silk tunnel in the tube, but likes to come out at sit just outside the top of the corkbark when s/he wants food in the evenings, so I normally see them around 3 or 4 evenings a week.
Looking forward to a rehouse after their next moult!
Looking forward to the live with Scott tomorrow 😀🤩😁

Great video Dave! Never seen this spider, very nice. I recently caught and packed all my seven spiders. The H Pulchripes and OBT were easy! My five Balfouri wanted to be sprinters. One climbed up the wall after bolting out of the packing cup (while I closed up the other four), and wanted to fight my paint brush a bit when I got her down, then jumped away from the catch cup. She hurt her hind leg it seems. All other six were not so bad… Your packing video helped a lot.

Really enjoying your videos Dave, thank you. Only been watching for a couple of weeks and have to admit to knowing little about spiders but you are so well informed that I am starting to learn a little. No plans to own any spiders but love watching your videos.
