Just got my first N Tripepii sling last week and boy does s/he love to eat! I’m so happy to have this video to help me plan his/her future enclosures, thank you!!
I really enjoyed this video, I hope you do more of these care and husbandry videos in the future. I appreciate how in-depth it is about substrate, plants, seasons, etc. Many other sources don't cover that sort of information.
Love the channel man! Fantastic work keep it up already showed the channel to some friends that are into tarantulas they also love it. You got a loyal subscriber can't wait for more videos best regards from Poland!
Great video man Learned something i didn't know about humidity, everything i read before about the nc made it sound like they want a lot higher humidity. Mines not really been a big eater so ile try letting the enclosure dry out a little n maybe that might change.
Great vid and nice to see these species! (I've never seen this chapter break function [watched the whole vid through, anyway], but cool to know it exists.) The tripepii is definitely one of my top wanted species at the moment. Might have to pull the trigger soon.
Great video, I love how you set up the enclosures. It looks like a real piece of rainforrest, just stunning. Could you do a video on a detailed setup of a terrarium of that sort? Maybe make a series about the major differences of setups or something like that? Like a rainforrest terrarium, one that is on the arid side and maybe one in the middle, that would be awesome. I am not demanding just asking. :D Do you know if it is save in Germany to take some forrestsubstrate? Greetings
Brilliant video! When I was getting my first tarantula I thought about Nandu colloratovillosum, but went for Poecilotheria metallica instead. 15 years later & I still haven't got round to keeping any Nandu, but that may soon change!
I have a very old female N. Tripepii called Cleo and shes amazing! Very big, very fluffy and although she can be extremely fast when she wants to be, shes really sweet 💖 fab vid 👍👍👍
Really informative! Love how that substrate looks. What kind of substrate would you recommend for Lasiodora parahybana and Acanthoscurria geniculatas? I'm making bioactive setups for my ts so would like to know.
I have my chromatus for over a year now (she is about 4 years old) and she never kicked her hairs at me. she does always run right into her burrow when i open the doors though. she has molted twice since i have her and she is getting huge!!
Can someone help me out? I want to get a Nhnandu. Seller has these two. I find cromatus more pretty, but I have a geniculata and they are similar. Which to chose(not both)?
Oh yes, the N. chromatus is a striking beauty. But I'll wait till I have some more experience before I might get one. For the moment, I'm just comfy with the ones that like it a bit drier.
I'v' never had any problems with my NC. She's not overly aggressive (compared to 'hot' spiders like the T. Blondi or P. Murinus) or prone to fill her enclosure with urticating hairs. Worst in this respect was the Blondi I once had.
That Nando was so gentle, It was like "ooh a stick *tappy tappy tap*

Great video! I have an Acanthoscurria geniculata and I think I need to get one of the Nhandus as well.
that is a very cool chart that you have explaining the climate of that species , did you make it yourself ?
May I ask what substrate you use
a mix of different top soils and clay
Cheers
Can I ask if you hunt all your tarantulas??
they are all captive bred - we only take pictures and videos from the tarantulas we see in nature
Saludos puedes poner subtítulos en español tu canal es muy interesante gracias.

Thanks for the video! My nhandu coloratovillosus is just a sling and I hope to get a tripepii in the future.
Please make a video on how you set-up your enclosures step by step so that we can also have a nice and comfy enclosure for our pet tarantula. Thanks

What substrate mix do you use?
What set up do you use for heating so many enclosures?
N. chromatus are amazing. I can't wait till they grow up and I will try to breed them.

Phormictopus genus please

im surprised you didn't mention anything about chromatus leaving the genus and any guesses as to what genera you think it would be placed in
Nhandus are such underrated spiders
Next year I will get 3 Nhandu chromatus + a L. pyrihabana female and a C. versicolor female
That is awesome!
Oh yes, the N. chromatus is a striking beauty. But I'll wait till I have some more experience before I might get one. For the moment, I'm just comfy with the ones that like it a bit drier.
I have 3 of the 5, still tiny slings that i dont see at all. But hopefully they survive into adulthood.
OMG
