ADRIENE’S VEGGIE SOUP RECIPE
INGREDIENTS
1 chopped yellow onion
2-3 garlic cloves, finely minced
2-3 medium carrots, peeled and chopped into rounds
2 potatoes, peeled and diced
2 cups chopped fresh green beans
2 stalks of celery, diced
2 ears of corn, kernels removed
1 cup chopped kale
1 can diced tomatoes
2 quarts vegetable broth
Salt and pepper
Herbes de provence
Thyme
Olive oil
METHOD
Finely chop onion and garlic. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium-low heat. Once hot, add the onion and garlic. Season with salt, pepper, thyme, and herbes de provence, about a pinch each. Peel carrots and chop into rounds and add to pot.
Add diced tomatoes, corn, green beans, celery, potatoes, and vegetable broth and continue to cook, stirring occasionally. Finally, chop kale and stir into soup.
Bring to a simmer, and cook until vegetables are tender. Enjoy!
Adriene, please do more cooking vids. Love your crazy, happy, positive vibe!! :)

Veggie Soup for the Soul. Yoga With Adriene's back with a new recipe that'll taste as good as it'll make you feel!
Yummy
I grew up eating soups like this. We called it "Hobo Stew" cause you just put whatever you had in haha! I'm having a little stomach bug right now and this is exactly what I need. So healthy and comforting. It's crazy.
Sarah Charming Right? It's amazing what a little soup can do. Hope you feel better soon!
Ugh, Adrienne. You’re so cute please make more cooking videos!
Adriene is the absolute best. Namaste!
Just watching you have fun making it makes me happy cause each frame is filled with such fun!...and I bet that is delish!!!
I'm making the soup as right now. Wil let you know how it tastes.🐬👍
I just recently made my own soup for the first time and I was surprised how easy it was! This video inspired me to get started on some experimenting with vegetable soup :)
Looks yummy!!! You can also add cannellini or pinto beans to make it more hearty. A few questions: how long do you let the soup simmer? Should the potatoes be cooked a little before you throw them in? Should you throw the kale (or even spinach!! yummy) in the soup in the last five minutes of cooking?
I made your yogi tea and I love it. Thank you. Will make this soup soon.
Please, do more videos like this!!
I loved her, she's so cute! Making it all seem so easy and fun and not fancy at all (in a good way!).
YAY Adriene!! You are so beautiful and have such positive energy. I can't wait to try this recipe. Namaste! #FWFG
Adriene you've become my UA-cam yogi and now this soup? Just made it as I'm starting Clean Monday tomorrow (Greek Lent). Its a perfect food seeing I'm fasting from anything that has blood and a spine for 40 days. It's delishious! Thank you!
Adrienne you are the loveliest
love the sound effects lol....I do her yoga videos, I was excited to see this.
The soup looks divine
Thanks for the dinner inspiration. I just made this and it's cooking now. Can't wait to dig in!
OMG this looks amazing, I need to try this! And this is film unbelievably well, it's like a short movie haha ❤️🌿
Try a Mennonite Green Bean and Potato Soup.
Uses ham broth but you can use other broth or no broth.
Trim and cut fresh green beans. Put in pot if water. Add diced potatoes. Season with salt and pepper. Cook until almost tender. Add
The herb, savory. This is key to the incredible flavor! I use dried savory and use a tablespoon or 2 in a typical saucepan. Ham broth gives great flavor but green beans give good flavor, too. They add a little cream at the end, but it is not necessary.
Thank you Adriene 🧘🏼♀️
Your open-faced sandwich is so good. This looks like another winner!
Thanks Adriene! Twas super yummy and nutritious. Made it today! First time making soup for me hehe. Thanks again!

Wait a second. What happened to the potatoes? I didn't see when you threw them in in the video and the recipe in the description doesn't mention them ... ?
She must've just peeled them, and cubed them? :)
lovely and delicious.
When will we see another episode?
Yoga with adriene Chef Boyardee jack of all trades such a beautiful woman thank you very much teacher yours Sal🌹💝🌹
If I wanted to use frozen corn instead of fresh corn, how much corn would I use?

So it's not only my Trader Joes that double bags
You are so sweet..
Thats a big spoon...
I hate how our society has become so intolerant of any kind of criticism. Bullying is one thing but voicing a critical opinion is very different. This is not Adriene's own channel. She is part of Kin community. If you watch their other cooking videos the other cooks are professional chefs (Byron Talbot) or very competent home cooks (Entertaining with Beth for example). They have something to teach us. If this were Adriene's own channel, I would just leave as some of you have suggested. She has the right to do whatever she wants on her own channel. On a much larger, collaborative EDUCATIONAL channel, she is not the right choice for demonstrating cooking. Not everyone has to agree with this, but I have every right to let Kin know my opinion. That doesn't mean she isn't lovely or sweet or the video isn't well done.
Hi There, I absolutely love these videos. But, just some constructive criticism, please can you stop using single use plastics, it would be so nice to see such a huge roll model like yourself, using cloth bags and promoting a 'waste less' way of life. We need to take care of our planet so we can watch more of your awesome videos. ;) Thank you, with Love. xx
Is it really with you americans that you dont wash all your veggies before cooking? because usually after peeling everything you wash it off. Anyway js.
I prefer your experts, like Robert, this is too goofy and too simpie
She's lovely. As an apprehensive cook, I appreciate the simplicity here!
Before you judge you should try her recipes, they're really great! Try the tacos!
hops226 Those tacos are way more interesting and actually make me want to try them, must've been her yummy sound. I was disappointed in this one for a couple reasons: her knife work is dangerous and does not provide a teaching moment for those who are "apprehensive" about or new to cooking; and throwing veggies in a pot with a box of stock is so basic. As a clean eater, she should be making her own stock with all those vegetable scraps she throws away. She is cute, though.
roxyfur i think you just hate too much, she is not a professional cook, she just enjoys cooking...
Wow. Roxyfur......you are a hater and so so judgey. Let it go, friend. You will feel so much lighter and happier. Adriene is not a chef nor claims to be. Her intention, I believe, was to show us how easy it is to eat more healthy and clean. It would be counter productive if she were to put out a video on how it takes 1-3 hours to make your 'own stock'. Anyone could look that up and find it if they wanted to anyway. She is demonstrating how attainable it can be to eat more cleanly and you don't have to be a chef to do so. As for her knife skills... really??? C'mon. Just breathe. (I'm not being condescending) Do some yoga and get rid of the judgeiness. (not a word...I know) Take care.
I was not a huge fan of Adrienne's last cooking video. She seems like a very lovely person and she was great on camera. I'm just totally convinced she doesn't need to be on camera cooking. The way she was wielding that knife was scary. I was waiting for a finger to fly off. Also, again the "recipe" was incredibly uninspiring. She put veggies in a pot. There was absolutely nothing crazy or happy about that much less new or interesting. She also mentioned yoga so many times I kind of felt like she'd be better off doing yoga rather than trying to teach us how to badly cut up vegetables. Kin, you need to dump this series. You are wasting your money on this.
As if everyone on Kin is some kind of culinary expert? She's just sharing what she loves and what makes her feel good. Certainly there's nothing unhappy about eating your vegetables.. She never claimed to be a professional. I think this series is great because you have someone who is lovely and relatable.
Aedin is a. Good. Yoga teacher
Squisitissima Not everyone can cut vegetables like Gordon Ramsay. And this actually feels relatable, she may not be a chef but at least she can cook.
