    I'm super weak. I still can't close 1.0! Almost, but not quite.
    I'm not giving up though. I just ordered the Trainer and the 0.5. I'll have to work my way up to the 1.0. I"m not worried about getting there, as I can already almost close 1.0.

      If it makes you feel any better, i got calluses from the trainer and then sore for a few days lmao. Its been about a month now and im able to knock out 15 reps and i do a few sets throughout the day. Were at the same pace!

      @jontheoperator6007 I also do most of my grip training with a T. But I also bust out a few reps on my 0.5 and my 1.
      I've got a 1.5 and a 2 but I haven't opened them yet. Though I do feel I can close them at least once each.

      I don't really train specifically for it. Probably it's more a matter of genetics. I play soccer, tennis, table tennis. Very rarely I go to the gym. Or I make pull-ups in the park. You can try with the Nr 2, but doing 10 reps with #1 doesn't mean for sure you can close the #2.

    • @alan_fri
      @alan_fri Рік тому +1

      @@cumsafaci6836Thanks for the reply. Yeah , it seems genetics since you don't weightlift or do specific grip training. I plan on getting the coc #2 in a few weeks so then I will see. I can keep the coc fully closed for 23 sec do far maybe that indicates that I have a great chance at closing the #2

    I started with 2 and in a weeks time I've progressed but the 2nd week almost no progress. I'm like less than a cm away from closing it but I just don't know the best way to progress and the closer you are to closing it the harder it gets :D. I'm not much of a weight lifter, I went to the gym 3 months in a row and now I've paused for like a month almost is there anything I can do there to help me close the #2?

    • @dribbles2795
      @dribbles2795 Рік тому +2

      Try to only train 1-3 grip sessions a week, and get some chalk because it helps with consistency. i would recommend just trying 5-10 attempts with 5 minutes break between all of them so your grip can recover.

      Hello! You can try with a smaller CoC and do more and more reps. Also try to keep it closed for as many seconds you can. Another training would be pull ups or hanging on a bar. And remember to leave days for recovering.

      I always try to do grippers after some pull ups or curls or some forearm exercises to get a good pump in the arms. It helps me get a stronger grip. Wrist rollers help build up the forearms and give a good pump before trying max gripper attempts

      Yes, Jesse, I know that you have to close it from a credit card set if you want to be officially included in the respective grip closers. But the No 2 gripper is not included (not for men). This rule was included later on because there were people that were preclosing the grip with both hands until there was only one cm to go. So they wanted to avoid this, but a credit card seems too much as for many this means they can't grip it with the little finger at all. Anyway, I could close it also from a credit card (much harder) but that was before the quarantine :))

    • @generichuman_
      @generichuman_ 3 роки тому +13

      You have no idea what you're talking about. You can set the gripper with your other hand, you just have to make sure a credit card can fit between the handles when you close it... Also, there are different types of closes, CCS, TNS, block, deep set, etc. Maybe when you get past the trainer, we can take what you have to say seriously

    You set your grippers waaaaay too deep. None of your “reps” counted.
