Hey! Sure, I know people are finding it tough out there at the minute to find farm work. I still reccomend checking out the Facebook pages I mentioned in the video as I recently found work through those too. The hostel I did my farm work at are always trying people however there may be a few weeks wait before you can get in and do work. It was Innisfail Budget Backpackers. Check out their website and give them a call! Let me know if you need more help
Hey! I just called around a few working hostels and saw which one had the best deal for us, which had work straight away and things like that. Other than that everything explained in the video is still valid 😁
I am a Indian I have been in Dubai from last 1 year can I apply 462 work holidays visa from Dubai if I can do Could you please tell me what the process please
Hey Arjun! Yes you can, Indian nationals can apply for the visa if they are between 18 and 30 years old. You just need to meet the requirements and apply for the visa! Hello Justin, I will go for a Holiday this by middle of this year to Australia, on working Holiday visa.. can you help me find fruitpicking jobs in Australia?
Hey! That's great. I hope you have a wonderful time in Australia! If you follow the tips at the end of this video and visit some of the Facebook pages, you'll be able to find farmwork in no time!
I didn't do any consultation packages, just did it all myself. It''s simple enough to do it yourself. Just make sure everything's filled out right, you can find plenty of help on Facebook pages etc.
Hi Justin! Thanks so much for posting this video and explain to us your personal experience and sharing some tips 😊 I just got my WHV recently and planning to come to Australia next year! I have got some doubts though, as I'll start my Australian journey in the city (Eventually Brisbane) and start doing all the documentations/burocracy needed and also to chill a bit and understand better the environment where I'm at, and hopefully recover from the jet lag haha but I'm wondering.. how do you move mainly in Australia, or better, to the farm you'll be working at, if you don't have a car? Is pubblic transportation good in Australia or as you have shown us, you'll be carried from the hostel to the farm most of the time? I do have a driving license but it's been so long since I have driven last time.. let me know what you think about it, most of my friends owned a car but don't know if I'll be ready to get one. Thanks for your time!
Hi thanks for creating the video! After you arrived in Australia how long did it take for you to find the job? Also I hear it’s good to just hand out your resume and find a job, but how would you do it if you don’t own a car?
The farm Job was very easy to find. I just contacted some of the working hostels and went to the one which sounded the best. If you're going to be in a city looking for work then public transport is going to be your friend. You can get a lot of CV's handed out by walking around.
So easy! The hostel helped us out with all the paperwork, as long as you move to do any kind of farm work you qualify. I don't think it's a regional thing but I may be wrong. Doesn't have to be an approved company just approved work.
@@JustinBainbridgeYT Do you need to work in a different state first to qualify as "moving?" For instance if I simply fly into Melbourne and sort of meander my way up to Cairns but don't work along the way, would that still qualify as a relocation?
Hey! Here's the link to get started. You'll need to make an Aus immigration account and then apply for the visa! immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/getting-a-visa/visa-listing/work-holiday-417/first-working-holiday-417
Hi Ricardo, the hours varied a lot for me, mainly due to weather, I got anywhere from 20-35 hours per week, not great but at least I got my days done. The pay was around 400-600 per week after rent was paid
@@JustinBainbridgeYTHello Justin! Really nice video! I’m in Innisfail and I wanna know if you work less than 3 or 4 days, does that counts like a week of work? or you needed to stay for more than 88 days to complete all the days? Thank you!
@tagomago1121 generally with farwork if you work the same as a full time worker would've done. Then the shorter weeks still count as a full week. I had some 3 and 4 day weeks and everything was fine for my 2nd year Visa
Hey! I'm not too sure what you mean by this? The company I used for the farmwork was Innisfail Budget backpackers. I worked at Wadda plantation, is this the info you were wanting?
Not sure which Visa you would need for Australia, either a 417 or 462 depending on your age and then yes you can come work on a farm here! You can only work for the same employer for up to 6 months though so bare that in mind.
Firstly you need the appropriate working visa, most people go using a 417 or a 462 working holiday visa, depending on which country you are from. Once you get this through the Aus Immi website then you can go to Australia and find either a working hostel or a farm that will hire you! There are plenty in queensland!
Hey! Nope alot of these hostels provide transport to and from the farms. I just took a minibus from the hostel to the farm and back to the hostel. All was included in the hostel rent.

Hello Justin, did you apply for your TFN before you got your visa or after? Have a great day and thank you for the video!!

Hey, great video. Did you look for work before you got there? Or did you look after you arrived?
Hey! Thanks, looked after I arrived, just rang up a few of the hostels reccomended to me on Facebook and went with the best one!

Just phoned up some working hostels and asked for availability for work. There's quite a few in North Queensland that operate the same as this one 😀
Great Justin

The flats are owned by the hostel and we were offered the chance to move into one so we jumped at it!

No experience is needed. They will teach you everything you need to know!
