And I strongly suspect Aes was referring to El on his remix of BOSICO by Grimace Federation, albeit without dropping any names. And the opening shot, "You look like you were charmed out of a basket," is arguably the best way anyone's ever called anyone a snake.

And while we're at it, maybe Mr. LBoyd could also react to Saul Williams, Lucy Camp, Grieves, and f.k.a. twiggs.
Regarding Clipping, or Clppng, I am just now getting deep into their discography, and thus far, but for a handful of songs that incinerate the 'dissonance' envelope! (& could easily result in seizures for me), there are very few of their songs that I don't appreciate.
I also love 'Nothing is Safe', and I think my favorites might be the Stories.

Im loving the Aesop videos. Its what brought me to your channel in the first place. Aesop Rock and Immortal Technique single handedly changed my opinion on hip hop. When i was younger i hated "Rap" and only listened to Punk, really i hated anything that wasnt Punk. Due to these 2 artists i dove head first into hip hop now its one of my main genres. Labor Days (9-5ers anthem) is my favorite album of all time in any genre and is a perfect masterpiece imo.

Aesops best songs start off so slow. I think it weeds out the listeners that would really be able to appreciate what they're experiencing

I won't sit here for an hour suggesting a hundred more Aes songs, I'd just like more Aes, but I do see you're getting a few suggestions for "Daylight"....? Def don't do "Daylight" unless you're also gonna do "Nightlight" in the same video. The whole point is those two songs are structurally two sides of a coin, as it were. The bars are set up to mirror each other the whole way through and they reference each other as well. You can find a vid of both of those tracks on one vid here on youtube if you do wanna do the "Daylight/Nightlight" ride. But personally I'd rather you just listen to a different Aes song unless you're gonna do 'em one right after the other, otherwise the full effect will be diminished. Better off just picking a different Aes song where you can actually get the full effect (minus any album progression effects). That said, if you're willing to do the 9 mins for both of those songs together, that's def a high tier Aes track(s) to check out. Up to you

This is the deepest darkest song I know. And it takes having gone through that place of darkness to understand. Much much more then social anxiety. It's indescribable.. You don't seem to understand. You have to have been there within yourself to understand. This is a man crying. This song saved my life. Everyone said they understood. Nobody did. This song saved my life one night. The night it was sent to me. I knew I wasn't the only one. This is dark man... I thought I knew what depression was until I really found out what it was... Pocket full of pennies and a drain full of guilt... Played in my head for a while.. but I got better... I'm doing good now. You don't understand I'm sorry, not trying to judge..

@@sukimarmelaide4030 aesop rock, el P, Camu Tao, Cage, among a few other new york rappers were part of a crew known as "The Weathermen" and were all pretty good friends. Mu got lung cancer and died, when that happened Aesop Rock and El P stopped talking / collabing on music and neither have said why, but Aes has dropped a couple really subtle disses toward El P over the years. Everyone thinks its cause when Mu died El P used it to further his own career and Aes didn't like it, end of the day no one knows for sure except Aes and El P

      @@somedudeonyoutube1605 Dude. That is crazy.
Aw man, I really hope that El P hasn't played forward like that.
I really appreciate RTJ, but I tend to think Aesop is just generally a truth-teller.
I've always respected El P because of the time he's put into it. I honestly don't think he's even half the rapper that Aesop is, but then who is, really? Other than Eminem.
And Em writes his rhymes to be popular and accessible, even if he's writing triples and complex schemes, because straight up, he knows there are hip hop heads out there that will take their time to pull it all apart. If it's poetry versus poetry, again Aesop comes out on top.
And if you've been a fan of his for a minute, you know people think he is simply verbose and maybe smoking too much cannabis and then writing stream of consciousness nonsense.
All because they don't want to spend the time translating. They want their rap to be simpler, slower, easier.
Or maybe they all understand him just as well as we do, but just don't prefer him.
I thank you for your time. And truly appreciate the prompt response.
I hope you have a special, unforgettable day.
      Muchlove, suki
