Im thinking about getting guinea pigs, because I recently visited a friend’s house and their piggies are absolutely adorable! I was wondering about how to keep them entertained when I go to school and also how much I should feed them each day.
hey! i have 2 guinea pigs and i go to school as im 14. but as long as they have some toys they should be fine. as for the food get some pellets and fresh veggies, and of course some hay
Thank you for all of the great info you posted on foods that our little piggies can eat! I would like to ask if they can eat Clover, like the four-leaf kind? I have lots of it in my yard but have not picked any because I was unsure if it was safe. Any and all info will be greatly appreciated! Take care and GOD bless!
I'm glad you find the food videos helpful :) I think you might mean 3 leaved clover and yes, they can eat it but in moderation. In fact, there's a lot of wild foods you can feed your piggies - check out this page on our website: www.guineapiggles.com/foraging-free-food
What about pea flakes that are made from frozen peas? I defrost them, toast them, and then dry them in the sun, and our piggies have one every once in a while. Please answer!
Pea flakes are a good treat for guinea pigs as long as they don't eat frozen or defrosted peas. Once they've been dried I think they should be fine as this is a common and popular treat for piggies :)
A good video idea would be money saving tips, and diys for guinea pigs. Or doing a how much 1/2/3/4 guinea pig(s) cost a month. Or maybe a everything you need when bringing home guinea pigs. Taming tips, tips and tricks for owning guinea pigs in general. Just some ideas!
Fantastic ideas - I'll put these on my list! We've already done one taming video - you might like to check it out here ua-cam.com/video/gi8e_e5uSRU/v-deo.html
Is it ok for Guinea pigs to eat fruit and vegetables with the slightest bit of mold on it every so often because my mom and dad give my Guinea pig vegetables that have a bit of mild in it (not all the time. Only when they are getting rid of some of the food)
My Guineas love food pallets..I feed them by holding the pallet in my hands... but from a few days, one of the guinea is unable to cut/bite the pallet... Do u think there can be any issues? She is eating all other veggies n hay...but she isn't able to eat pallet, she keeps trying but it' doesn't break...the other one is still eating it properly... please suggest
I would suggest taking her to the vet for a check up. It might be that her teeth have overgrown. Overgrown teeth would make biting the pellets more difficult and it's something that needs to be fixed because it could stop her eating altogether. Definitely take her in and see what they say but here is a link to some info about piggy teeth that might be helpful www.guineapiggles.co.uk/article/guinea-pig-teeth
Yes, cold is fine but frozen is not :) You can find out more about what veggies and fruit they can have here www.guineapiggles.com/guinea-pig-food-chart/
They need unlimited hay - there must be hay in their cage at all times. One cup of fresh veggies and an eighth of a cup of guinea pig pellets a day. We have video all about the daily dietary needs here ua-cam.com/video/y70cfUdFcEs/v-deo.html
Brilliant! Don't forget we have lots more videos on our channel with loads of information that will help you learn how to care for your new guinea pigs :)

My sister once tried to feed my piggies a French fry WITH KETCHUP, and then called me cranky when I said no way!
Many children won't understand and they will think that what's delicious for them will be delicious for the piggies too. At least she knows now :D
Guinea Piggles my sister is 20
@@PiggieTime Haha!! I thought perhaps she was a little sister! :D

I’m so dramatic when I put my Guinea pigs in a pen outside a removed ever leaf and daisy in there and got scared because my might eat mud 😭
I'm scared right now because I fed my pet guinea pig a small piece of pickle, I'm praying nothing bad happens to my pet.
My guinea pig recently ate some chocolate but not a lot, what will happen to my guinea pig?
Is guinea pig color matter or no?
There lactose and tolerate
Im wondering how much and when to feed my piggies
