Getting guinea pigs? Or thinking about it? My new video on 15 things to know before getting guinea pigs gives some useful advice on guinea pig care, especially for new owners! Check it out here: ua-cam.com/video/s1KObmuLl5c/v-deo.html
I have one piggy only because. We found him in really bad condition and wanted to spend time with him so he can recover. I am going to get a nother piggy very soon🐿🐹🐹🦄
So.. first mistake was only getting one guinea pig. A really nice person on one of your videos explain to me no matter how much time you spend with your guinea pig it's not the same as having another guinea pig in the cage all the time. So I went back to the same breeder got another female. Within days you can see the change in my first guinea pig. She was happier, she ran around and played more. Even my husband was like they definitely need a friend.

at first i only got one but them i begged my mom to get another one because i thought he was lonely during the day when i have to go away and my guinea pig loves having a friend
Unfortunately the geniea pig I got did not like the other geniua pig that they were living with and they had a year to live with each other so now I'm trying to find another girl that she likes.
i bought my first guinea pig ever yesterday. i watched your video this morning and rushed to the store to get another one! napoleon and christopher were already cuddling within the first 10 minutes they were together. i'm so glad i came across your channel!!
I got a guinea pig that was put up for adoption because she was too "aggressive" with other guineas...yeah she was actually a male. Got him neutered and now he lives with my 2 girls and is so so so happy.
That happened to me too. I got a piggy and was told it was a he... Well he had babies. So my male got neutered. The male (Skunk) and female (FuzzyWuzzy) are still living happily together. The 2 babies are both males and I decided to keep them. So now I have gp's in different rooms.
I had a solo one for a while and felt guilty the entire time, I finally got him a friend and they look so happy together. UPDATE: Theyre getting another frieeend!

My guinea pig is currently a single guinea pig but that’s because my parents thought he would be ok with it. I taught them that we need to get another guinea pig and luckily I convinced them so he’s getting a friend very soon and I also convinced them to get a bigger cage so my guinea pig is going to be getting a 2x3 cage (it’s on it’s way) and a new friend 😊 Update: I got the new piggy. His name is Biscuit and they’re are best friends. My cage has updated to a 2x5 with a 2x2 loft so it’s way bigger then a small 2x3 and I can tell my piggies are way happier now
I started with two rescue piggies and when I was asked to take a third rescue I couldn't say no. From watching your videos and learning I know now that the cage they have is too small for 3. I have today given my dad the measurements for us to make our own DIY cage, inspired by yours Sarah! I cannot wait to get them into their new home 😍
My first pet was a guinea pig I named Squeaky 💜 I was 5 and it was the 80's, so people weren't as aware of their needs, and I was 5 so.... 😥 my mother clearly didn't research them bc Squeaky was the only piggie and had no herd, and that was only the first mistake she made. Squeaky lived alone in a small glass fish tank for her whole 5 years of life.I still feel bad that it happened even though it wasn't my fault. I loved her so much and I take some comfort in that I was very sweet to her and did the most I could for her, like spent a lot of time with her and try to find her treats. I'm just glad that people are becoming more aware and that I have a happy healthy herd now that I know better💜
I used to have a very small pet store cage but after watching some of your videos I convinced my mom to get a 12.5 square foot cage if I paid for it, thank you so much for making these videos
I’m a newbie convert to these adorable and engaging animals, and I’m spending loads of time learning as much as I can before I adopt my own in the next 12-18 months. As a young teen I had a couple of piggies that were garden hutch based and I can’t believe what I missed out on. It may be 30 odd years ago but I feel sad thinking about it. Thanks to vlogs like this, I can educate myself and be an awesome piggie adopter in the near future. Thank you, can’t wait to explore the channel fully!
My biggest mistakes that I made when I owned a guinea pig early in my life was buying a single Guinea pig with a small cage and not giving it a hutch to hide or sleep let's just say he was not a happy piggy and unfortunately he passed away a few months later but now im more educated I have 3 piggies in a very large Midwest cage with plenty to eat and two hutches and two tunnels
@@colbiewimer I do recommend that you get a guinea pig because they are so gentle and they're really loving creatures I have one myself and it is the best
Your videos have been incredibly informative - thanks.. I've had my two babies piggies now for 4 months and they are the best. Because of your info I have got so much out of them - they're my little furry friends ❤️
I accidentally bought a pregnant female from my local pet shop. I literally didn't know she was pregnant until she gave birth, I thought she was just a very big guinea pig. She had 4 babies and looking back on it I'm surprised she lived through the process and literally all of the babies turned out 100% okay. I gave all the guinea pigs away because only 1 of her babies was a female and I wasn't keeping them in a suitable environment then. The mother, who I kept, was alone for a while but I prioritized to upgrade her cage and get her new penmates. It was definitely stressful knowing guinea pigs can fight and injure themselves if they don't get along. But I'm so relieved that I did take the leap because I now have a 5x2 cage for my herd of 3 girls. They've changed my life so much and I'm always looking for new ways to improve their living and find fun new enrichment ideas.
When I was a kid I had a single piggy and kept him outside in a hutch :( but in those days (the 90's!) we didn't really know better. Now I do though and I make sure I pass on the info to anyone that is even thinking about getting a guinea pig so hopefully the message gets through about all of these issues. Videos like this are a great help and anyone who is genuinely interested in having any sort of pet really, should see these videos as an opportunity to learn and do their best by the animals :)
This video is so needed for a lot of people. Still to this day, It makes me so upset and angry that people still buy petstore cages, one guinea pigs and so much more. Even with videos like this out in the world, people still don’t know how to properly care for guinea pigs. I thank you again for being another fantastic UA-camr who puts videos out for people who need it. ❤️
The vet one hit hard. I had a guinea pig, and he ended up hiding his illness so long that by the time he showed signs of something being wrong it was far too late. I ended up having to put him down and it was the most heartbreaking thing I’ve ever had to do.
That was with us. She needed surgery after we got her into the vet and her infection had already progressed too much, that she passed the day after her surgery. We are still so heartbroken over it.
I got two guinea pigs for Christmas and they were older and one died and now my guinea pig is all alone and i want to get him a friend or two but what if they don't get along
My sister has a guinue pig and at the start i told her to get more then one but she insisted to only get one, and it shocked me how happy the guinue pig was with just my sister, it even squeals happily when she comes in a room!
I actually adopted two rescue piggies this spring! The girl ended up being pregnant, so now I got 4 cuties living the best life in their huge cozy cage. Actually out of the 17 piggies that were rescued, 15 were adopted by people in my village, and many of them got babies, so now like every third family here owns Guinea pigs and it's so lovely! Still it's so sad to see that someone just threw these little bundles of joy into the woods to die :(
Wow that's so cool! Piggie town! Yes, I really don't understand people who think it's okay to just dump animals, so sad. I'm glad your sweet piggies were saved though ❤
We've just lost one of our two sisters @5½ yrs. No signs of anything wrong. Just shocked to find her lifeless body in the back corner of their crate in the morning. What to do with an older piggy who is left all alone? She's the quiet, timid, reserved girl. Her sister was quite the opposite. It's a dilemma for us.
Awh I'm so sorry to hear you lost a piggie, sometimes they do pass suddenly with no warning. You could consider rescuing an older girl or neutered male to pair with her sister, or a baby if you wish to continue owning piggies in the long run. Otherwise give her extra love and attention - but ideally she will be bonded with another pig ❤
Nice video. Solid info. I was given my first ever guinea pigs less than a week ago. The owner moved away and left them with her mom who didn’t want them and grew tired of caring for them. They are so cute! I have been all over UA-cam learning everything I can so I can give them good care. Their old cage is much too small and I am looking into getting a nice bigger one very soon
Thank you so much for making this video. All the points you make in the video is spot on, and I hope that this video inspires people to make a change if they have done any of these mistakes. I have done alot of mistakes too when I got my first two guinea pigs when I was 16. At that age, I was so naive and thought that the pet shop workers actually had to know a lot about the animals they sold and wanted the best for them in order to work there, so unfortunately my two guinea pigs lived in a small pet store cage for maybe 5 or 6 months before I decided to look up guinea pig videos on youtube. And luckily I came across yours, Skinnypig1, Saskia and Little Adventures channel and after that I fixed all of my mistakes and I gave my guinea pigs the best life I could give them until they passed away 3-4 years ago. In 2019 i decided to get guinea pigs again and I now got 3 beautiful black sisters that I named Ester, Lydia and Tabita (names from the Bible) and they will be 2 years old in April. I rarely comment on UA-cam videos, but I just want to thank you for everything you have done for the guinea pig community. ❤️🐹
My guinea pigs had sensitive stomachs so they got bell aches when we fed them brocoli and cabbage. FYI we gave it in small amounts but they still got sick.. just thought it was worth mentioning 🤧
youre not alone with broccoli, there is some nutrients in broccoli that makes their stomach ache, and my piggies have the same reaction to broccoli, some types of lettuce, and too much carrot
I give them a little bit of kale and Romaine lettuce and one cut carrot, a slice of cucumber and a grape for breakfast and then for dinner I give them spring mix couple pieces oh bell pepper and a piece of Apple and all of the rest of the day and night they have their Timothy Hay and dry guinea pig food in a bowl to eat when they want to munch on something but I don't leave their breakfast plate or dinner plate in the cage more than a couple hours because I do not want bugs and the fruit and greens and vegetables get old quick. I have two guinea pigs but my female honey she doesn't like to be with other guinea pigs she wants her own space and she is about 4 years old I just got a boy that I was going to get fixed but he is 3 months old and I thought she would be happy but when I take them out of their cages for playtime he is not having it so I don't know what to do now any suggestions??
my teacher wouldn’t listen to me. she only got one she dosent feed her hey she said “it’s a treat she’s just fine” she got her a hampered ball she just said i didn’t know wtf i’m talking about
Love your videos! I would also add something about their nails getting too long (not trimming often enough) and not buying enough or the correct kind of hideaways. They love their hideaways and they will fight and squabble unnecessarily if there aren’t enough for each of them. Thanks for all of your videos!
I doubt you will avncer me but, where did you get this cushen 3:42 + the cardboard thing. And what was the name of the brand? I hope you reply. Love your vids! Keep doing what you love!
Awesome awesome little video! Well done! I just had a piggie given to me due to the past owner not being home for a few months, so i found him on fb! There is definitely alot more to caring for these little guys than I anticipated.........still looking forward to loving and adding "nutmeg" to our family!! Ty for your Advice!!
My huge mistake was getting one guinea pig, I still only have one and I'm working really hard to find him a best friend! Also a tiny cage, still working on that too but I'm getting close! Thank you for the tips by the way! There isn't really any guinea pig vets where I live so that's super helpful!
I agree, I think it truly depends on the piggy though, I had one by himself for a while because he was extremely mean to other piggies, constant rumbling, biting, nipping, food hogging. After 7 months I got him a partner he fully loved, finally. Had to have separate cages at night because I couldn’t supervise any bullying but they were in love. Best friends. Bonded. 4 years later, my grump passed… now my other piggy is by himself. I bought two new baby males, tried to pair them with him. They did really really good up until my two younger babies hit puberty… Even with big cages, huge, for 3+ rabbits (also I let them roam my room obviously.) but no, after puberty the fighting began. I even got bit separating them, due to another prior fight earlier that day… I did not want my piggies to get bit, I’d rather get bit, but it was very very bad, deep. Anyways, the younger pair is bonded, best friends and my other piggy is a loner now in his cage, he stays to himself mostly. I keep them in the same room to allow communication, but they don’t speak up to each other much only to chatter sadly, the younger pair just loves each other though. It sucks.
@@darvinreed2314 Fr guinea pigs are actually very territorial animals certain breeds are social not all of them they are only social with humans and will be fine alone if you treat them right.
I'm getting a guinea pig in a few weeks and know alot of people with 1 guinea pig and they seem completely happy and fine alone not every guinea pig needs to be bonded
1:10 my guinea pig was bought alone, and she was only alone for about 2 months, before she got a friend. after she got a friend, she became quieter, skittish, and didnt get along well. fast forward 4 years, tribe (her friend) passed away. i feel awful saying this but she became happier and more outgoing and not shy. 2:01 she speaks it all. my guinea pig really is a grump
My first error was getting only getting one but I kept telling my parents they needed a friend until I finally got another one and they both seem happy now :)
4:14 I really want to get my Guinea pig from a rescue center, but there are no rescues I can find and I fear of getting them from a pet shop do you have any tips on what I can do?
I got them from pet shops so they wouldn't be stuck in that small cage any longer, wanted some from breeders but had trouble finding breeders close to me
Please don't, I know it's very hard to leave those babies in the pet shop, but buying them encourages the shop to get more ): Instead, rob the pet shop (last sentence is a joke obviously)
I have guinea pigs one wouldn’t eat anymore so this really helped a lot because we used to feed them cabbages a lot so thank you ☺️! Also they don’t drink water. Is that normal? I need to know
Where does everyone get their fleeces from for bedding? We were told by the breeder that fleeces will smell after a while? How often should they be washed? Once a week? Thanks
One of my piggies I got as a baby and for a while she would run even if I walked by the cage let alone try and pet her and now she love being pet! She’s so good when being handled now.
If it wasnt for Guinea pig Emmy who died I would've never learned how to properly care. 😔 she's taught me so much, now my freinds Guinea pig care is bad so I've been making her stuff and recommended stuff to my freind, RIP Emmy 🙏
my piggies like green leaf lettuce. they used to like kale but my grocery store didn’t have it for a while so when we got it again they really disliked it
I just got one question what is that green stuff that you put at the bottom of the cage I am thanking about getting a guinea pig and I want to use a CNC cage so I'm trying to figure out what that green stuff is and if you need it
The leads and harnesses are good just for being outside with them - we have a lot of predatory birds and have had piggles bolt suddenly away from us - even though we’re sitting right next to them, they can move FAST. The harnesses are good just for an extra measure of protection, but definitely don’t expect to go for walks with them lol
8:20 my two guinea pigs are absolutely fine with sawdust even though sometimes it says it’s bad for them I’ve tried giving them fleeced floors but they hate it so I went back to sawdust.
I've been keeping piggies for years and my piggies have always been my whole life, but unfortunately my piggie right now absolutely Hates other guinea pigs so I just have the one currently. it absolutely breaks my heart because I previously had a trio of girls and I truly believe there is nothing more hilarious that putting food in the cage and watching them all come running at once. My girl right now is absolutely worth it though, she is definitely a grumpy pig, but shes beautiful and has a huge personality. I definitely made some of these mistakes with my first piggies, especially with the sawdust. I'd just been buying whatever I could find, and it wasnt until I had to take one of my girls to the vet for respiratory issues that I realized the sawdust wasn't dust free. problem was solved as soon as I switched to dust extracted!
Thank you for your comment! If there's a piggie rescue nearby "piggie dating" might be an option for your girl - otherwise yes there are some piggies who finding a companion for is very difficult!
We had two boys, the aggressive one suddenly died last November and the one still living seems happy. Also I believe he is blind, but when the cat is outside our guinea shuffles around the kitchen floor with me❤️🐹
@@tia4832 getting 2 makes is still okay. don’t avoid getting males because you think they will fight. males have a strict hierarchy and as long as it is established and respected the boys shouldn’t have any problems. boys are really friendly though it depends on their individualperaonality
@@tia4832 not necessarily. Only if they haven’t been socialized and introduced properly. They aren’t hamsters that are extremely territorial. Buying 2 babies at the same time, male or female, will grow together and understand each others cues. If your professional was any kind of pet shop employee or owner, do not listen to them. They don’t know what they’re talking about. All guinea pigs will nip at each other, it’s not fighting. And males 100% CAN and do get along. I’ve had multiple males together and they were very happy
Great vid 👍. Just got a couple of pigies for my daughter that stays with me at the weekends, so i look after them mostly and this vid was very good with helpfull tips, hopefully our pair of girls will settle down and will be as calm as yours are and wont keep scurrying away from me all the time when i walk past them lol 👍.
Thanks! That's so sweet, I'm sure you're gonna make a great pig-dad! I do have a few videos on taming and a new one coming in a few weeks so look out for those 😃
@@SqueakDreams We have watched a few of your vids now, very inspiring, so much so that we have upgraded from pet shop cage to big C & C cage now, fleece, hiddies and all, much cleaner than wood chips and gives them more room also 👍.
My first cage was a metal one for outside. It's a minimum size but I need to be able to move it around to mow the lawn. Second cage is an indoor one. Way too small and you would consider it a traveling cage. Which is OK as It's fine for vet visits and if I ever go on holiday. Thanks to you I've ordered a 2x5 C&C cage. It should arrive in a couple of days.
Omg I have 2 guinea pigs and I bought them in a Petco and I had to come back because one had an infection on its ear. When I bought the they recomend me a small cage with a plastic bottom that I still keep them in today, I feel so bad for my Guinea pigs. This cage that we have broke just a couple days ago and I was planning to buy the same kind of cage this video is so informational. THANK YOU! Oh and also what treats do you recomend for Guinea pigs and how to find a vet for Guinea pigs? I cant find one it's hard so candy you give some tips looking vets the treat Guinea pigs!
I work in a exotic animal shelter and today i have shared your videos with future guinea pigs adopters, so they can understand some things :) Thanks so much for your videos!!
I’m getting 2 guinea pigs soon from one of of are friends and I’m taking notes I’m meeting them soon and I may have to change some things about their habitat
I think that I have a too small cage rn but I’ve ordered a 4 by 2 cage of Kavee cage and it’s coming this week! I’m really excited for the guinea pigs bc one of them always gets the zombies (runs around really fast)🥰
Questions for you: Is it absolutely necessary to have a sitter for my piggies if I'm away a few days, a week-end? Also, can I install a small water fountain instead of glass water bottles to insure they have enough water for a couple days?
Saw u reccommended fleece lining. And i know they pee and poop a lot everywhere, how often do you change them? Silly question, you laundry and re-use them?
Ok I know she said pet shops aren’t good for getting guineas but I wanna she’d light on all the local pet shops! I found my pair at a local pet shop and when I went to get them the pet shop said they didn’t look well and they wanted to get them healthy before sending them to a home! So before you go hating on pet shops remember that’s only the big franchise pet shops!
Kinda agree I got my girlies from a pet shop and that shop was actually really great. First I wanted to get a male piggy as well but they informed me first thing that the one I liked had to be treated since he had an eye infection and he could not yet be brought home. They also had a great talk with me about bedding and they made sure to put a lot of the bedding from their enclosure in the shop into the box so they would feel safer on the way home. I still give props to that pet shop
all pet shops source their animals from breeding mills, where the animals are bred en masse in usually bad/small conditions, and aren't handled properly. breeding mills like this also don't care about breeding for good characteristics or health. a proper breeder who cares about their animals wouldnt give them to a pet shop to sell.
My Guinea pigs live outside in a large, spacious hutch but it is on two floors. In this vid she said you shouldn't. We have a thermal cover to make sure they don't get cold and they have lots of hay. Is this OK?
So my mom calls Guinness pigs “rodents” so basically the 2 pigs I have we are just holding them until someone gets them. But I really want to keep them they are adorable. That’s why I don’t own one but I’m trying to be nice to these 2 girl pigs
@@ii_clxudy1927 yup yup !! im definitely already spoiled her with treats i think 😭 and i've been trying to handle her every so often with pets as well lol
I've got 3 young boy guinipigs... They are indoor guinea pigs and they own an entire room in my home here lol... I'm getting 2 older boys tomorrow as a rescue... I have a fair idea about all the ins and outs of guiniapigs, so I shall be introducing them with great care... But I would really value your advise on what to do if by any chance they might fight with one or the other when I introduce them in a neutral space...
My uncle and aunt, got my cousin who's 16, guinea pigs and one of them died because she wasn't caring for them properly. So I decided to take the other little babe in, I work from home so I've got time to fully educate myself on piggies, and their care. I've looked up and down, for rescues and humane shelters that have pigs and nothing 😞 So I have no choice but to get the poor babe a friend from a pet shop. I'm quite nervous about it because I don't want the new piggy to be sick and get the other sick. 😞 Anyways I'm so glad I've found your channel you are amazing!
When you get the new piggy from the pet shop set up a cage for it in a separate room from the current piggy. Keep the new one in the cage for a week or two so then if the new piggy is sick then you can take it to the vet and it won't make the current one sick. It's good that you decided to take the piggy in and do the proper research! You can also look up quarantining a new guinea pig for more info. Just make sure when you get the new piggy that it is the same gender as the current one and that you introduce them properly.
@@saltinecracker7093 Thank you!! I lucked out and got a new girl we named her Ziti! I built a new habitat for them today and got them separated but they are doing well! Couldn't be happier!
I absolutely love your personality and your channel🙏🏼 I’ve had such a hard time today because my oldest piggies passed away in my lap this morning. It was natural but I’m still very devastated😥 I found her when I woke up on her way out, when I put her on my lap I could tell she felt loved and didn’t look sad anymore🙏🏼 I gave her pats until she passed. It’s very hard to deal with this
Hi Ryan - thank you, and thank you for always leaving kind comments on my videos, it definitely doesn't go unnoticed! I'm so sorry to hear you lost your sweet piggie this morning, it is so hard to have to say goodbye to our much loved fur babies when the time comes. I'm sure you gave her a wonderful life, focus on this and give your other pigs extra love and care to help you through ❤❤
I really enjoy your videos. I’m just starting my Guinea pig family. I haven’t gotten them yet. Still deciding on male or female. Where do you purchase your hay and pellet?
Is it only the non kiln pine bedding one you mentioned or all pine bedding? All the local stores are out of everything but that. We are going to pick up some fleece blankets for them and see how that goes.
Just got two guineas in a nice big indoors cage. We managed to get ours from a local independent pet shop that the owner and staff breed at home. They've both had a bit of a zoomies shesh last night so I'm not too worried about how they're settling in. Can't wait for them to be fully settled and a bit more interactive.
One question i was cleaning my guinea pigs bed with baby wipes and i also got like a guinea pig anti bacteria sprey but i dont know if baby wipes are toxic
i was 10, and i owned a guinea pig. yeah, only 1 sadly. she was in a very small cage, and i had no clue how to take care of her. now that i’m older , almost 4 years later my mum finally is letting me get 2-3 guinea pigs. there is no breeder, or rescues around me sadly. so i’ll have to get it from petsmart :( . i just ordered my c&c cage and it’s coming soon so i can start setting up to get them

I taught them that we need to get another guinea pig and luckily I convinced them so he’s getting a friend very soon and I also convinced them to get a bigger cage so my guinea pig is going to be getting a 2x3 cage (it’s on it’s way) and a new friend 😊
Update: I got the new piggy. His name is Biscuit and they’re are best friends. My cage has updated to a 2x5 with a 2x2 loft so it’s way bigger then a small 2x3 and I can tell my piggies are way happier now
Yeah I told my mum that she is thinking about it know

I started with two rescue piggies and when I was asked to take a third rescue I couldn't say no. From watching your videos and learning I know now that the cage they have is too small for 3. I have today given my dad the measurements for us to make our own DIY cage, inspired by yours Sarah! I cannot wait to get them into their new home 😍
That sounds amazing! Best of luck and well done rescuing 😍❤
Do they need vaccines?
I only have one guinea pig because my parents won’t let me get another, I’m hoping to get another for Christmas, I love your videos!

Awh thank you so much that means a lot! ❤ You have some lucky piggies there to have should a caring owner! 😄
guinea pigs are great
I accidentally bought a pregnant female from my local pet shop.
I really enjoy your vi. I'm 67 and have raised piggies for over 40 years and still learn from you
My parents don’t allow me to get 2 guinea pigs but my neighbor has a guinea pig and I go over to my neighbor every day so they can hang out! 😁
That is so sweet :D going the extra mile to have a happy piggy
I’ve started learning and am going to get a new cage
That moment when you find out you are already a bad owner and only had ur guinea pig for 3 days..

I got two guinea pigs for Christmas and they were older and one died and now my guinea pig is all alone and i want to get him a friend or two but what if they don't get along
Watching these videos has really helped me cope with the loss of my Guinea pig so thank you so much
My sister has a guinue pig and at the start i told her to get more then one but she insisted to only get one, and it shocked me how happy the guinue pig was with just my sister, it even squeals happily when she comes in a room!
I have 3 girl Guinea pigs that are 4 weeks old and there names are
Autumn 🍂

Lavender
Your videos are so great for helping me bond with my piggie cookie. Thanks so much and even better your easy on the eye. Win win
hi i love your videos and after a long time of begging my dad to get guinea pigs we finally got them
Nice video.
I adopted them
Thank you so much for making this video. ❤️🐹
Hi Camilla, thank you so much for your lovely comment, its made my day! I'm so glad mine and others videos have helped you over the years ❤
The other question I would like your opinion on is how to make the flees liners by hand (as I don't have a sewing machine) what do I need to buy
The one that stresses me out is people using human nail trimmers to cip piggy nails, just use a rodent nail trimmer, they are cheap on amazon.
I doubt you will avncer me but, where did you get this cushen 3:42 + the cardboard thing. And what was the name of the brand? I hope you reply. Love your vids! Keep doing what you love!

My guinea pig is 8. I find it would be more stressful to bond him than to just keep him alone. So that one does not apply to everyone
It sucks.
Ours is fine to that's bs science and someone's opinion
I need to know
I only have one because gus my piggie is aggressive like he hates other pigs but I still have another one who’s cage is right next to his
I always felt guilty only being able to have one piggie, and now after 3 years we got a new piggie and now they're like father and son!
Where does everyone get their fleeces from for bedding? We were told by the breeder that fleeces will smell after a while? How often should they be washed? Once a week? Thanks
That is so amazing to hear thank you for sharing! 😀

Well they can hurt their back is you are pulling them,or they at pulling it by themselves.
How do you clean the flece undelayer?
How often do you change it with fresh one?

@@tia4832 not necessarily. Only if they haven’t been socialized and introduced properly. They aren’t hamsters that are extremely territorial.
Kinda agree
I got my girlies from a pet shop and that shop was actually really great.
