enki appearance goes from creepy dude to yassified enlighted one in his ending
Another one Nas`hrah, New Gods must be scared
:)
Enki is so rad. He could become a god but he's like "nah, being nerd is cooler"
Reject god, read book instead
@@smoogieoogieReject Godhood, Embrace Enlightenment.
Bro's ego is too OP he even rejected ascension into a new god
Acutally, if you play the game you will know being a god in that universe is like a trap, you are caged for eternity and you will only get a title of god, but you will not a very god like dude, enlightment is the better option: inmortality and power while being free in the world.
kinda wild how Enki got the best ending (in my opinion). He was the only one really built to survive that place.
Fax!
Dude looked at the gods and said "Nah, I'mma Do My Own Thing". Bro was build for this.
i mean rag literally murders everything in the dungeon that isnt an old god or nash so hes more or less built for it more than enki
@@Burning_the_toastragnvaldr is built to purge the Dungeons, Enki's built to live in the darkness without ailment. Cahara's scrappy enough to get around in there, and D'arce just wants in and out with Le'garde in tow
He wouldn't have become what he did if it wasnt for Nosramus. So, hard to say "he was built for this place". If any one was, it was canonically Ragnvaldr.
@@tsonicboomplays9694 in short:
Ragnvaldr: Built to Purge the Dungeons.
Enki: Built to Live in the Dungeons.
Cahara: Built to Survive against the Dungeons.
D'arce: Doing her best.
All endings are canon except Cahara's. If you examine Cahara's ending it's implied that he feels like someone was watching him and he feels like "He could/should died" at the Dungeon. Meaning Ending A is his canon ending
Yea, there are evidences that other characters endings are More or less canoon, leaving Cahara as the only person who would carry the girl all the way to the bottom of The dungeon
The way I interpret that, is that its is Cahara subcounciusly dreaming about what would happen if he succed, while he is dying in ending A
@@DiscoveringOne damn, thats sad
@@mateogomez9758 yes and no, he is in my opinion the third luckiest, he die without suffering, and "living" a happy life.
@@mateogomez9758The god of fear and hunger knew his suffering and ended it for the greater good. It’s more symbolic than sad.
@@jaymatt6443 What about his wife tho? 😔
Ragnvaldr’s ending is so raw
Haha yeah he chooses violence all day
"To me violence is not an answer, but merely a question. Which answer is Y E S." Ragnvaldr, The God of Ultra-Violence
He become doomslayer
Raw strength!
“Rip and tear until it is done”

Enki: "They tried to put me on the cover of Vogue, but my legs were too long" 🎶💅
Cahara S ending being called literally "Happy ending" and him saying how he feels like he should have died really shows how his is the only non-canon S ending one of the four... instead being the brave soul to bring the girl to the depths and die for the A ending
There's still a way for his S ending to be canon...... The girl's mercy kill gave him a "happy" hallucination before his death. It also makes sense since wealth isn't enough to rise to become a noble as shown time and time again irl by merchants. And even if it was, why would someone so rich, so wealthy buy a crown at a price that was emough for cahara to reach a height where even the crumbs of his wealth had nobles scrambing over each other for. A king would've merely requested it and arbitrarily given some gold out. After all, not giving the king what he facied while kneeling was enough for even noble heads to roll back in the day. Let alone a lowly thief who was lucky to escape the dungeons.
@@Aaayyyeeee214probably both endings can be canon, just happens in different alternative timelines
@@Aaayyyeeee214 it’s a merchant, he buys the crown then probably resells it or something

Still can't believe D'arce's yandere, half-failed resurrection S ending is canon, lmao.
Haha yeah the timeline of Fear & Hunger is wild
@@Omni_World i just wander... when the ending refers to "the true god of fear & hunger" it's talking about le'garde or d'arce? :´D
Le'garde is a new god in termina so it's probably not cannon. He also acts diffrently
@@kreatywnynick9180 he has to be dead in his cell for Outlander's and Enkis endings to happen, so the only way he can be in termina is for knight to revive him

Ragnvaldr becoming Doom Guy
A perfect representation of how humanity reacts to facing the unknown and the horrors beyond our comprehension:
You destroy them (Ragnavaldr)
You break (D'arce)
You flee and are haunted by them (Cahara)
You dedicate your life to understanding them (Enki)
Yo, since this video’s themed around the S endings and some people are being wrong how they reach their conclusions, I’d like to be your lore nerd for how people believe the theory that D’arce, Enki and Ragnvaldr’s S endings and Cahara’s A ending are cannon, as well as an alternate theory I’ve heard less talked about that I think deserves some credit.
Enki S ending - The only one we can confirm to be indefinitely cannon. He rejects false god hood and reaches enlightenment. In the second game (FH2), we see he wrote the skin bibles including God of Fear and Hunger (GOFAH).
D’arce S ending - while not as concrete, many people believe this is the cannon ending because in FH2 if you use rot an Le’garde he will resemble the skinless version in this ending. As for how he became the yellow king which is in ending C, many believe afterwards he went on to ascend anyway despite his new form. I have heard an objection to this that I’ll address once I discuss the alternative theory.
Ragnvaldr S ending - In FH2 we see August who is a character heavily implied to be an ancestor of Ragnvaldr, due to their similarities in battle, sharing the same soul and similar skill trees, and August takes care of moonless in FH2 meaning she somehow got out of the dungeon. Therefore, Ragnvaldr escaped. There’s only three endings where he can escape. Ending E (where it’s implied the character couldn’t escape the dungeons either metaphorically or literally), C (which would contradict D’arce’s S ending if you believe that’s cannon) or S.
Cahara A ending - There’s literally no proof of this except for process of elimination. People will say stuff like “he has lock picking therefore he got the girl out of the cage” or “his backstory is similar to the girl” but that’s all superficial evidence because they don’t prove anything. This theory only makes Cahara take the girl because no one else’s ending would allow them to.
So with all that in mind, what’s this alternative theory I was talking about? Well, go into the reply section and see the comment since this one’s already long as is.
So Ragnvaldr’s S ending and Cahara’s A ending being cannon kind of hinge on D’arce’s S ending being cannon and thus causing process of elimination. But this other theory I heard from the New gods podcast states that instead of Le’garde becoming the yellow king after the S ending, he did it normally through the C ending, and the rot sprite in FH2 is a red herring, as well as saying there’s evidence against D’arce’s S ending being cannon. How?
Well you know the blight enemies in the void? Those are new god lizard men, the race that existed before humans took over in the FH universe (im being serious, it sounds crazy). The reason why they are skinless is because of the green hue ruining their skin.
So the theory is that Le’garde trying to control things through staying in the void eventually had his skin rot, similarly to the blights. Hence why he appears skinless with the rot spell in FH2.
Additionally, one can say his behaviour in FH2 doesn’t reflect that described after the S ending. The narrator states that you (D’arce, his lover of all people) examined his behaviour to be like a “bloodthirsty ghoul”. In FH2, his behaviour arguably doesn’t invoke that feeling. He’s a terrible human being, for sure, but he doesn’t go out of his way to be bloodthirsty. He even tries to spare Pav in their confrontation at the tower before Pav shoots him, and he attacks you in the bunker to stop you from getting to Logic.
What does this theory change? Well it means that only Enki’s S ending is confirmed, and at least one character had to do ending C, and at least one character doing ending A. Its still possible Ragnvaldr got a pseudo S ending, since in hard mode you never see what happens if Le’garde lives. We know as a party member, Rag decides not to kill Le’garde because of his supposed amnesia, so who knows how that would affect his other goal of destroying the monsters of the dungeon. Not to mention his blood line still hunts Le’garde in FH2, so what’s the difference? This also technically leaves Cahara and D’arces fate up to interpretation, where as we still know Enki and Rag lived somehow.
Still, either theory can be true, we won’t know unless we get further evidence from Miro.
Edit: also if you do ending A in FH2 as O’saa, Nas’hrah references dialogue that happens if he’s present with Le’garde at the golden throne, so yeah. I do think D’Arce S is more likely to be canon, but maybe this is a resident evil 1 situation where both C and D’Arce S are canon at same time somehow. Idk honestly. Also RIP to my comment’s heart
Also, GOFAH deez nuts.
Wow, thanks for writing all of this! It’s by far the best I’ve seen the endings explained and explored, and makes a lot of sense.
I especially like your take on Le’garde from F&H2 being the ending C version, because it never made sense to me the “bloodthirsty” version D’arce revived would be a calculated and tactical leader trying to have Logic be born.
I do think Ragnvaldr’s S ending is canon as with what you said about him and Moonless escaping and August being his descendent, and also that there aren’t many evil creatures in the world of F&H2 since Rag killed the ones in the dungeon and went on to hunt evil beings throughout the world.
Also, one thing I just thought of. What is the reason why Moonless is in Prehevil for the sequel? From what I’ve read and seen while playing, August isn’t from Prehevil, so it seems weird Moonless would be hanging out in the caves if she’s a family friend.
because le'garde happened to be in pre-hevil constructing the logic
so it makes sense that moonless and august traveled there to hunt le'garde down@@Omni_World
@@slysamuel5902Slight caveat to the reasoning of it not being D'Arce's S Ending that's canon-
She specifically refers to Legarde being a bloodthirsty ghoul in the context _of being a warlord._ What did the Yellow King cause in F&H2? _An international war._
Legarde was always the sort of person to use others to do his dirty work, and what D'Arce describes shows that holds true even in the ending where she revives him as a Ghoul.
If I remember correctly, Ragvaldr and Enki endings are somewhat canon, right?
Also, how do you get this endings?
Yes and D’arce’s too in some regards, but it’s less clear haha you have to fulfill certain conditions on Hard Mode to get them. It’s a hell of a pain, but the endings are really cool

my boy cahara cant have shit bro 😭😭
People say Cahara's A ending is the cannon one and maybe, but, why would he take the girl to the depts? For what purpose? Maybe im not so informed about the story and lore, could someone explain me?
I think most people pick that ending as the canon one because it fits his character and has a very bittersweet ending. We learn that cahara was going to become a father and took the job to provide for his family so to have him find the girl take care of her protect her like he would his own child in the end he dies and yet the god of fear and hunger almost comforts him (in its own way) it’s actually kinda sad but heartwarming
Its because we know in the 2 game that the god of fear and hunger exists and for that to happen someone had to take that girl to the depths(he took her there cause one of the god , Nilvan, told him to do so in exchange for her soul ). Now why cahara is because all the other 3 characters endings are canon and take place in different parts of the dungeon so that leaves only Cahara to do that job.
Miro implied that Cahara was the one who took the Girl to the Depths because "his absence tells a story too"
Who canonically killed Le'Garde? I thought it was supposed to be Rag, but I see some comments that it was the woman he had the Girl with? Is she important to the story? When I read that Le'Garde was Girl's father I couldn't help but wonder why there was so little information available regarding their relationship, and the mother.
So the person who kills Le'Garde is Nilvan, who is a new god who's part of the fellowship of New Gods found in Mahabre. The reason its probably Nilvan that kills legarde is because she slits his throat in the demo and ingame if you dont reach legarde in time his throat is slit in the same manner
Just an side, I think the city of Mahabre is intended to be pronounced like "macabre", or at least the name is based on/calling back to that word. Considering the macabre of the whole game y'know
Maybe the S ending is canon along with the A ending, the girl shows him mercy by giving him hallucinations of a better life after the dungeon.
I dont know if you have consider this... but... we really dont know what D'arce does after she resurrect Le Garde...
Le Garde doesn't care about her... most probably she could have died or gone crazy or get rejected after what she did...
And so... my headcannon is that D'arce took the girl with Nash'era to the abyss...
Enki ended up in the dungeon... Ragnaval goes out... Cahara goes out (with ptsd)... D'arce stays and sacrifies...
Why would she leave Le Garde? Maybe as a form on attonment? Maybe she made the promise to the new god??... The girl is the daughter of Le Garde afterall...
D'arce wanted Le Garde... The Ghoulish One is not him... she would realice that eventually, maybe sooner than we though...
enki really has that "YASSS QUEEN 💅" aura lol
Ragagagvalders ending is pretty cool
I love Guys ending…uh I mean Ragnahvaldr😂
I really wish D'arce got a better ending. Instead of developing, she goes down a dark path while following Le'garde.
I WANT TO EAT. Satiate my HUNGER NOW.... But. Im also scared 😨... Like the little kids in FNV from Bitter Springs... IM HUNGRY, IM THIRSTY, IM SLEEEEPY, AND IM SCARED 😰.... THOSE ARE TRUE FEELINGS I FEEL WHEN I PLAY THIS
I think none of the ending is canon tbh it's more about which end you believe to be Canon. And yes Termina have the king in yellow, god of fear and hunger but that doesn't mean it could be the same character
Outlander and priest endings HAVE to be canon tho, since Moonless, saved by Outlander, and the skin bible written by enki are there.
If those are canon then Knight also had to revive Griffith for him to be in termina, and that leaves Cahara, who died in the dungeons with the girl
Actually goated interpretation
