Minor correction for the early part about Olivia and Reila: If you talk to Olivia outside the train on day 2, she'll tell you her condition started at 15. Which is also the age they started university as seen in the NLU reconaissance report 2. So I guess it started in her last year of high school.
That's such an amazing take I never considered; my speculation was similar except the 3rd game would take place in a modern world much like ours where the internet has disassociated us and yet brought us closer together than ever before, and that the main characters/party would be internet friends that shared a forum group together and involve the dark web or something
hey, i think gro goroth tells that the gods are pure but humans tend to interpret them differently (like looking at a cylinder from different angles one will see cube, other one - circle) while logic is concept that is pure un human scale - every one 'sees' logic the same way, essentially making it a god visible to humans. that is particulary interesting thoughts, especially when you draw parallels with quantum world of function collapse and uncertainty, there seems to be no way to figure out true reality (see the pure god), but we still can make our own (logic)
Maaaan your video was awesome, that point about controlling the Old Gods through merging their "true forms" in everybody's mind by using Logic was magnific
My take on the vinushka part is that the body of that god died where prehevil later was built, this explains why her cultist and the giant are waiting for her there, also i think the kaiser needs to make logic in prehevil cause, even though nobody is absorbing the soul of vinushka, logic is probably powered by this body considering his power, which is also the reason why they are in a bunker, the body is underground
That's possible, but there isn't the kind of hard evidence I would expect. Nobody says Logic is using Vinushka, we don't see Vinushka underground or anything. We see hints of Vinushka but it's not enough for me.
I was under the impression that they needed the festival of terminia itself to bring Logic online - and something ab this being the third consecutive festival
Do you have any particular evidence for that? I get the idea, it does make sense, I just haven't seen anything in the game pointing to that conclusion. Where there is also evidence of things going the opposite way, that Rher showed up there afterwards to stop Logic. Which also can explain the three festivals. The first one was to stop Reila and the NLU from activating Logic. The second one was to stop the Bremen army from activating Logic. The third one is to stop you from activating Logic. So the alternative makes a lot of sense, and I think has more evidence, but I don't think the festival being required is completely out of the question. So if you have any evidence that'd be nice.
@@orangeposting I don’t have any evidence to really point to, I mostly just thought that the town was always special because of the festival going back in the far past . @@Yomoyin I mention during the video that I'm not sure why Prehevil was chosen. The Termina festival isn't only in Prehevil though. There's several mentions of it happening in various places. Though I guess the tower Per'kele stands on is interesting since if I remember right it's absolutely ancient. So, that is one interesting thing about Prehevil. But the reason I'm pretty sure Prehevil wasn't chosen intentionally for the festival is that it seems that Rher is there to stop Logic, not Logic built there to take advantage of Rher. Kaiser is unable to activate the telelectroscopes because of the festival. Surely he should have been ready for that if he chose that location specifically for the festival. The only theory I've come up with for why Kaiser wanted Logic to be made in the Eastern Union is that the Eastern Union is way bigger, so if they make a network all over the country connecting to Logic, then it would be absolutely massive from the start, instead of just being the size of the bremen empire. I believe there's a line saying Logic has connections going across the country. And of locations in the Eastern Union, Prehevil is the closest city to the Bremen Empire? Definitely the reason why the logic project is located in Prehevil is because of Rher, the green hue where the new gods ascend after sitting on the throne of Mahabre is actually the surface of the moon, and the moon is Rher. During the Festival, even if we don't see it, all of Prehevil is being affected by the green hue of Rher, which in turn causes a greater influence from the other Gods, a scenario similar to the dungeons. We do not have detailed information about All-mer's ascension. The girl ascended into the depths of the dungeon, inside the body of the God of the Depths because she absorbed his power. But for the new gods, ascension is literally rising to the moon, or put another way: rising high enough to leave the boundaries of our world. That power is what Logic needs, the artificial green that emanates from Logic when we win the fight and the same one to which we are transported to become part of the Machine God, that artificial green is a replica of Rher's green hue, it is even represented with the vacuum of space instead of the moon. This artificial version has the same power: elevating a human above his limits, but instead of becoming an individual being, the ascended are part of the collective consciousness of the machine God, the promised land according to Kaiser and Logic. That's why Logic is able to ascend underground, not by using the Rher's powers, but by replicating it to ascend with artificial green.
I think it makes sense for logic to be completely man made power i mean no wonder reher was geeking out so hard over this, but did so little to stop the girl in the first game (besides sending his goons on her)
I have this great theory that I have to put in words. Thinking logic is internet or something like a Borg collective might just be us missing the point, the forest for the trees to say
So, regarding as to why Prehival. The traces of the sulfur god are there, I think they are the catalyst this time just as how the girl took the traces of an old god. But the machine god is meant to be a man made god, not one born from other gods but rather born from men. I still think the artificial green light must be crafted from something and that something might be the sulfur god.
It's really easy to beat Logic before phase 2 starts. I struggled to get the footage of phase 2 Logic because just using a murky vial to destroy the cooling system would set her on fire and the fire alone is enough damage to take her health to 1 by the time phase 2 would start. It's also a common mistake (i made it too) to not realize that you're supposed to move on the green screen at the end. There's a falling animation but then you're supposed to press up and move towards the thing you see at the end.
6:49 Prehival just like the dungeon of fear and hunger in the first game is a place of power where the walls between worlds are tin that is why its a good place to create LOGIC and an artificial green that's my theory at least
That's not a bad idea. I do know Miro has said that normally the gods aren't actually that responsive but in the first game you're in the dungeons of fear and hunger, right near the traces of the god of the depths and Ma'habre, so the gods pay more attention. Whereas in the 2nd game there's less of an excuse. I mean Rher is there but it's no Ma'habre. But maybe there's some less clearly indicated thing about Prehevil that helps with that. Maybe the ancient many thousands of years old tower has something to do with it.
Yeah like the internet but a bunch of people are in it, and it's a god, and it has some level of control over reality. What exactly it does *is* a bit vague, but it is definitely *at least* the internet.

@@stevetv5739 no, Logic use everyone, she's seems like manipulating people and causes no individuality, you will actually see at the top of the green hue/artificial green the stack of humans
A simple connection you can draw is that Humans were by proxy creations of sylvian, who also created vinushka together with grogoroth. Since logic is a creation of humans, theres some connection of vinushka there, and perhaps its mimicking the evermoving state of it. I think logic is sort of a "fake god", which would make sense because she was created entirely by non gods, or like an offspring, conclusive thing to vinushka being the force of nature. Another interesting thing is that logics hair resembles that of dysmorphias skin being stretched into a "sun shape" or the janitors aswell, which may be a hint at the sulfur god (?) Who like logic, doesnt have any real influence and also has close ties to humanity. Very interesting and fun to theorize, im not very well versed in the lore so feel free to call me out tho! Lol
I don't think that connection is very good. I don't have a specific argument against it I just think it isn't very convincing. About the dysmorphia's head shape though, both Reila and Samarie have the radiating soul. And it is kind of like the sun with the spikes drawn around it shape. So I think it's more likely just similar because of that.
I really think that f a h 2 is a bridge, and is part of the great scheme, this game is inspired by berserk, and I really think there's a god of destiny, and he's trying to get the gods back in earth, the creation of the god of the fear and hunger and leggard becoming kaiser, all of that was needed to create logic, the new gods will perish if logic goes online and thats where the old gods come, and it makes me think about abellas ending where instead of looking power to get to the gods she instead use the human brain to reach them, logic is the same, kinda like an example that humanity is worth to have the old gods again, and if there is a 3 game, the god of destiny will apear, and the revenge of the newer gods will come(including all mer and F a H)
