Ending C-2 The Prophecy gives me heavy Berserk vibes in how it parallels how Griffith returns to Midland in a physical form to wage a war that he’s basically controlling like the writer of his own story and find his own kingdom.

The outlander becomes guts with moonless by his side destroying most of the darkness and then has a bloodline of warriors fight the darkness. That seems like a win to me and it’s a cannon ending like Enki

I have a headcanon ending called E-II where you actually managed to escape and you all lived as a happy but really traumatized family! I really wish you could leave with the little girl and give her a happy family, ONE THAT IS NOT OBSESED WITH GODHOOD.
Well, if you take the girl along with you, you can actually get that ending in C-II, where you live as a traumatized hermit family. Probably best ending for Cahara since with all the relics he found he could probably free his wife and adopt the girl.

This singles out Cahara as the probable unfortunate one to cause the birth of the God of Fear and Hunger (which is also in Termina). I don't think it was a random person who caused the creation of the Fear and Hunger God, I feel like it MUST have been one of the 4 main characters.

What I like is that for all intent and purpose, Enki became a far more humane, and grounded Nas'hrah. It wouldn't be surprising to me if there is ever a Fear and Hunger game where we get to meet him in the future. :)
No. The spirit of a god resides dormant inside of her. Thats why that ending loops to “escape?” The old gods are gone and no one ascended to become the next god, the world will probably descend into chaos.
Def one of the better ones but still bad in general, you either didnt even escape or have severe ptsd. Mostly bad because Le'garde killed all of Ragnvaldr's tribe to get to the dungeons, but it's not necessarily a bad ending, most of the endings have positives and negatives

All character's S endings are canon (which we know from Fear and Hunger 2: Termina) Cahara unfortunally ends up with the S ending. He was alone with the girl and was the one who bought her to the altar of darkness, where she turned into the God of fear and hunger. Ragnvaldr found the artefact he was searching. He lateron took moonless with him, and the miasma sword. He slaid all the monsters, which is why people in termina belive monsterd are only legends. Befor he passed away, he stabbed moonless with the miasma sword, so she would make sure nobody will ever get to wield this sword. Idk much about D'arce 's S ending and what changed in termina. And Enki simply spent eternity in the library and studied the older one's knowledge.
Probably late but Ending E basically mean that Your character manage to escape but for whatever reason you feel like you didn't escape at all, despite being outside and away from the dungeo, you can still feel the darkness as they watched over us The transition from outside back to dungeon with that guard mean that everything about you escaping the dungeon is a lie, it is if you can never ever escape the Fear and Hunger Dungeon at all For the "?" At the end of escape means Are we manage to escape the dungeon or are we still trapped or everything was a nightmare that you didn't know whatever you escape or trap

spend a good amount of time inside a torturous, unforgiving dungeon where you always have to fight to death and I guarantee you will NOT have a stronger beautiful mind filled with enlightenment
The dungeon is supernaturally attacking your mind through every second you stand inside it. Of course psychological scarring is pretty much guaranteed. This is Lovecraftian horror; things attacking your sanity is a staple of the genre.

You can kill multiple gods in a single play but certain Gods end the game once you kill it
The fights with the yellow king, gro-gorath, and funger are all game endings. All other gods are open season afaik.

spend a good amount of time inside a torturous, unforgiving dungeon where you always have to fight to death and I guarantee you will NOT have a stronger beautiful mind filled with enlightenment

The dungeon is supernaturally attacking your mind through every second you stand inside it. Of course psychological scarring is pretty much guaranteed. This is Lovecraftian horror; things attacking your sanity is a staple of the genre.
