My dream video however goes one (or two) steps further and presents similar material with respect to displacement - not just bump and normals. Ideally I'd like to not just generate displacement maps for a CC3 character, but be able to adjust them after the fact. Is there any way to move backwards, as in take a displacement that fits a low poly mesh and somehow tweak the displacement without adjusting the mesh?
This is like gold. Not a lot of videos show Maya/Mudbox/Unity interface, which is exactly what I've been looking for. Thanks!
