Love this! I often try to reduce my setup to 1 or 2 lights to improve the 'flow' of a shoot- I find tweaking 3-5 lights slows things down and often the model looses focus during these 'technical' moments- tradeoff of spontaneity and energy for perfect lighting... Vogue editorial- 3-6 lights- but sometimes simple rules...

ring light, and in this case, bigger is better, like dub's, not them ratchet 8"ring, well unless your shooting your hand or somethin' ha. Plus, based on your avatar your fine self will get the catch light in the eye...with the bigger ones..again is better.
I will also add that a large overhead is great too, like you could use all the time, its like me in that sense...flexible. Although true, but wasnt referring to that type, get your mind out my bedroom(😉), ANYWHO, I was reffering too adaptability, multi-functional, good for all occasions. Ya heard! Due to these current times, please dont take offense by my comments, they are only me apprecating the female form in all its splendor. PLus, if one where to try to "cancel" me, Good luck #1, #2 it would be hypocritical as it would be against my freedoms. 3rd. that type of poo-poo should be based on the persons intention. Again, Ms. Roxy this last little rant was not directed at you, I just fell down a rabbit hole, but I got out and wish you everlasting happiness and hope my widdle tips help. Stay smilin'!
