I don't get why, if you have a male friend in Hollywood, everyone thinks you're gay. Two guys from the same town move to a place where they have no friends, suddenly they're gay because they hangout and wrote an Oscar winning script. I'd love to see them do more stuff together.

I was lucky enough to be an extra on Jay and Silent Bob Reboot and Kevin is as great of a person as you could imagine. They say never meet your hero because you’d be disappointed, well not me sirs and mams he’s the nicest and so is Harley. Nothing but great positive vibes on set and having fun. Thanks for the memories Kev👍

This is one of my peeves as well. Nothing worse than unbalanced highs and lows. I had to crank my volume up thrice on this video.

Tyler Smith it's one of Kevin's usual passive aggressive attacks on someone he's worked with. The stories usually start with something negative about the person followed by praise/mention of the persons achievement(s) and a self deprecating comment. No hate on kevin, I love listening to him tell stories, his early movies,his podcasts,etc but he seems to have a little bit of a chip on his shoulder from not being cool in high school or some shit.

The Oscars have always looked down on comedy. I don't necessarily think Kevin's films are Oscar worthy, but comedy has it's own place. It's nice to have some funny ha-ha when you need a pick-me-up instead of some two hour drama bullshit.

I don't know if folks are just tuning in, but the two are friends and Smith has been busting Affleck's balls for YEARS. It's all in good fun and never gets old.
There's no resentment. If you think so then you need to listen to Kevin's podcasts more often.
This isn't a new story. Kevin told this story on the first Evening With Kevin Smith (the first one I think but I could be wrong) and that was from the early 2000's. He said it in the exact same tone as this. No resentment, it's just a funny story.
