so you still need to clutch in off 1st and shifting down right?
You can shift 1st to 2nd clutchless but high chance of hitting neutral rather than second so I use clutch for 1st to 2nd and down shifts
Hi bud what are your kill times I have a healtec and doesn't pop like this on my r6 carbed
Hi, so did I get this right? It‘s a RJ03 with carbs, and the quickshifter works? I only read it works with injected engines. I‘m about to buy a 1999 R6 rj03 and I would like to fit a quickshifter. So it does work good?
Hi yes but over here it’s known as the 5eb but I am sure our 5eb and 5mt models are the same as what you know as the RJ03 and yes the quick shifter works, it cuts the ignition for a split second allowing you to shift up without using the clutch, I have only tested it on road use but will be taking the R6 over to Isle of Man for TT this year again so will get to try it out while giving it some

@nicolasp3034 if you are a little mechanically minded yes you can fit it your self it is literally just 3 wires and a sensor that fits to the shift lever to sense when you are shifting up then all the fine tuning and final setup is done via an app on your phone
@@R6_Monkey sounds good. I do all kind of stuff on my cars and bikes myself, so I gues this should be find. Which exact kit did you fit? Do you have a link or so? Google puts out a few different sets
The kit you need is the iQSE-2 with the QSH-CKP wiring loom if you google those part numbers it should come up depending where you are located
I don’t have that particular one but have a ecu based QS on my bike and never going back to pure manual shift again. Only con with mine is I do have to hand shift 1st to 2nd, but after that it’s all qs. I did think of getting auto blip/downshift but all very pricey but I think that is better for track day regulars which I’d love to do but can’t.

Hi mate. Just about to be fitting one of these to my r6. But I have no instructions.
Can you help me out.
It’s the first time I’ve had one of these which doesn’t plug straight in to the coils.
Do the 2 green wires splice in to the wires that go in to the ignition/timing cover.

Fantastic mate. The quickshifter and autoblipper is one of my favourite purchases ever for the big twin. It’s the pop that gets ye ain’t it 😎👌🏼🏍 I could listen te that r6 all day 👌🏼😎
