Breaks my heart to see how the last few years have ravaged him.
    Here he is so vibrant.
His long illness has hurt him physically. But his much welcomed new video proved that his wonderful mind is still dishing out delicious, unique perspectives on the state if humankind.
Praying daily for Jordan’s total recovery.
Thank you for your wisdom and sacrifice to inform.

Yes he is better. Complicated bunch of issues. He has acknowledged lifelong immune system issues he's treating with carnivore diet; anxiety and depression following his sudden fame and left’s demonization of him, then he was treated with benzodiazepines to which he horrible reaction to point of addiction, detox, and a long coma like condition treated overseas. Still he managed to write “Beyond Order” at that time. And weathered his wife’s severe illness.
It is both heartbreaking and inspiring to hear him talk of his daily routine just to be able to cope with the remaining symptoms of the benzos: including a 10 mile walk daily. He was saying at first he could work only 4 hours a day. But he has pushed himself and is noticeably stronger, work having been the best medicine evidently.
He is an amazing role model.

I have seen almost everything Peterson puts online. I have to say that this interview captures the highlights of his lectures exceptionally well. I love listening to Peterson telling stories by quoting the bible, the great philosophers and psychologists. The way he manages to put such new insights and narratives to the stories we thought we knew, is nothing less than amazing and inspiring. Finding that the underlying philosophy of his teaching applies to almost every discipline including economics is also testament to his distillation of the rules of engagement in a meaningful life.

You know how some people will say someone has a voice so soothing they can listen to them read the phone book to them...well with Peterson I can listen to him talk regardless of the topic and regardless of the point I start watching. He has an ability to grab a hold of you with words and just make you sit still and listen until the end...and then want more. If I could be one tenth as articulate, well spoken, and as smart as him I could only imagine the outcomes...and that's his power because he makes me want to be that.

we'll see about how well that "fixes" him. if you eat only meat. . . you get only meat. . . there are about 1000 nutritional needs he's missing and years from now when he's literally a skeleton and his body has eaten itself away trying to get nutritional value out of just beef and salt will catch up to them both and kill them. sure, his joints don't hurt, and his rashes are gone, whatever...there's going to be a price to pay for short term relief of symptoms his body is screaming he addresses , and all he's doing is putting blinders around the problem....when people sailed a ship, they didn't just stock up on meat and sail into the sea.....those that did died of scurvy ...and had no idea why...well, same here, he got rid of a rash , at the expense of his health...which is crashing....wonder why? well you get out of your body what you put in....and he put nothing in

The state created a moral hazard by backing those mortgages in the first place. The history of this kind of central planning goes back decades, but it's the same general idea. It was the idea that "everyone should own a home", CLEARLY not, clearly some people are incapable of even taking care of themselves nevermind a piece of property. Now as for what should be done about that, that is another discussion entirely, but I can tell you the answer is definitely NOT more social engineering by the state.

why would you liquidate gold? everything else, other than survival supplies, will be worthless. Leave the gold buried, until things get somewhat normalized. Start small, using dead drops. As people prove themselves to be trustworthy, bigger transactions can be feasible. But it will take years, maybe even decades. There are no magic answers.
