Could you make full cover tips for people with long nail beds? I can never wear almond or coffin shape with full cover tips because they start to curve up too high so my natural nail pokes out the side 😂I can't have acrylic because of my job.
You have way more in salon service than me, but one tip I learned in school to do color blocking was filing the sides in between shapes before adding the next color. That gets uber crisp lines. Similarly to how you do the nail bed first in a french, then file that smile line and add color after. We also used dental floss picks instead of a razor blade or a designate curved acrylic shape cutter. Love this design though. Giving me very modern spring Mondrian vibes
Some suggestions for your new acrylic colors are : Blue Moon, Mellow Yellow, Purple Haze, Popsicle Orange, Limeade and Passion Pink. Thanks for all the wonderful free tutorial you provide for us to enjoy. I could watch you every day ! I have learned so much form your videos. Thanks to cameraman for all his hard work and impute on your progress. Love you guys fun interaction!
1) I will not rest until I’ve seen you give this mani to Cameraman 2) I LOVE that you show us your learning curve. It’s so easy to be hard on ourselves when our results aren’t perfect the first time. It’s so nice to see a person showing something realistic.
These neons remind me of fruity summer desserts! How about blueberry cheesecake, strawberry shortcake, key lime pie, lemon meringue, grape sherbet, and creamsicle? YUM! They look amazing !
Limoncello (yellow), Patent Pumps (Pink), Lime Chaser (green), Electricity (blue), Superberry (purple), and Pool Floatie (Orange) ❤ love the shades and the geometric design turned out awesome! It reminds me of Venice Beach, so vibrant!
Susie, you continue to be my anchor in the nail world. No one encourages me to do nails-anything with my nails-more than you. You’re the best. Warm wishes from Minnesota!
Love the bright colors together! That first square pink bead as you were shaping it reminded me of that gum from long ago called Chiklets lol. Gorgeous set! I could totally wear this set on my own fingers.
OoooOo!! Very nice job, i love it!! You could also put thin black lines to seperate the colors. Super excited for my order to be in tomorrow Suzie! I should do an unboxing video for you, and maybe a product review❤❤❤
Was looking forward to this video. My mind was just racing as you were placing your design. I was thinking black between the colours to look stained glass. Was also thinking of trying this with your sparkly spring acrylics. Or intermixing them with white. Omg it’s endless. I think I will be Practicing in my fake hand to see what I come up with. Putting in my order for your new collection today. Very informative and challenging. ❤
Ahhh your additional ideas got my brain going and now I kinda wanna see (or do?) a set of nails with Piet Mondrian vibes--the art pieces with the bold primary colored blocks with black borders. Replicating those pieces might actually be a sort of easy mode for practicing this technique?
@@nixand_brennt let me know how it goes. I have ordered this collection but I think I will play with what I have to see what I can come up with. Good luck 😉
I like this set. I thought you were going to file the colors down then cap with a clear bead to have a solid top for strength, that way you can build up the apex without worrying about the design.
6:26 _Cameraman!_ Haha, that was cute & funny how you called him on that 😊 We're always up for seeing you work on Cameraman's nails! Oh and Grant too! His nails are less wide, and he'd possibly like them shorter, but I think the brightness of the colours & wackiness of the design is something he'd *totally rock!!* Love your videos, they are a joy ❤
Suzie, I'm curious - does placing lots of little blocks of acrylic together rather than just building the extension with one or two continuous beads impact the strength of the nail at all or is it all good as long as acrylic is touching acrylic? I'm a hard gel girl and am just amazed that you don't have to do this on top of an already built extension!
Oh, I love these. So Unique style. I would love them blue, pink, purple with black. How would you do a fill? Those need to be on as long to get a great set that are so different. Love your new colors 🧡💛💚💙💓💜 plus 🖤😊
Some names for the amazing colors in your acrylic collection would be, Luscious lemon, keylime pie, outrageous orange, pretty in pink, gorgeous grape, bold blueberry. These are my suggestions. Thanks for all the amazing videos you share i thoroughly enjoy watching you.
The Yellow definitely reminds me of a Banana Cream Pie Moon Pie for sure!!!! All are absolutely gorgeous colors for sure❤❤❤ Beautiful work as always!!!!
This was a fun request, love the suggestions people have made for your new products! How about Suzie’s Simmering Sunset, Synthesized Cerulean, Popping Purple, Grab Me Green, Passionately Pink and Yahoo Yellow. Love your video’s, they are awesome💜🌼
Wow Susie, I have been watching your videos for awhile now. This is the first time I’ve ever caught one only 12 hours in. This maybe the next new trend. Geometrical, kool.
I love seeing you try new techniques! You've always inspired me ,but it is very inspiring as a new nail tech to see the pros go through that thought process ❤😊
Kiwi green? That’s the only one I can think of a suggestion for but it really looks to me like the color of inside a kiwi. Seeing it after the top coat though it’s much more of a neon
Neon Name Ideas: Yellow = Bumble Bee Banana, Orange = Manic Mango, Blue = Sapphire Sea Shells, Pink = Fancy Flamingos, Green = Pistachio Pickles, Purple = Violet Vibes. This set is awesome!!! Thank you for being the awesome educator that you are Suzie.. and you too camera man!!
Hi Suzie, I am a total Newby to your channel & what I have seen today I really do think you are being to harsh on yourself I thought your nails looked really lovely 👍 I would name your colours happy summer rainbow colour choice thanks for sharing ✨
I saw the thumbnail and was excited to see your take on the new Holo Taco colors just released a day or so ago! My bad! But great work! So creative and very avant-garde nail art! While watching Christine's live release I was wondering what your take on it would be.... and here it is! I swear, the (literal) color block(ing) takes me back... to the land of banana clips and cone-shaped ponytail clips and jelly shoes!
Hi Suzie❤❤ Love watching and learning with you from Sydney Australia. I have a name for your gorgeous new collection (acrylic powders) how does Sienna orange sound ❤❤❤ Look forward to your next tutorial. Krissy Rose❤❤
Wow, Suzie, you’ve outdone yourself! If I tried that, I’d need to use poly gel. I seem to be allergic to monomer. Honestly, if I were rich, I’d fly to Canada and pay you to do that no technique on my nails!
Very interesting... a lot of work went into that nail set creation... its great that you did some creative work for yourself Suzie as you been working really hard in recent months on all your new products!!! I have sent in my suggested names for your neon color range via IG... I went with names of Cocktails as these remind me of your time in Hawaii a few years ago for your nieces wedding & Cocktails & Beachy vibes go hand in hand in my books😎🍹🍸🥤
Hey again! I have another question for you. I’ve gotten pretty brittle nails at the moment, are nail strengthening or hardening polishes safe and even effective for me to use? Maybe just to let my nails rest from acrylic. I love your new collection! I can’t wait to get in your low smelling monomer in, as I work i a small space and it gives me a headache
Hi Suzie! Here is my suggestion for your new neon acrylic powder collection: THE VICTORIA VOLTAGE COLLECTION, consisting of: - Tea at the Empress Pink; - Pacific Sunset Orange; - Saanich Sound Sunshine Yellow; - Butchart Gardens Green; - Inner Harbour Blue; and - Parliament House Purple.
Suzie, your kitties are asking for a mani and pedi 😂🤣😂 just look at your videos with them jumping on your chair, putting their little precious paws on you saying “ here momma my nails need some TKC” Lol 😅😺😻
Would using black gel to outline each shape hide any imperfections and make it "pop" more? Purple passion for naming the purple powder. Blue dream, summer rays for yellow.
🍉 noticed the initial pink square with the green - and omg I want to see you use this technique to make the absolute melon design 😱 don't use black for the seeds - use chocolate brown 😋 pliis! Been following you for a decade - I know you can do this! Lots of love from Denmark 🇩🇰🇨🇦🇬🇱 🤗 (and Greenland. I'm half Inuit, born in Greenland - howdie, beloved neighbour)
This would look amazing if you outlined it with thin black lines! It would be more like a comic-graphic look but it may also help with hiding the little mistakes while learning at the same time ❤
These colors make me think of sherbert or saltwater taffy. Suzie's summer Sherbert or Suzie's Taffy. So beautiful and bright. Love the new colors. One Love ✌🏼❤ 🧡 💛 💚 💙 💜 🖤
Help me name my new Neon Acrylic Powder Collection
bit.ly/NCE-Neon-Collection-Beach-Vibes2-Acrylic
I’d like to get Barbie for the pink one and you could do the rest the rest of the Barbie cast lol
Orange : Carrot Cake
Pink: Candy Floss
Yellow: Sun-a-Colada
Green: Lime Key Pie
Purple: Plum Juice
Blue: Whale
Pink- Fandango
Yellow- Splice
Green- Northern lights
Purple- Diva
Blue- forget-me-not

How about names ref. Partridge Family? pair with the nail art patern
Has Suzie ever done nails inspired by stained glass? These ones remind me of art glass in a way.
I was just coming here to say that!! Different color combo, and some dark lines between them, and maybe ... ?? I think it's worth a try.

Yes to Valerie B and Yes to this design. I LOVE IT!!
Off topic, but I just realized you look so much like a younger Valerie Bertinelli
Thats exactly who she reminds me of too.
This!! I kept forgetting the actress's name, I just kept thinking: one of the leading ladies on Hot In Cleveland, the sweet one! 😅
I think this every time!
THAT'S what it is!!!😂
YESSSS!!👍👍👍

For your 1st time, they look fantastic. I love these colors. My favorite colors are Neon orange & Yellow.

I love this! I would go a little further and add very thin black or white lines to create a bit of a plaid look. Those colors are gorgeous!
Hi Suzie,
Some more names for your collection, Sapphire blue, fuschia pink .
❤❤❤ Krissy
Love the bright colors together! That first square pink bead as you were shaping it reminded me of that gum from long ago called Chiklets lol. Gorgeous set! I could totally wear this set on my own fingers.
You're new technique could be called, "patchwork" ☺️💅 love the vibrant colors!!
I love the boldness, and I love the colors!
Could outline the squares to fix up any corners with a black gel paint. Sure did look like a lot of work. Great job. 👏👏
I like color blocking, anything! Nails, clothes, shoes, etc... Looks great!
This makes me think of tetris! you could do tetris block shapes and then put the lines on with nail polish!
Ooh this is neat!
omg that's what I thought as well!
I think that's what makes you such a great Nail Tech you are always willing to step out of your comfort zone and try things he's never done before.❤
Hey Suzie I love your new nail colour’s and I think you should try them on your friend Grant ❤
I liked the parts you called mishaps. I think they blended well. I wondered how a matte coat would look. You did great.
I don't see the flaws, I see a beautiful set of nails. Nothing in this world is perfect. Nice job!!
A work of art! Love the bright colours!
I’m in love wth the orange & the pink oooohhhh and the green& blue & yellow and purple! 😂😂😂 all those colors are so gorgeous!
OoooOo!! Very nice job, i love it!! You could also put thin black lines to seperate the colors.

you could use gel liners to straighten out the lines, esp for the black and white set it would probably work great
Totally
It would look really cool like a neon stained glass
Some suggestion: Deep sea blue, lemonade yellow, juicy orange, tropical green or sourgrape green, party pink, night sky purple.
I like this set. I thought you were going to file the colors down then cap with a clear bead to have a solid top for strength, that way you can build up the apex without worrying about the design.

A Mondrian masterpiece!! Bravo! 🙂
You did an AMAZING job on these! The skill and control you have on the acrylic is so so good!

You could file each square after it sets up to get crisp edges that may help make all the edges crisp 😊
Gorgeous nail designs!!!😮🎉❤
I liked them a lot, they are very pop art 😍 I think with short nails would look nice too but may be more difficult
I love this set Suzie, well done and thank you so much for sharing with us.
Dipping the knife in acrylic powder each time before helps prevent sticking
Omg .this is my favourite set from you .they are beautiful. I love them ❤❤xx
I love these nails! Reminds me of thrifting, so fun and funky.
These are beautiful...i wouls love to try this set but thata prerty ambitious for me. Maybe a couple accent nails to start...but wow. ❤❤

LOVE yr names ❤️
Kiwi green? That’s the only one I can think of a suggestion for but it really looks to me like the color of inside a kiwi. Seeing it after the top coat though it’s much more of a neon
I love that design.

ooooh, you could also add thin black layers around each block. Guess painted line would be faster though.
Piet Mondrian ( Dutch painter) nails. They look great. Wonder if it's possible to do with gellac. Maybe even easier❤

How would you do this with polygel? Cure each color as you lay them down? Or?
Would using black gel to outline each shape hide any imperfections and make it "pop" more?
Purple passion for naming the purple powder. Blue dream, summer rays for yellow.
They're beautiful to me. Index finger my fav
