I love to watch you sculpt nails, Suzie. You may not know this but you have helped many, like me, cope with depression by being your wonderful self, talking in a calm, positive way as you sculpt the most beautiful nails. It's not just me who watch your videos from our bed and that is all we managed to do that day. I know from talking about that in a self help group online.
What you create in your videos is so delicate and attractive and you explaining as you sculpt, creates an atmosphere of calm and order. Something to focus on and then the reward of beautiful reveal shots. You do more with your channel than teach, Suzie. You also heal.

I had no idea my videos reached such a large amount of people for this. People do tell me this but I thought it was more isolated situations, but I am learning more and more that this is a much bigger group of people.
I am honoured to be able to help as depression is such a large problem and affect so many wonderful people. This is clearly not my field but I am glad to help in anyway I can.❤️

I have a high hyponychium on the same finger and I am learning forms and it’s such a pain! lol but I had trouble remembering that word years ago for state board, so I always say oow my hy-pony-chium because that helped me remember the spelling and definition 😂

I'm always happy to see a video! I do my own nails now for relaxation- used to do them professionally long time ago. Thank you for rekindling my interest in nails again, showing me how much fun it can be once more.

We aren't really allowed false nails in my job, I'm a Healthcare Assistant. But I personally would love fingertip nails, with a matt top coat. So natural looking xx
I'm sure that goes for a lot of health care professionals and I know for a fact that nurses aren't allowed to have false nails or wear nail polish to work. Germs will adhere to the acrylic and the nail varnish and so they can't wear it.
@@Sunfl75 And nail varnish can flake, a contamination risk.
@@Sunfl75I'm wondering if that varies in workplaces. I'm sure I've seen nurses with polish at a big Sydney Australia hospital.
@@michellemelville8979 Microbiology doesn't vary with the workplace. The attitudes of the nurses may. It may also vary what field they are in and how high risk of infection there is for the patients. I'm sure there was a reason why they opted for having their nails done, like not working with anything that required taking certain precautions. If not they did "break the rules" for nurses regarding this.

I would starve as a nail tech. I simply do not have a talent for it. Yet I am obsessed with your videos and keep on trying. Your voice is absolutely calming and almost hypnotic. I'm the equestrian who loves nails but has them super short as I break them so much because I'm around horses. The final length you have is what I like when I do get them done (this is "long" to me!) I like how natural these look and look much easier than how long many techs try to make mine when I go on holiday.
I would love to see a national colored tips with a clear nail bed!!! I think I have watched every episode you have made

Thank you so much Suzie~ I'm pretty new to your channel. I used to have acrylics for years on & off done in a all Vietnamese salon. Nothing against that except my sweet girl did not speak and understand the best English , so it was hard to communicate what I wanted. She always told me I could not wear gel nails, that they do not last , that I needed only acrylics and plastic tips and especially for me with the shape of my nail I could not. I always thought what?? I loved other people's nails who got gel but I felt I was missing out. I stopped wearing acrylics almost 2 years ago....getting my own natural nails & cuticles in great shape....doing my own dry & wet manicures. I use polishes mostly from Dazzle Dry which are fun...it IS COOL how FAST it dries. I also do a CND soft gel polish curing with my light...I can soak off. I THOUGHT I was going to be very consistant doing everything myself plus save money. Now I realize I kinda do LOVE GETTING them done professionally.....BUT so important I GOT to FIND A SALON where someone understands what I would like. I want just what you are showing~ my own nails with a forgiving easy gel hybrid on top, and using a " form " adding SOME length on the 2 or 3 nails that never seem to match the length of the others which drives me nuts, and I can't fix that part myself. Thank you again Suzie~~ I'm learning about exactly what will make me happy. It's a lot of money spent if I don't keep doing things myself and the discipline it takes to be consistant with every step to doing your own nails. Like I say I kinda miss the fun relaxing appointment in having them done for me but want to be REALLY HAPPY with the outcome. Wish you were here in San Diego!!!!❤

I Love Cameraman!!! He is so funny!!!! I have a lot of customers that like short nails and nail bitters. I amp my game and try to be so very particular with them since they are also. The hardest part is that they want designs and short nail designs are harder for me since you are limited to designs. Any recommendations for short nail designs?

Omg Suzie I came across your videos while searching how to apply poly nail gels. I have seen so many videos & your is the best by far, full of information, techniques & enjoy watching you explain things. Seen many of your videos the last few days😊. You made me want to try doing my hybrid gel nails again. Like you I absolutely love doing sculptures. Very hard to find anyone in Sydney Australia to do sculptured nails. I decided to do sculptured nails today, took me about 3 hours to do, slow & steady. My right turned out ok & can improve with more practice. Thank you thank you thank you so much for your videos ❤

I don't know if you've done a video about this. But I'm new to gel polish and I ordered a bunch and some of them are way too thick to where I can't get an even layer and I've seen some videos on how to fix it but I trust your knowledge way more. Also love your videos. ❤

Can you do a video about what skin and nail issues cannot be worked on? Warts fungus etc. Certain things I've heard a lot of techs disagree on.

I'm actually quite interested in cameraman getting nails because he must have wider nails and I personally have big hands with kinda wide nails on some fingers, and I sometime struggle with nails looking big... whether I make them long or short. and they don't look like that on my pointer finger and my pinky because they are more slender...
