Ooooh! This is a good technique to try and make geode nails! Do the same process, but with different colors and some sparkles thrown in? I think that would be cool! I'm off to try right now!!!
That is so cool! It looks a little scary at first with the big ball on your nail bed, but it files down beautifully! I can totally see doing this for Valentine’s with reds and pinks!
I love how you explain everything so simple, along with the right camera angles and amazing editing to help us along step by step. I have attempted this design and failed miserably😊 I know I can achieve it now that you have made a tutorial on it, Thank you so much for your patience in teaching!💗
Suzie! This is such a good video for those of us that struggle with perfection! It shows us that everything has a learning curve and even masters of their craft such as yourself will do touch-ups at the end to fix small mistakes! Please post more like this. (you learning and perfecting a new skill!)
You’re the best. I would never attempt this but it is so soothing to watch the artist at work. Your voice and demeanor combined with the music and visual presentation are delightful. Thank you!❤❤
Suzie! Your videos are so fun to watch! And so informative, can't get enough. I've learned so much more from you than I ever did from my certification classes that I paid a LOT of money for. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us lowly mortals!
Thank you for sharing that although it is sad to know that I hear that comment very often, that people are learning more for my 20 minute videos than they did from their certification classes.😳
Wow! This is incredible! I was a nail tech for many years and then quit for various reasons however I am now in a job that I can enjoy having nails again. I am doing my own and am enjoying the process so much. Your videos are incredible and I have them on while I am working. You are such an inspiration. :)
I did this the other day on a nail tip. It turned out ok. Doing it reversed in a dual form looks beautiful as well, but you paint each petal on a separate form and flash cure, then lay them inside with builder gel between. Looks very realistic. This technique takes a lot of patience. I could see gaps between the color layers when I did mine this way. I guess I didn’t bring the petal color out far enough underneath. This is so pretty tho. Very nice!❤ The first one I tried was a rainbow rose, the second faded from baby blue to purple on the outer petals. The one that I did inverted looked the best though, with white petals that had a pink edge, applied with a very pale jelly yellow. Looked so good! We used to grow a rose called “circus circus” that was that color combination.
I know you were not happy with this technique but you know nothing stops you from trying! And that is what makes you one of the best nail tech and teach on UA-cam! I would love to see you do this rose in rainbow!
This turned out gorgeous. The only thing I would say to help with the "ribbon" look that you talked about, is not joining your petals together in the one layer. Work on 2 or 3 separate petals for each layer and put the edges close together but don't blend them. It will give more definition.
Your just such an amazing teacher Suzie! I’ve watched so many other tutorials on this design and your is the only one that makes it seem plausible to execute.
Yeah it’s a lot of work. However I can see the more I do it the faster I would get at it just like anything of course. So if I was to do this design for a client, most clients would not want every finger being a flower which would be personally in my artistic opinion, too much flower . So I think to make a flowers stand out it be best to do it as an accent, nail or two on one hand
I retired in 364 days ago. Loving every minute. Just before I left the job, I started polishing with us gel to try to get some strength in my nails. They’ve never been strong. I loved the polish, but after watching you for a while, I bravely started building my own nails…mainly for strength rather than length. I prefer the thick builder gels. I so much appreciate your tutorials, tho my husband isn’t so sure. I’ve been buying quite a bit of product! Thank you for the step-by-step info. Waldo, Ohio, USA.
Thank you Suzie for actually teaching this. You and one other tech I watch taught it. I'm grateful to you and your teaching. Beautiful nails as always!
This is really one of those "trust the process" designs, because throughout the video I kept thinking "Girl, no!", but the end result is absolutely gorgeous!
I love the look of this. Its incredibly satisfying, filing to reveal the flower; but oh so time consuming to create. Blue is my favorite colour. I've tried this, on display tips; but not yet on my own nails. I'm thinking, for my valentines set in shades of magenta to pink 💗 I really like the green one you did.
That was really beautiful, I love watching you do something uniquely different. You have been my go-to nail girl since 2020, when covid hit. I guess I could call you my teacher! I use Enail couture products but you have taught me well.... Thank you Susie for all you have done. maybe one day I could take a class and get certified. I would love to show you the work I have learned from you... You are amazing!
Wow! Talk abt trust the process 😃those blobs freaked me out hahah... beautifully done Suzie as always. Thank you for the indepth explanations, the sharing of do's & don'ts... Happy 2023 to you & Cameraman! 🙃
I would be so impatient to even have this done to my nails let alone creating it on someone else but the results are beautiful - I love the plum shade!
suzie, i absolutely love all of your videos. they are my go-to whenever i open youtube. you’re such an amazing teacher with an absolutely amazing personality and attitude! keep doing what you’re doing. I appreciate you
Hey Suzie, I have a question about fake tips and acrylic. About four years ago I was getting acrylic done but after about three or four fills they would tell me to get them completely soaked off for a completely new set. I now do my own nails at home. I was spending way too much money for subpar work......there is not a good community of nail artists where I live. Especially after covid, quality got horrible. I had a massive amount of lifting, lots of breakage, and even had many nails just randomly pop off. After watching you I learned what they were after - fast work for a big profit that was not good quality. I have been doing color dip at home and I'm never going back.....with one exception: #1 on my bucket list plan a Canada trip, see Niagra Falls and have Suzie do a stellar set of tips for me! The question: Why do some nail salons not follow the golden rule of making sure they inspect their work? And does excessively oily nail beds possibly cause the amount of lifting I had? (I would have lifting within a week on ALL my nails, never failed). Funny thing is with dip i do not have this problem because I take my time, wash my hands, do a good job prepping the nail bed which mine are long, and do the dip. I get about a week and a half of wear before i need to fill it. The lifting is minimal and any of that I remove the product to redo that individual nail. So far I have gotten about a half inch of growth beyond my fingertips. I know you do not like working with color dip but it has saved me money and has allowed me strength to my nails so they could grow out. I want a good length for when I get a set done by you!
I saw this design a couple of time, wondering how to do it, i watched videos try to figure it out, but today i really understand the process with you... thank you so much 🙏💖 I learned a lot since I'm following you, and I'm very grateful... I'm wishing to you and cameraman, happy new year 2023 health, joy, love and succes in everything....
I think it's beautiful and I've been wanting to try these but haven't had the time yet. The nails are beautiful 😍 love the colors you used to create these. Thanks for sharing. 💖💖💖🤗
Yeah, I get that too. I thought it would take much longer and I thought the result would be much worse lol and I’m an optimist. What I did learn was it’s not that difficult if you have some skills and even if I didn’t, I would always learn by mistakes as you will see in the video. I’m glad I finally had the time to do it. It’s pretty cool.
I bite my nail... I have no idea why I am here (though I do dream of having med length nails). This is just so breath taking. If my nails where longer, I would try a combination of black, red and faded white. 😍
Love love love... Now I need to go get clear so I can try this next.... I love everything u do, I love how u teach us and u show us Ur mistakes and how to fix... Every time u do a new design I need to do it as well... Love u
okay so I love these, you did great omg but I can't help but wonder if you could get the same result with alcohol colours? y'know those that look like watercolours
Hi Suzie! Thank you so much for all your magnificent content. I tried this trend today for the first time, it was so much fun! I just had to do a pink one :) Looking forward to your next video, as always. Much love.
Hi Suzie love the design, any chance you could do it in acrylic as I’m allergic to gel ,and would be interested to see how you paint the design and mix the colours xx 🙏🏻
Honestly, I don’t know if I can decide but I hear you I love the green too. The purple is so pretty and soft, but if I had to choose, I might choose the green as well.
I was really curious where this process was going to go. It it turned out surprisingly nice. I did not expect that to happen. At first I was like, how thick does this need to be! 😄
Love both those colours together. Nice job. I am going to try this also. I did a practice on a tip, but I think I may do a nail on myself next set. Thanks.
very interesting design and look very pretty. don't think i would have the patient to do this xD but it reminds me of the flower design made on dotting tools some years ago in the same way. dip in builder gel. cure. draw on the petals. cure then another layer of builder gel and repeat. But i was told gel polishes cant be flashed cured at all.
Happy New Year that is cool thank you so much for trying that and showing us how to do it properly bot as I was watching all I couldn’t stop thinking OMG the amount of product used for one nail what if someone wants that on all 10 fingers 🙀lol.
Ooooh! This is a good technique to try and make geode nails! Do the same process, but with different colors and some sparkles thrown in? I think that would be cool! I'm off to try right now!!!
Great idea - tag me on Instagram if you post it - I’d love to see
@@NailCareerEducation I tried it out! Learned some things too! I'll have to try it again soon! It's a fun technique!!
Georgia o´keeffe-nails! Beautiful!

Oh goodness you know how many designs I tried and sucked so bad!!! Everytime you do it you get alittle closer
@@NailCareerEducation Thanks for the encouragement! I will have to try again😊💗
This just might be one of the coolest nail art styles I've ever seen 🤯😍 and a great first video of the year 🥳

Wow I love the olive green 😍
Beautiful! above me skill level directly on the nail but I think I’ll try it on a full cover tip and then attach it with acrylic. Happy New Year Suzie
I would be so impatient to even have this done to my nails let alone creating it on someone else but the results are beautiful - I love the plum shade!
Great tutorial, thanks so much for bringing us along. I adore the two different colors and the accompanying wavy nails. ❤

Very good! Thanks for rhe video
I'm surprised you didn't do this with acrylic. It was nice to see it done with a different medium. Very beautiful. 💜 Thank you for sharing! 🥰
I cannot wait to try this! I'm always looking for a good way to do roses, and this is amazing, very artistic and impressionistic.
So pretty! Very helpful that you work through your issues with us so we can learn too! Thank you! 🥰💝
Very beautiful "Suzie" thanks for sharing and showing luv much love always 💅❤❤❤

Susie it started out ridiculous until the end result in a spray of snow 😆 pretty cool 🙏🏽🙋🏻♀️👍🏽Mia
I must try this I love playing around with nails Thanks for the great work u do Suzie
So the rose sticks out of the nail how nice looking 😊😊

That is a good first time!! It's amazing how uckie it looks till you file it, and it all comes together! I Love it!
I saw a couple people do this with hybrid gel, and one even made petals and then painted under them as they went along. Love this, still need to try!
Love the flowers, green would be my first choice ❣️
I’ve made balls for belly button bars doing the same concept, I dipped in clear between each petal placement ❤
It’s very effective on the nails too 👌
Even though I'm allergic to all things gel, I still love watching your videos. Turned out amazing.
I bite my nail... I have no idea why I am here (though I do dream of having med length nails). This is just so breath taking. If my nails where longer, I would try a combination of black, red and faded white. 😍

Hi Suzie! Thank you so much for all your magnificent content. I tried this trend today for the first time, it was so much fun! I just had to do a pink one :)
Looking forward to your next video, as always. Much love.
Love this! for what it's worth - your thumb honestly wasn't too "ribbonny", I liked it.
Hi Suzie love the design, any chance you could do it in acrylic as I’m allergic to gel ,and would be interested to see how you paint the design and mix the colours xx 🙏🏻
Loveee the colors!
Susie I’m getting so good at acrylic! My family and friends say it looks like the salon!! That’s all thanks to you!!!
Thanks fantastic - I’m proud of you
I’d add a little yellow and white to the green for more dimension but ultimately they are all beautiful
You could encapsulate so many things in this technique. Like thumbellina in the flower. Maybe by using an image.
Cute, I’d like to try Glitter
Very beautiful, I love the green rose
Honestly, I don’t know if I can decide but I hear you I love the green too. The purple is so pretty and soft, but if I had to choose, I might choose the green as well.
I love the pinky finger!
Absolutely stunning 😍

These are better than any I’ve seen !!! You go girl! ❤
You always do an awesome job.
These are beautiful! You are so talented!!
I’m trying this when I get home! ❤❤❤
amo este canal el mejor de UA-cam 😍😍😍😍😍
I love the colors on your other hand. Reminds me of jade. Great job.
I loved your colour scheme they look amazing!! So much talent 💗💗 I love your videos your just so fun and inspiring 💗💗
Love both those colours together. Nice job. I am going to try this also. I did a practice on a tip, but I think I may do a nail on myself next set. Thanks.
Don’t forget that protective layer before you put a colour down on your nail. Have fun. Let me know what colours you use.
Those are gorgeous! ❤
Oh my gawsh, I love this! 😍❤
Love these roses! I’ll definitely try this design on my next nails ❤
That is super. A color I think would be neat is a shade of blues
very interesting design and look very pretty. don't think i would have the patient to do this xD but it reminds me of the flower design made on dotting tools some years ago in the same way. dip in builder gel. cure. draw on the petals. cure then another layer of builder gel and repeat. This is art😍👏
Wow that must take hours with all of that curing!
Not really cause you can do some at a flash cure
That was soooooo Cool!!!!!!!😃💕
Hermoso ❤️ cuanto tiempo demora realizar ese trabajo? Son muchos pasos . Arte total!
I really liked both colours but more the plum. 😁 can't wait for your next video. Happy New year from the UK 🇬🇧
If you added sparkles like mica it might look like a geode.
Love the design 😍
I LOVE Bridge!! Your builder gel is fabulous, too. 😊
It's so good! I love it too
I really like this art piece, I'm going to practice to get it right. 🤓
You are amazing. Love love love all your videos. I've learned so much. I want to know, what is your preferred/favourite nail shape? Xxxx
Love your videos! I would love to see you work more with gels, like fiberbase and builder in a bottle. 💞
Wow these are so cool!!
That's awesome Suzie 💖
Love your videos very inspiring
Looks really good .
super interesting and super cool!
I have tried this also and it can be difficult to get it just right 🤩😍❤️👍👍 beautiful job Susie loving the shades too!

Happy New Year that is cool thank you so much for trying that and showing us how to do it properly bot as I was watching all I couldn’t stop thinking OMG the amount of product used for one nail what if someone wants that on all 10 fingers 🙀lol.
Super 😍
Hai Suzie, best wishes for this new year and cameraman.
