Nice little steam loco. I have recently started to dabble with steam locomotives myself. My first and second use my little vertical steam engine that I designed for steamboats. The third that I am building now has the traditional front cylinders and eccentric driven valves. I like your valve type better and the reversing seems to work well. I am using an alcohol lamp for a heat source. I also like the performance of your butane torch and internally fired boiler. I am curious why you would use a wood chassis?
What a lovely thing. I’ve made a recent foray into 45mm gauge at a scale of 1:16 to represent 30 inch gauge. What are your long term plans for the railway?
I live in the apartment in downtown area, no place to build a fixed metal railway 😓, but I like this plastic railway, I can take it outdoor and run the loco anytime and anywhere
Rad build, I'm working on my first with the goal to show it off to the fam on Christmas ⛄⛄⛄⛄🎁.
cheers !🍻🍻
Cool

this is my first locomotive model, metal cutting is not easy for homemaking, maybe wood chassis is a good option for trial running..🤣
