How about the fact that a race horse like a thoroughbred has less speed and stamina then a work horse😂
because horse races are not usually very long, the require speed, yes, but not a lot of stamina. On the other hand, work horse are constantly working, therefore they need more stamina.

I wouldn’t say a huge difference, speed doesn’t effect things too much anyways which is something I think is kind of bullshit but regardless, all race horses I know of are pretty damn fast and if there’s something that’s faster than it, it’s a higher tier horse which needs to be in the game or else people would probably be pissed about wanting better horses

The spurs actually do make the clanking sound if you walk on wood like the saloon in Valentine. If you wear ear or headphones, you can hear them pretty well.

Things that make no sense:
There’s no such thing as black cougar
Harriet doesn’t want you to kill animals but doesn’t teach you how to talk to animals (to avoid being eaten)
You can’t wear the animal head piece without the coat
You can’t sleep in your own bed
Or sleep in general
You can’t bathe
As a girl, when you wear a dress or skirt you don’t ride side saddle, instead your skirt/dress becomes a glitched disaster through your horse.. why
When you put on a bandana or pick up a hat off the floor it saves over your custom outfit
You can’t attach the lantern to your hip when you pull out a gun
The legendary sapa cougar is a black cougar but that is a mission so I see where your coming from
Yea , that part I loved , I could carry my latern on my hip , while I was riding, can't do that anymore. But someone said you can't run with a latern but I have no problem with that. Wish they would fix my game , so that when all the challenges turn to the new set at midnight, my first page will not change, to show me my daily challenges for the day, I have to turn off the system, and wait a while, then go back to see what the new ones are. So freaking stupid. Irritating 😃.
Jack Hoge I meant that that there is no such thing as a black cougar in real life. There has never been a cougar caught or killed in human history that has a black coat..
Actually there is a glitch/method to be able to wear legendary garments without the coat so you have just the hood. First, you park your horse as close to Madam Nazar as you can. Go into Nazar’s buy menu. Push up on the D-pad, click on Bindweed gauntlets ( make sure your current outfit allows gauntlets), stay in there for a few seconds, back out of buy menu. Step next to your horse, choose a legendary garment. You’ll now only have the hood on. But you must go right back into Nazar’s buy menu and then back out a second time for your outfit to stay. This works for virtually any outfit. You cannot save the outfit and you cannot fast travel or do missions that take you out of the lobby either and if you die, your outfit reverts back to its original state. On female characters, the Hemiston naturalist outfit glitches to the tube top only covers the front but you are bare back.
The lantern on hip thing kind of makes sense why they wouldn't do it. That would burn your leg.
Someone has to send this video directly to Rockstar’s brainstorming meeting room.

this here is part of the reason i wish GTA would just die at this point as long as they keep getting money from that bloated cash cow RDR2 is doubtfully going to get alot of attention
They do care. But new consoles are on their way and a potentially large new revenue stream along with them. Rockstar, at the end of the day, is still a business whose ultimate goal is to rake in as much money as they can. Maximize profits, and all that jazz. Shareholders need to be kept happy. The half-year long dry spell RDR2 Online saw this year was partly due to the pandemic, in my opinion. The other part was polishing the game and content drops scheduled for late this year and next year with the new consoles as priority. Just speculation on my part, though. This game has potential and Rockstar knows that. They want to time things right and maximize profits. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt on that, of course. Only time will tell.
@@12DannyA the dry spell was going on well before covid and if they were using that time to polish the game why is it still extremely bug ridden? red dead redemption will be on the next generation of consoles as well so thats also no excuse! again its just rockstar focusing there efforts on the bloated cash cow that is gtaV while RDR2 takes a back stage to it and for those who cant stand the imbalanced shit show that is gta online and actually enjoy the gameplay of rdr 2 that fact alone really hurts

I meant polish it for next gen consoles. I also mentioned content drops for the end of this year and for next year. Motion capture and voice acting isn't a quick process, I would assume. Covid delayed the shit out of production and business resumed with limitations. But I agree that Gta V is still a major focus for Rockstar considering it's going to be next gen as well. I remember playing that shit on my PS3. I suppose I'm just an optimist. Don't get me wrong, I want content for RDR2, and I believe it will come, just really delayed. Again, maybe I'm being too optimistic.

Yeah, that was the thing I didn't understand.. You can't fabricate the fish (esp. the 3-Star) you catch at camp, but there's a Special "Fish" Stew Recipe. ^__^;;
Note: Harriet will even get mad if you just run over animals: i.e. roadkill. It even interrupts the "don't kill an animal for 24 game hours" challenge. WTF!
That Daily Challenge is Dumb as Hell anyway I try to so other Role Dailies than this one only need 9 out of the 16 available.

Why can't we purchase different wagons or stagecoaches?

Why don't we have different holster positions available to wear? You can see some npc's with different holster positioning
Why can't we jump from our horse onto a nearby ledge or rooftop?
P.s: Spurs do make the classic noise and have made that noise since day one. Try wearing a headset, you can clearly hear them.

James Vaughn Canoes do spawn in rivers and you can buy wagons.
@@Jim-lg8sf you can't buy different types of wagons and stagecoaches. Just the bounty wagon and the hunter wagon. And they spawn in the flat iron lake and the kamassa River at times but never the Dakota River.
You can jump from roofs to horses if your horse is positioned correctly it’s actually a daily to drop from so far onto your horse sometimes

Also you can’t mercy kill animals if they are near death, in story mode you can press a button to kill them, in online you have to wait for them to bleed out if you don’t wanna ruin the pelt, because rockstar doesn’t want animations in online.

After the Halloween update in RDR 2 online the next role that needs a update is the bounty hunter role. It’s still my favorite role. I can not wait to play as a lawman. And own a sheriff’s Station. This game needs also a new role in RDR 2 online to play as bandit and own a hideout to. So that we can play against each other. Or play against NPC characters and that you can choose. Be good or evil or both in RDR 2 online. 🤔😀
It woild be nice to lock players up. Be fun to hunt down your diahonarable friwnds. Maybe a hanging system too.
Great video! But as someone who uses spurs in real life with my horses, I can confirm that they don't make that much noise like they do in western movies, especially when walking. Unless they are really loose on your boots or you are walking on a harder surface like concrete or tile; and even then they're not that noisy. But in the game, if you're on your horse and go into eagle eye, you can actually hear the spurs. So Rockstar did get that one correct. No hate, just thought I'd point that out. 😁
Yeah actually, modern english spurs don't make much noise, but the western riding ones do :)
Also don't you think it's kinda unrealistic for rockstar to add gypsy vanners to rdo? I read that gypsy vanners weren't brought to america until the late 20's

The Lock Breaker doesn’t make any sense. You can buy it, it says its “used to silently break locks” but a never found a lock to use it.

Lock breaker is for the trunks on most stage coaches. I use the not silent version aka "navy revolver" 😄

@@yvesmoura2751 I didnt play story mode so idk lol but make a habit of aiming at the trunks on different coaches youll start seeing them. Shoot and loot it'll give regular bullets and horse provisions, simple stuff like that ✌
And the witnesses are so broken to wtf, most of them "spot" me through walls and like 200 ft away it´s ridiculous

#30: Arbitrary mission timers. I've only ever failed missions because of that bloody timer.
It sent me to kill bandits and it ran out out as I was in the middle of shooting them, cease fire kicked in ? Guess I’ll leave them alone now
or like carrying a bounty and fail because of the timer so the bounty target falls of your horse but you literally had the bounty...
@@matesucic2717 That one really irks me. The timer should go away once you've secured or killed the suspect. What, are they just gonna let the guy go because it took more than 2 1/2 minutes to get him back to his cell after capturing him? Utterly ridiculous.

Taking in a legendary bounty at 5 star rating only makes you about $20 for the $300 hat you want

Two points about the naturalist thing.
1. Harriet is crazy. It’s part of her gimmick.
2. You don’t HAVE to kill the predators. You’ve got sedative ammo and a horse that can run fast.
2:50 I believe the reason for this was because you would be able to trade gold for cash because in the beta version of online you WERE able to sell horses, at least the ones you owned. I remember I sold the first horse you get on the first mission with the brothers for $60. I tried selling the Arabian horse that you got for free during the beta, but ofc it would sell for $0.
Can of baked beans are the same price as a gold ring
6:36 #18. This rig is for horsemen. When on a horse the offhand gun on your belt facing the right is the most comfortable draw. Drawing from the hip is slower and inconvenient when mounted. Yes I don’t like it, yes I want a rig like Dutch’s, Micah’s, or Horsea’s but this is a very historically accurate rig that looks bad.

Actually, the honor system affects the types of missions you get as a resupply, so if you have low honor, you get missions where you kill people and high honor you get missions where you're encouraged to not kill people.
The reason for the two right handed holsters is that the secondary is called a cross draw holster. You can draw your weapon from a seated position or from horseback easily with this design so that you don't have to draw from the hip.

Actually, the dog can leave the camp when you camp is being raided, it will come and get you and you can interact with it then
Raided by what? Squirrels?
High honor/low honor has some influence on the re-supply missions from cripps.
High honor: hunting animals for trading a wagon with supplies & taking back the supplies from the broken down wagon or that the npc has been killed by a cougar or a pack of wolves
Low honor: steal supply sacks or an oil wagon or steal a supply wagon.
You forgot to add explosive bullets to the list
No they're in the game. Its just that they're hard to make. You need animal fat that you get from killing ducks and skinning them.
@@John-hz4wi Pigs and other Animals have Fat aswell. It is not difficult to make it is rather annoying to make but it is good like this otherwise it would be too easy. Outlaw Passes can be a source for Explosive Ammo aswell or even Twitch Prime here and there.

You covered pretty much everything here. Except the fact that being in defensive mode I can still be very easily killed by another player. I've been shot dead by a player while in my wilderness camp about to fast travel in defensive mode. I love this game and played since day one but as with everyone else I just wish Rockstar would show it some love and fix it.
Well, about the number 24, Lawman always try to kill you because our character escaped from prison in the beginning of the game. Our character was going to Blackwater/Valentine to be hanged and was doing time in Sisika penitentiary until the sentence was ready to be executed. So, technically, our characters are always wanted Dead or Alive.
What actually doesn't make sense is the Sheriff don't arresting us when we deliver a bounty LOL
I have one, are character’s can’t speak. It’s annoying how are characters just stand there and do nothing whilst someone is talking to them in a cutscene, makes it seem as though something is wrong with them. I am not asking for free roam dialogue like “hERe GIrL” , I am just asking a simple conversation in a cutscene. You could say Rockstar are prob trying to stay with their tactic with gta but to me it’s just lazy.
To do this, all u need is the player to choose there voice when customising their character, instead we get to customise our whistle 😐

even GTA had some kind of voice system, shouting in your mic will intimidate store-owners much faster
It's probably just so you don't have immersion killed by seeing hundreds of other people with the exact same voice as you, with the exact same personality and delivery on voice lines. Not to mention cutscenes where there are multiple players but the host is the one being addressed. Think Fallout 4 compared to New Vegas, you have so much freedom to interpret who your character is in New Vegas, but that is completely taken away with a voiced protagonist in Fallout 4. It would be the same situation in Red Dead Online in that case, and before it is said, dialogue options would not work in Online either, it would just be a tack on and it would make cutscenes worse for it as well. Rockstar is smart, they know that it would be very difficult to make a voiced online protagonist work. To combat the duplicate voices they would need to hire 20+ voice actors for both male and female and make sure they all have equally great performances and a pitch slider that can't be abused to make robot voices. As much as I'd like to see it, I am almost positive that it would be a disappointment.
@@rootobia not that fallout 3 didn't have it's freedom, but I agree that voicing everybody in the world uniquely is difficult to do and sometimes a zipped character 's dialogue makes us more immersed as we could say the dialogue in our heads, our own thoughts and voices. Now there's special cases like KCD when it is based on pretty much true events that happened in medieval times. Really just comes down to preference and game type.

Funny thing is most of these features are in Story Mode
for the two right had holsters. when you draw the left holster with your left hand when dual wielding, you actually grab its and then spin it in to position in the animation. and same when holstering it .
Rockstar: adds the ability for your dog to follow you.
Other players: *its open season*

The Legendary outfits are just horrid and most of the updates are just introducing busy work, which I'm sure is Covid impact related.
Regarding the satchel & offhand holster:
In RDR2, I noticed that since Arthur wears a satchel, the offhanded holster works best than if he had a holster on his left hip. Because the left hip holster would get in the way of a satchel.
TBH, the offhand holster should be flipped to be drawn with the left hand. The offhand holster was used by the calvary to draw pistol while mounted.
But in RDO, since we don't have a satchel we should have the second holster on our left hip. Or at least flip the off hand holster to draw by the left hand.
Or give us a satchel so that offhand holster actually makes sense, whether drawn by right or left hand.
I LOVE that there's no incentive for playing faster. Doing things fast just leads to people complaining there's nothing to do.
Things that we missed in the list that makes no absolute sense in rdo
1 - Can't wear a bandana or mask while wearing a poncho.
2 - Can't fully customize role outfits.
3 - Garmet Sets only come with jackets and hoods unlike the rdr2 story. No vests, boots, gloves, bandoliers, customizable hats, or even customize you camp with legendry pelts for your tent etc.
4 - The bandit Mask that comes with the Outlaw Pass.3 is in the bandana section instead of the mask tab.
5 - Can't wear rings with gloves.
6 - Some horses get scared of tiny snakes even to the point where they buck you off.
7 - No duel wield holster types like in the story, one guy in the Angelo Bronte mansion cutscene has a gun holster on the left side of his rib.
8 - Can't interact with your tent such as lying or sitting on the bed, can't close the front flaps of the tent it just stays open.
9 - Emotes cost too much gold bars
10 - The Black Arabian costing 42 gold bars when there are better horses you can get with in game money and roles.
11 - Wagons aren't customizable.
12 - Npc's in your Moonshack bar don't pay you a fee for drinking your moonshine.
13 - Where are the rest of the minigame modes and activities? such as five finger fillet, dominos, blackjack, the movie theaters scattered around the map.
14 - Banks aren't accessible to store in money. Maybe banks will come out as part of heists but this still would have been a cool feature in my opinion.
15 - No feature to allow us to change our characters gender.
16 - Can't have your camp pitched in the snow.
17 - No co-op missions like in gta where you survive npc enemies and each round gets slightly harder.
18 - No face paint, no tattoos, no necklaces you can wear etc.
19 - Can't order food in bars or rent rooms and washup in hotels like you can in single player.
20 - Mercy killing animals should have been a feature in the game and not locked behind a role.
21 - Jails are always empty in online.
22 - Gus has no missions or things for us to do.
23 - Horses missing from the story line.
24 - Posse's can only be up to 7 people.
25 - Killing legendary animals in free roam has a 3 day real life time cool down if you're trying to get the same type.
The brother in the tutorial to online literally says to bring him any good horses you find but you cant sell them, even if they're stolen. You cant sell stage coaches or wagons you steal either so what's even the point of interacting with horses that aren't yours?

I personally wanted more of a gunslinger loadout capability. I'd love to have the main two holsters (with the ability to reposition them) and have one or two smaller holsters undershoulder/across chest that can be used for only carrying like short barrel pistols/revolvers. I really want to have my long barrel Navys or Volcanics on my hips and then be able to have short barrel LeMats or double actions to choose from too. When I'm in towns I like to leave long guns on my horse for the realism but I want to carry a little more firepower. Even be able to carry two sawed offs and still have a couple short barrel handguns to switch over to. I think that would be a lot of fun. On the weapon wheel I imagine the melee options being moved to the left or right and having the bottom of weapon wheel reflect the top with being able to draw one or both handguns.
The offhand holster, the way it currently is, would typically be used if you played poker alot, in case you were called out for cheating or something, you'd be able to draw pretty easily, but I do think they should've had a couple of different options on where to put the holster

Something to note about the holsters is that the way they're worn is a very real pattern used by cavalry. Though harder (but still possible) to draw simultaneously for dual-wielding it made it so that both revolvers were able to be drawn comfortably while riding, all the while letting you handle the reigns. Given how much time is spent on our horses it makes sense we'd have the holsters in such a configuration.
The biggest issue I have with RDR2O is in addition to how individuals no where near an incident can be a witness and the fact that though the only form of commuication over any type of long distance was the telegraph. They notify the cops somehow immediately. And though it took me several minutes to get to the location, they only take a few seconds. Not to mention that they can see you in total darkness and you can't see them.
Dude, let's all make a big stink about not being able to sell horses so Rockstar might actually fix it.
The second holster is in front, that does not make sense
Its called Cross draw holster however it would be nice to add another and position it on other hip heck yes.

The spurs do make a noise but only briefly. Try walking on a hardwood surface you should be able to hear it. Love everything I learn here.

The dog is there to defend your camp from looters. One time i was in the woods hunting and my dog come at me barkling and i got a notification that my camp was under attack.

The additional holster was worn by outlaws for the most part. They were worn to accommodate a quickdraw from the hip or waist with the dominate hand. However they allowed for a dual wield for those who liked having the inconspicuous carry.
Let alone being the late 1800's and southpaw was not a common occurrence in gunslingers, making the production of Left-Handed holsters something that would likely have been custom or from a belt that included a traditional "dual-wield" carry.
And the draw is one that most people in those days were accustom to if they wanted to dual wield without displaying a second pistol hanging from their hip. ;)

The Spurs do make the iconic noise. It just depends on what terrain you are walking on. They make more noise in hard surfaces like wooden floors.
