Pretty much everything I’ve bought on Temu is exactly what I’ve ordered and be great. Shirts, medical stuff, wash basins, etc. really cheap and kinda addictive.

Look online for a black (white are hard to see through) but get a black Mosquito net that fits over a queen sized bed. They are often called Bed Canopy mosquito nets but it is basically a huge square room the size of a queen bed. I have used it in the forest just hung its four courners from tree branches above and you have a mosquito free experience and you can hang a hammock in it through the slits (bring clips to close the walk-through slits and once you kill the mosquitos that are in it at first, you are good for the night.

Everything I've bought from temu has been surprisingly good. I've been buying cloths high heels, boots, and omg the dog cloths I've purchased for my dog s are amazing and super super cheap I'm talking like 2 to 3 bucks and the quality was shockingly good.. so from my experience with temu have been great. I give them a 5 star rating.. I love it!!!!!!!
I have mixed reviews. I have some things that I love and some that straight up suck. Something’s for my Jeep I use everyday. Most of the camping gear I got from temu ended up in the trash but some I use on every trip. Thanks for watching

Hey Spackmann I just thought about an idea for the future should you ever use that tent again and it's raining you need to buy some clips for the edges you know what I'm saying . It's something to think about.
I was actually trying to clip it together with carabiners while it was raining and it just wasn’t having it. It really needed a much larger overhang which I thought I would have had.
Hahaha video made me laugh if you use that set up in the rain again you better take a bigger tarp I think it be a nice setup for nice weather camping if you could get a bug net for that would be sweet
I agree! If I brought just a good old plastic blue tarp that was big enough I would have been fine. Wish the tarp was bigger but still had fun. The hammock was so comfortable. Before the rain started I passed out a few times just laying there. Thanks for watching
I would get a seam seal kit for you tarp and the hammock and seam seal both and take it out again. I would lower the tarp closer to the hammock. Just my thoughts. Awesome vid.

DUDE!! When you were laying down I was saying to myself "This is it, this is it! Thats going to rip and hes fallin and busting his A$$ on the rocks" It was just so see through and that storm wrecked us too parts of my town were even flooded. If the tarp is the sun shade that's listed in the description, no wonder you got wet. Sun shades are typically breathable to let the air through but give you shade, thus the name sun shade. I can't check it on Temu as I don't have an account.
@Doc_Watson it was sold as a waterproof sun shade. Description says “Durable and waterproof: made of a high quality material, this shade sail is waterproof and withstand harsh weather conditions, ensuring long-lasting use.” If they didn’t say it twice in the description I would agree lmao.

Started out innocent enough , some step 2’s by the fire and morphed into step 2”s and trespassing 😁 Don’t see myself camping with a big net unless elk or axis hunting is involved . Did the straps come with it ? I watched the unboxing but I’ve forgotten. Camping spot is cool

I learned the hard way not to camp right on/by water in the Scottish Highlands unless you want to be eaten alive by midges. The swarms they have are next level.

Yeah I’ve gotten more after this video. Only one more camping item, a toilet paper holder and I love that. Everything else I’ve gotten not camping related was good. Camping gear from them with no name is kinda cheap. Thanks for watching
@@AdventureswithSpackmann thanks for replying .... yes few things I've had been fine under cupboard lights only 2 pound work great ... slippers are great too and got some clothes through today true to size yeah you can tell its cheap made but clothes feel good ... not bought camping gear as I no longer camp but I wouldn't mind trying their camping table to put stove on for garden but not yet seen any camping tables on UA-cam yet to tell if it's OK or not ... loved watching just shame that the tarp leaked ...

Ive bought a few things off temu, my main issue is shipping time, Im amazon spoiled and even whine when they take 3-5days...shrug... cool idea with the tripod, you can usually find them in thrift stores cheap because the camera shoe is missing.. Thats a beautiful place to camp even if you werent over the creek.. I think I would have set the stove upwind or at least had a smudge fire to chase the bugs, I have an inexpensive bed canopy thats made of fine netting, its like a whole body bug net or can be draped over the truck etc.. WOW you did not have a great night huh.. they call that a sunshade right? They dont claim its water resistant? Still not a bad deal once you spray it with repellent
Ad says waterproof. Shipping is crazy for sure. My night was fun lol. The tripod I got at a yard sale for $1 cause it’s missing the shoe lol. Thanks for watching
hindsight is always 20/20 or is it retrospect is always 20/20? regardless a small back up bag with known gear like a small fire kit, flashlight and a compact/pocket poncho is always a good idea.. The pocket poncho I carry barely covers me as a poncho but works as a small tarp, you can get a whole handful for under $10

Yea, na. There's always reasons why something is a really cheap price 😂 😂 😂 At least you survived though. Dangerous situation they put you in with the products not fit for purpose. This is why I watch the gear review channels lol. Cook set looked good but hard to mess up something that simple, be interesting to see if it warps and how long those handles last though
Yeah it could had been very dangerous. well more dangerous lol. The problem with the tarp was it’s not made for the hammock, I got it separately and it was the biggest triangle tarp they had. Yeah warping could begin to be a problem but I would see the handles falling off first. Thanks for watching

I know you though, you had a safe backup, at worst head back to the truck, we all do it if necessary unless actually out alone completely in the wilds. I'm sorry to tell you but that tent is gonna get you all wet 😂 It's a good tent only for good weather. That's why that tent isn't good for rain especially if it's blowing. If the top was shown to the bottom then you might not get wet . But nice try my good friend . Sorry you're all wet on this one .
