    To many screens..I thought we rode bikes to get away from screens. Beautiful bike,good videos,catchy intro.

      Thanks. Power vision displays bike diagnostics. Phone is just there to stay out of my pockets. GPS is there for my Georgia/NC trips where I have no phone service to find gas stations. I don’t ride bikes to stay away from screens. I ride bikes because they are fun to take on curves and feel the road/world. If you don’t like screens you don’t need them. Everyone can have their own style setup for their own reasons

    Curious…with the high bung-king crash bars, did you need to install a fork-shim? I want to do forward controls and noticed the HD site says the BK high bars will work but requires fork shims. Not exactly sure why. Thanks Mate.

    • @RidinDad
      @RidinDad  Рік тому +1

      In the stock fork configuration at full compression the bar will hit the front fender a very small amount. If you can live with that you’re ok. It makes a very small dent.

    As far as function, how do you like the saddlebags? Those are my next purchase but its a lot of cash if they aren't completely worth it

    • @RidinDad
      @RidinDad  3 роки тому +1

      I love them!!! I wish they were bigger truthfully because they’re smaller than they look. But the smallness let’s the bike still look thinner and nimble instead of having huge bags on the back. If you need a ton of storage go leather pros or something else but these are fantastic. And the quality is great for sure. I really love them!

    Ur mechanic recommended keeping the stock tappet cuffs? I'd like to know his justification for that.
    I'm ripping my camchest open here soon, going with a s&s 475 chain drive cam, oil pump/plate, quickie pushrods, s&s tappet cuffs, and lifters.

    • @RidinDad
      @RidinDad  3 роки тому

      He said in his experience with all the builds the tappet cuffs don’t fail in any way unless you have a very high lift cam which you wouldn’t typically have on stock internals

    Hey, I have a 2021 lowrider S crimson Vance & Hines high output etc. I am having a serious problem seeing traffic behind me, tailgaters, cops. My wrists hurt from twisting these things all day. Now I know looking cool is essential but I need to know if someone sells something better. Maybe not ugly but functional. Regards, James.
