HELL YEAH! That's my whip right there! I'm so happy you love it as much as I do brotha
💪🏽 just bought mine.
Great power.
Fun to drive.
Brother!!!!!!😂 love that energy 👏
Good review. Just past 1000 miles on my 22 S. Got it for just under $20k out the door with all taxes and fees. That 117 is an awesome stock motor. I don’t get serious wind at the chest until 70 mph unless there is a headwind. It is incredible fast and responsive. I added V&H Slip-Ons with the quiet baffles (trust me, it will pop your ears all ride without), LED all around from Kuryakyn, Saddlemen SDC seat, matching bronze short levers, mustache guard, passenger pegs and a sissy bar.
How’d you get it so low? No sales tax in your state?
I just bought a 2023 FXLRS and your mod list is exactly what I want to do with mine. I wrote it down lol
Just bought one tonight . Had dealer put a 2BR black pipe on it. Sounds excellent. Looks like a Superglide of the 70's. With this pipe, it looks badass. The neighbors are going love me coming in and heading out.C'est la vie.
It’s good if you don’t like your neighbours 😂
@@user-vw4rv7em1k I don't. Love rattling their dentures.
Nice! Glad you rode this one! I have a 2020 Low rider S and had to relocate my gauges to the top clamp for the exact reasons you mentioned. The tank size is the same between the 2020 and newer models with 5 gallons though. Really liking the test ride videos!
There it is! I bought this bike knowing that Harley did a great job with it. You just confirmed it since I KNOW you know what you're talking about. Great + simple review!
Glad seeing a guy my size ride a bike, gives me a visual of how it would look like if I get on a bike. Great review cant wait to get mine.
Glad you're doing bike reviews.Helps me make decisions.Trust your input..👍
I love my 2022 Low Rider S. Only thing is after adding a mustache engine guard, the air cleaner gets in the way of putting your right foot up.
I got one a couple months ago and LOVE IT. I had a Street Bob with a 131 motor, and as much as I loved that, as soon as I rode a stock LR-S, I knew I wanted that instead. Between the longer range and most of all the way that inverted front end handles the corners, this is DEFINITELY the best Softail they make right now. (It's also in the shop now getting a 131 of its own!)
I even decided to keep the mid-controls (I put forwards on the StreetBob) just because it helps controlling those corners.
I will say that I would have preferred the dual-guage on the tank, but that's just nostalgia because that's what made the LR unique from the other Dynas. But the new gauge is still nice and easy to view with the 6" risers I put on it.
I agree, I loved the tank bib gauges more too. I think you can get the FXLRST or FXSB little led gauges and put them on the clamps here to reduce clutter
thank you for your service homie. great review!
Got a lowrider st. Love the bike. I got back into riding because of your videos man.
Had the 2022 low rider S loved it, but ended up on the Low Rider ST haha, comes with everything I wanted to do to the low rider S already, also the turn signals are self cancelling and it does have a gear indicator
Good video! I’m glad to see you on a Harley finally 😆
Love seeing you on Harleys brotha 🙏🏼💪🏼💯🏍️💨
Man I am just loving the bike ride alongs great video’s
this is my dream bike right now, and ride along with the exact same bike is great for a review like this !
Great Review, thanks. Was that rain, in Southern California?
The blinkers automatically turn off on Harleys and this has been the case for more than 20 years.
But pressing the button a second time also turns them off.
Thanks Greg. That is a nice bike! Why did I rush and go down to a Triumph 660 and still have Sportster 1200 low. My dream bike is the Fast Johnny Low Rider.
Love this bike! Was a huge upgrade from my 48 Sportster!
is it better than the 48 ?
Throw a set of forward controls, saddleman 2 up seat with back rest, and a taller windscreen ( Memphis shades after market etc ) a set of soft or hard case bags on it and your set. Ive always liked the Lowrider S Nice bikes. Good job Harley!!Thank you for the review
I'm 6'5" and love the mids. The control and agility is much better
Hope you do a review of the lowrider ST and the Chief DH and Scout Rogue. Would be a good baseline on stock for those in the market.
Great review. Glad to see you riding some American iron!
I love Greg's reviews. I don't think the man has ever ridden a bike he didn't like. I'm right there with you buddy. All bikes are awesome.
thanks, all bikes are fun :)

I have a 23. Love it. First and second little bet of a pain in city traffic.
I appreciate your positive review. Thank you!
Thanks for the review, I have the 2019 love it, wish Harley offered the newer version in chrome tho,😢
all of you who have been trying the new Low Rider S since 2022, you are full of praise for the gauge which you find better placed on the top clamp, I'm sorry but I prefer my two gaugess on my tank console, I find that that has been part of the signature of this model since 1977 and it's no problem to lower your head a little from time to time to read the informations...
Best regards from France.
What gloves do you wear? Are they D3O gloves?
Also, I want to say thank you. You are such a hero man, doing what you do and the dedication you give to yourself, your bike, and to us, is just remarkable. I started following you back in 2019 when i decided to take the MC license and practiced using your techniques. And since then I’ve realized that the most rewarding and fun part of riding is actually riding slow and technical. There is no better feeling going fast or slow, but knowing you have FULL control over your bike and your abilities. Again, thank your for showing the way and inspiring riders
Ride safe brother. ✊🏽
Lee parks gloves
Love the Harley review!
Thanks for this informative and honest review video
A good set of bags for this bike is the Nelson Rigg NR400 kit.
Great review! Nice that the bike earned a 100% clean sheet. 👌
One point I found interesting, is that something so naked suffered no wind issues, whereas the BMW R18 you rode recently, was fitted with a front screen yet caused buffeting of your chest from about 40-50mph upwards. The reverse of what I expected!!
Smaller windshields can sometimes have the opposite effect intended where they will redirect wind directly into your chest or face. Experienced it quite a bit with mini-fairings and screens.
@@stevem4783 I'm sure you are right.
It amazes me that BMW allowed their premium motorcycle to go into production without first identifying and curing that problem and the excessive vibration.
@@glynhannaford7332 It's not really a BMW-specific issue, sometimes it's how the rider sits on the bike. Someone who is 6'4" and wide is gonna have different issues with wind than someone who is 5'8" and skinny, you know?
@@stevem4783 Thanks Steve, I get the point in principle.
But when you consider the wind was hitting square in the chest, stature is only relevant to riders under 3 feet 6 inches because everyone taller than that will get battered somehow.
You're having way too much fun withb these test rides. Well deserved and thanks for letting us tage along-- albeit on video.
Its a Barrel of Monkeys!!!
Was hooked and purchased after doing a highway pull on the Demo…
BMW logo in the mirror was kinda funny.
You should do a video on your favorite bikes from all of these test rides.
What a surprise seeing you aboard a Harley. You branching out?
F!&$ love this bike! Picked up a gunship gray in Aug.
The tank capacity has not changed since twenty-twenty model only the indicators were moved to the handlebar.
I put a luggage rack on my 2021 model...super easy to install, and works well to strap down a bag for a couple overnighters
nice
instagram.com/motojitsuclub/
Its one of the best looking cruisers. Wich makes it all the more mindboggling that they put that stripe of matblack plastic on the tank even tho the guages are moved WHYYYYY 😲
Harley wastes nothing. They probably had some of that stuff left over and slapped that garbage on
@@MarvFitBikesKicks 😂
I am only 5"6 and i thought the pegs were far too high when i rode it. My knee would be up against the a/c as well. The seat and handles bars felt good with a locked in feeling but pushed to the front. Unfortunately , even with short legs i could not handle the foot peg height and sitting at the fuel tank.
Nice riding gear
How’s wind deflection? I had a road king special and the wind was awful… turned me into a human parachute. Wondering if that little fairing helps at all.
Torn between one of these & the 17 Dyna lowrider S!
Just bought one 2 hours ago! 💨
Gonna test drive this
Wish this bike had the digital gauge with Navi. It’s to expensive not to have it
Stunning looking bike all it needs is a nice set of loud pipes and a SCREAMIN EAGLE air filter
Everyone rags on Harleys. Old tech, slow, etc. But the truth is that there is a reason they're so popular and that's because they are a quality motorcycle. Not gonna win many races but it gets you around comfortably and they handle well despite what some people say.
Which better 🤔 this bike or heritage classic ?
If I was gonna buy a Harley, it’d be this or the ST for sure.
Havent ridden a low rider s yet but most super bike so been watching all the youtube videos so i bought a new 2024 in uk
Hopfully ill be happy with it as most people are
instagram.com/motojitsuclub/
My son and I bought 2 I identical bikes 2023 fortwayne indiana right before Christmas, same as the one he is riding
Turn signals are self-cancelling in sharp turns.
Beautiful bike
What gloves do you use?
There you go again, I want one!
Have you reviewed a Yamaha mt07?
Great review, just picked up a 2022 and this video helped me decide. Keep it up bro 👍
would this be too much for a first bike? I've been riding enduro and trials bike for couple of years
Always wanted one but must admit to being pretty spoiled by my GS. Still, can't help looking... :)
22 Street Bob next? Let’s go!!
I’m 6’1”. Do you think my legs would be too high up on this bike?
U can drive without Lizenz plate?
I still cannot figure out if they really raised the rear on the Low Rider S. They definitely raised it up on the Low Rider ST... but then a lot of people say they didn't on the S, it was only the ST, then a lot of other people say they did it on both the S and ST.... who knows...
what brand of glove please
Very nice bike 👍 Great review matey 🏍😀 🇭🇲🕺🥤
Wow nice review dude. I think you just sold me a Harley.
Can you ride a honda 1100dct? :)
As an ex HD rider it's just a shame how hideously expensive they are now here in the UK
With all these new bike test drives; If you could have only one bike, what would it be?
Great video onr of the best ever adam s has great videos also
Love my 22.
Love it
you should test ride the Indian motorcycles, id like to see the Chief or Scout
The Low RIder S is a nice machine. The Low Rider XT isn't low so Im confused.
That is the bike I want
Nice ride. How would that do with a shorter rider, say 5 ft 5 ish? I'm looking at going to a harley once i can afford to do so
I think you should be fine. I am 5' 3" and I ride a 2022 Harley Street Bob with no issues.
Sold my 1992 fxdc Dyna wide glide and missing riding already.
It is a toss up as a 6'2 120kg rider over the:
Triumph Speed Twin 1200
or
This whip.

only 20k + famous HD surcharges!
Love a big-ass gas tank.
You're wrong about the all day comfort. The stock seat is very iffy. The wind blast on the freeway will wear you out in an hour tops. And the stock bars will wreck your wrists and elbows, you'll have a lot of trouble getting going in day two.
The suspension has excessive compression damping, resulting in a harsh ride.
I own one.
For you, not for everyone
@@MotoJitsu I have 620,000 miles on motorcycles; I've been in every one of the lower 48 and every Canadian province on a Harley. I've done well over a hundred 800 mile days.
I've published articles on how to make horsepower and how suspension works. And I'm quite good at motorcycle aerodynamics.
You could do far worse than to listen to me.
And someone else could find that the same bike is comfortable all day. All that experience and still can’t understand that?
These come with ABS…might want to make that correction 😊
They have same tank size from 2020-2022
How do you compare it to the Indian Scout Bobber ?
Scout bobber sits pretty low compared to this. The suspension isn’t as great on the scout bobber. The ride is a little better on the LRS but it better be for the price.
I like this bike, but have only seen one in that ugly grey color or the ST version with that horrible fairing. They should have made the speedometer analog instead of the tach though. Glad they didn't put forward controls on it too.
Literally other then being black and a harley it's extremely different then the SOA bikes
Sempre fi Devil dog 😎
Would you consider testing some KTM bikes? 390 for example ?
He did the duke
@@1PercentRealtyVI Thanks Darren
Would this be a good beginner bike?
I had a 2001 low rider, of course not as powerful as this one but in terms of weight, I kinda wish I would have gotten a lighter weight bike as my first bike. I’m a light weight guy 145lbs 5’8”. I never had major issues with the weight but a lighter bit would have made me feel a bit more comfortable.
Btw, all the softail models used to come with abs until this year when it became optional due to supply chain problems.
Also, the previous model FXLRS has a 5 gallon tank as well. Not a 4 gallon. The gauges on the tank aren't really a problem. Not for me anyway. I've owned a 21 model for years now and I love it. The biggest upgrade is that engine. From 114 to 117. I do wish I had that, but I would never remove the gauges from my tank. That's classic Harley!
Only optional in USA , European market comes with abs standard
SD ❤❤❤
Yo do you live in San Diego ? I do and I also have a 22 low rider s if you want to collaborate and ride
Would you recommend this bike for first time riders?
No
instagram.com/motojitsuclub
I think it is a fun bike but when you try to use tire gauge or put air in the rear tire IT IS more than a pain in the rear!! That gives me impression that Harley does NOT really care about customers! they can easily put angled valve stem like the touring models!! I had 2021 and 2023 is the same!
Either you were doing 20MPH or the gauge was reading RPM. 🤓
600lbs is the weight of bike I believe
