Oh I agree! but sometimes it's far easier to just do a walk in and this way I explored ground that I would normally kayak past getting to further out spots...Cheers!!!
Went for a dive there today that's buzzy, and that cray you grabbed looking at where you surfaced on that point I think I had a go at the same one under that boulder no luck tho 😂
Hey bro, is there a particular ride you recommend diving on? I’ve heard the best for visibility is high tide, and for someone like me who is working in depth, it’s best for low tide despite the visibility potentially not being as good. Or should I just go whenever suits? Keen to hear your thoughts!
The different views that you get from the walk are the main reason but when I paddle from there I usually end up diving the island and not the coast so it was nice to dive the different area! Cheers!!!
Yeah I've had it since Pro dive NZ came on board and started providing my dive gear, its an awesome bit of kit that not only works exceptionally well it looks great also! I've done a fair bit of shore diving with it now! Cheers!!!
In this video the deepest would be around 10 meters, I can go deeper but usually don't when diving by myself, it reduces the chance of shallow water blackout...Cheers!!!
Stunning spot you've found there! That bag looks pretty handy for shore dives.
Yeah the bag is perfect for shories! Cheers!!!
Amazing part of the country! Can’t believe I only found out this place existed a year ago. Some times taking the long way home is well worth the trip.

Went for a dive there today that's buzzy, and that cray you grabbed looking at where you surfaced on that point I think I had a go at the same one under that boulder no luck tho 😂

I dive any tide, I've not found it makes any difference
oh that's why you didn't paddle around there pretty nice alright
The different views that you get from the walk are the main reason but when I paddle from there I usually end up diving the island and not the coast so it was nice to dive the different area! Cheers!!!
Is that a new bag/backpack mate?
Yeah I've had it since Pro dive NZ came on board and started providing my dive gear, its an awesome bit of kit that not only works exceptionally well it looks great also! I've done a fair bit of shore diving with it now! Cheers!!!
