Great video, perfect balance of information without getting too technical. Thank your son for the use of his whiteboard, illustrations are very helpful. Keep up the great work.
Best and simple explanation I’ve ever seen in this topic. The difference between modem-router-mesh is huge when you are doing the investment to improve your internet connection at home. Keep up the good work. Shout out from México 🇲🇽. It would be nice to do a dive in the router options and benefits.
Thank you for your answer, is great to know that even with a growing channel you take the time to write an answer. By the way I bought the Zeera wireless a few weeks ago and haven’t had any updates from them, hope to know something from them soon.

Mesh video VERY informative for me. Made it all easy to understand. I would have been interested to know if there are mesh systems that also have a combo modem.
Thanks for the feedback and I’m glad it helped. Honestly I have not seen a modem mesh router combo, but that doesn’t mean they don’t exist… recently I reviewed another mesh system that is the least expensive mesh I have ever reviewed and I am currently personally using in my house. Definitely check it out
So do you use the nodes with your modem? Or do they take place of the modem? Thank you? Also does each node need a hardline connection to the ethernet cable? Thanks!
I want to use a mesh network, but my router/modem has all its ports being used (I know it's connected to 1 for a camera system, 1 for solar, 1 for a cloud device). Is there a way to use a mesh network still? Or would it be best to use an extender instead?
yes, basically just buy a switch, like 30-40 dollars at best buy, think of the switch like a 8 way splitter, you connect to one of the ports, and you have 7 extra ports now cheap and easy, plug n play literally, you dont need to configure anything or adjust anything, super simple
Thanks. Your studio is nice, sounds good with the NTG5, but the skin tones look a little bit pale. Why is that?

Can it in a good way combine two internet connections from two points, not just switch between them? Currently I have a router with this possibility. However those connections are not close to each other, and I would need to use a long cable.
hmm... I'm trying to follow your solution... Can you explain a little more

@@EnforcerMan I got ISP A in Room A, and ISP B in Room B. Option 1: Two routers with separate SSID networks, one in room A and one in room B. Option 2: Network cable from room A to room B and connect both ISP (dual WAN) into one router (AC5300 router) in room B. Then I can choose between "fallback/failover" (one fails, use the other) or "load balancer mode" (combine both ISP to one). Could a mesh system help me with connect ISP A into router A and ISP B into router B, and throw away the cable between room A and room B in option 2? I would prefer this option 3.
I’m my opinion routers “can be faster” but the speed and connection may not be as consistent through out the house… so depends on what you need it for, either can be a good solution… another advantage of mesh system is you end up having hardwire options throughout the house as well for example the main modem and my house is in the first floor and I have one of the mesh nodes in the third floor in my studio and I can just plug-in a data cable into the node for much faster than any Wi-Fi connection. I hope that makes sense
Recently I tested a very inexpensive but impressive Mesh for only $69. I don’t have the link with me… check out my latest video (tech gift ideas) and you’ll see it there
My Internet antivirus guy calls me every month from India to renew and charge me for my antivirus services. Luckily my computers never gotten a virus thanks for paying monthly and he’s help me with anything I’ve ever needed and he’s only level one technician I would imagine that this guy is probably what a level 10 technician sounds like 👍🏾

Thanks for the review. Do they work with Helix F videotron internet provider?

Only one node need to be hard wired to the modem and the other 2 just plug in the power somewhere in your house for a good distribution and coverage

Chadwick Boseman! :)
I'm a big fan of Kurt Russell; particularly in The Thing.
really useful recommendation
Glad it was helpful!
Does this system work with a t-mobile home internet gateway?
It should. You would essentially connect it to your modem/router by your provider and get signal that way.
Tom Hanks has done so many great movies.

For a 5000sq ft. home 2 story. What is the preferred system to get? Modem & POWERFUL Router, Powerful modem -router combo, or mesh system?
