I just discovered this channel, I seriously never subscribe to anyone on UA-cam. But as a Cisco networking student, the way you explain precisely and carefully is just beyond amazing. The way you explain some of these topics, on top of the simplistic but effective visuals is astounding. You are doing a great job spreading the knowledge of the world of networking, keep doing what your doing man.

You did justice to this topic. You are not only thorough and precise but spoke slowly and stressed and repeated your point with concise examples. Let me also add; no disruption of sounds on the back ground like others do.
I understood everything you said. Thank you so much!

I didn’t learn much in school, but learnt so much through self education (through books and UA-cam & google) basically studying what interests me, instead of being put into a box at school & forced to study 📖 subjects that bored me out of my mind. The social aspect of school is nice though.

@Vera Don't feel bad, you're not the only "dumb" person when it comes to tech. With work at home, I now have two devices that I need to connect to the internet via a corded ethernet connection. My work laptop, and my personal computer. I connected an ethernet switch to my modem, and connected the laptop and PC to the switch. I could not figure out why only one computer would connect to the internet at a time. I thought the switch was faulty. I called my cable company, and the tech guy who answered the phone told me that I need a router, one with multiple ethernet jacks on the back. Previously, I thought that you use a router if you want wifi, and you use a switch if you want a corded ethernet connection.

    • @hamsterama

@Vera Hi Vera! Yep, I got my problem figured out. I'm buying a router, one without wifi capabilities. We're supposed to leave out work computer on through the evenings, because that's when security updates are pushed. Anyway, I'm definitely no computer nerd, I know just enough to get by.🤣

That was the best explanation anyone could have given! I sincerely hope you have given serious thought to a career in teaching, on some way/level. Maybe even a textbook/tutorial writer in multiple mediums.

you are the best computer teacher i have encountered on youtube!
you speak very plain english. you talk at a spead of 50 mph and NOT at a spead of 150 to 200 mph. it seems that today everyone wants to talk faster than anyone else as if they are in a race. now i will go and watch some of your other videos. it is very hard to find good teachers. you are one.
    thank you very much.
