Not learning the spell while Helen casts it in front of us is such a tease.
Is this some kind of indication that the patronus option WILL eventually be in the game?
(I personally think they should make all the various patronus animals as individual DLC 4 purchase...)

The issue would be the patronus itself.
Why its very Hard for fun factor having the spell be Hard in Video games isnt possible.
Then they would need to make the assets from the quiz. I think they beter keep dementors for a sequel.

Every houses have their own exclusive side quest that link to the main quest. In other way, each house have their own way to solve the main quest.
In this case Hufflepuff going through azkaban, Ravenclaw go with olivanter family treasure, etc
Quidditch, and the patronus will almost for sure be a DLC item
and chamber of secrets

@@JavierBori787 there is so much potential for DLC and even full sequels, so I hope avalanche keeps this going. The game is amazing, but there is a HUGE amount of potential that is untapped. This could be:
Azkaban
Patronus
Quidditch
New world locations
Access to the other wizarding world schools (Brazil specifically would have been an amazing option, read up on JKs story for that)
Adding more in depth physics to manipulate the world more
Add more intriguing side characters and story
Add a cooperative feature
Utilize the train like RDR2 does, make it rideable and more importantly crashable
The list goes on and on
I hope they will add a dlc with patronus and dementor story line

Exactly they got every other enemy but no dementors not even in the open world the only quest u only see them in one side quest but u have to be in fucking hufflepuff to do the quest and they have basically every other spell from the Harry Potter universe including unforgivable curses but no Patronus
god I want a fully modelled Azkaban done as well as hogwarts
I’m super into mystery/detective stuff so this quest hit all the marks for me. It just so happened that I’m a Hufflepuff and actually got to see it :)

Expecto Patronum is such an iconic and well known spell that I am surprised you are not able to cast it.
I am not suprised actually. In Harry Potter they made it very clear that Harry was something else when he was able to cast a Patronum spell at his age, since this spell would take years to develop. It would tear credibility if somehow everyone else is able to do it as well. And by the way, instead of the Patronum, you have something else unique: Ancient magic.
Patronus is only effective against Denentors anyway. Gonna be useless pretty much throughout the whole game
Nice to see that in this they gave the Dementors hoods again at least. Never liked the designs they used in the fifth film and onwards.
The ones in the third movie were much better.
To be honest, that's how they are described in the books.

I have high hopes that this was a sneak peek at maybe a Azkaban dlc in the future. I don't see why they would make this whole new place for one exclusive quest. Same with the dementors, this is the only way you can actually see or encounter them in the game. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. We also never had any explanation to what happen to the woman.
I hope youre on to something here. Companion mod reveals voice lines that were recorded and then taken out. Quidditch Pitches exist in strange villages as though youd play a game there. Your character has a line about how they wish someone were able to witness the great things you do on your own. Game needed like a half year to finish.
had no idea it was exclusive huffle puff quest, just went with the house as it described me, although my wizarding profile was slitherin. without aiming for it, i got to experience an exclusive mission

The inside of Azkaban isn’t at all what I thought it would be, I expected dementors but I thought it would be darker.

your patronus can lead your way wherever you heart needs to go. I want a mission where Ranrok’s goons has kidnapped Professor Fig and Ranrok has almost tortured him to death. like he’s barely alive. now i have to learn the patrons charm from professor weasley. that means i would also have to confess to her what is really going on. she then learns about it all and that professor fig is indeed in trouble. she teaches me the patrons charm and i cast it so my patronus can lead me to where they’re keeping professor fig. then you go save him.

They knew Hufflepuff would be the least popular house so they added in an exclusive quest just to rub it in lol thankfully I chose Hufflepuff for my first play through
Not necessarily. They recently released a movie Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Newt was in Hufflepuff.
So the devs will had loads of creatures into the game but refused to make white variants to appear from the wand and release a white light upon impact into the game for a spell everyone wanted?

Hufflepuff have more soft skills that Griffindor doesn't have. And you could see that in Harry Potter movies. He yelled at Cho Chang acussing her of betrayal although it was not her her fault because she was druged by Umbrich with verita serum. Griffindors have warrior mentality and are not the most understanding. You'd rather have a more diplomatic person in such situation

It’s curious because I never got the mission, but I found it better the way I solved it. Azkaban is not that awesome . To be fair is terrible and you can’t even travel back there again, so why would I care.
It's a Hufflepuff exclusive. Every house had an exclusive quest that lead to jackdaw.
