It really made for an awesome experience where I'd get lost for hours. By far my favorite part were night missions, especially sneaking through the library. Excellent games!
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban for PS2 will always be a favourite of mine! I loved that you got to switch between the main 3 and going through the puzzle chambers to get the spells like glacius and carpe retractum was always so much fun! Plus it had the eyetoy feature which I used to play with my sister's that I adored.. Plus I wasn't able to play the chamber of secrets for a long time because I was too scared of the sneak sequences around the prefects 😭
Chamber of Secrets PC version to me will always be the best. Grew up with that game and the sheer number of secrets you could unlock in that game kept me hooked for hours. I once went round to a friends house who had it aswell but he wasn't quite as good as me at sussing out the secrets rooms and passages you could find. I ended up getting him 2 extra health bars in the space of an hour which he didn't even realise was a thing if you got 10 bronze cards. Even to this day if I watch the odd video on the game there are still small areas / things I never noticed. It had so much replay value
These games were so awesome when I was growing up. I used to be excited for every release. The prisoner of Azkaban was my favorite. 2000 kids had it so good with gaming.
To be honest I think the best by far was Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. I loved the character switching and the puzzles and gameplay was very fun
FACT- It wasn't until the Year 3 when the games started getting more movie accurate than book accurate. By year 4 they became even more movie accurate. By year 5 and beyond, they became as movie accurate as you can get.
Pick up your cross and follow Jesus! The world is quickly headed for destruction, and sooner or later you will have to sit at the judgement seat and give an account for your actions. Belief in messiah alone is not enough to grant you salvation - Matthew 7:21-23, John 3:3, John 3:36 (ESV is the best translation for John 3:36). Call on the name of Jesus and pray for Him to intervene in your life! - Revelation 3:20. Contemplate how the Roman Empire fulfilled the role of the beast from the sea in Revelation 13. Revelation 17 confirms that it is in fact Rome. From this we can conclude that A) Jesus is the Son of God and can predict the future or make it happen, B) The world leaders/nations/governments etc have been conspiring together for the last 3000+ years going back to Babylon and before, C) History as we know it is fake. You don't really need to speculate once you start a relationship with God tho. Can't get a response from God? Fasting can help increase your perception and prayer can help initiate events. God will ignore you if your prayer does not align with His purpose (James 4:3) or if you are approaching Him when "unclean" (Isaiah 1:15, Isaiah 59:2, Micah 3:4). Stop eating food sacrificed to idols (McDonald's, Wendy's etc) stop glorifying yourself on social media or making other images of yourself (Second Commandment), stop gossiping about other people, stop watching obscene content etc and you should get a response. Have a blessed day!
I've only played the order of the Phoenix. It's been 13 years or something but I remember having so much fun with it. Throwing couches to people's heads was amazing
out of all of these games, i've only played: chamber of secrets (the pc version), the half blood prince and deathly hallows part 1 (both on xbox 360). out of these 3 i would honestly say that half blood prince was actually a great game, arguably the best harry potter game coming from EA because it had almost everything: using the right stick to cast spells, engaging in dueling and have dueling clubs in hogwarts, all of which can teach you new spells and make your existing ones more effective, you could brew potions and that one i remember was really fun, you could play quiddich but that was honestly my least favorite thing about half blood prince, and best of all being able to openly explore hogwarts with all its detailed areas. i didn't know about the new game to be released in 2022 but it does look like it's gonna be the best harry potter game to date if all the claims and features become a reality. hopefully they don't pull a cyberpunk 2077 on us.
Ohhh what a beautiful video. I never got into the older games and now that I am thirty and have a job and can buy whatever the heck I want, I actually really enjoyed Hogwarts Legacy on the switch.
I loved harry potter 3 on PS2. When I was a little kid I used to play it all the time and even learnt some english because of it. Also flying on hypogrif >>
Order of the Phoneix was just amazing with the fact you can just explore the entire castle! Still waiting on a new Quidditch World Cup game or remaster somehow!
When I think about 'The chamber of secrets' on PS2 I always get emotional. That game really made my childhood. I loved it so much. Sure I had tons of heartattacks like when you have to get away from Filch in the library or the stuff in Borgin and Burkes. But to me it felt like THE closest I'd get to the Harry Potter experience. Not much later I fell in love with World Cup. To me it doesn't get the appreciation it deserves. It was so cool. Had so many great hours with it. And I even play it these days, when I get my PS2 out just to play it. Well, I didn't play Azkaban and Goblet of Fire, don't know why actually. When I joined the train of HP games again, it was with Order of the phoenix and that one was really cool. Different. It was fun to let all the stuff fly and to move freely in Hogwarts. Like with the previous games, I don't get why it's not so appreciated, but ok. Half Blood Prince had good moments, i think. But yeah, didn't catch me like those others. And the Deathly Hallows really were not my cup of tea. So yup. Overall I enjoyed the games. And I do honestly miss them so much. I'd love if they'd do some remastered versions. High Quality and better gameplay. I'm sure many would go for it! Buuuuut.. I haven't been as stoked for a game as I am for Hogwarts Legacy in many many years. Just seeing these snippets of it in here, I'm on fire again. 🔥 Hopefully it's coming soon.
I couldn’t get passed the Diagon Alley part of Chamber of Secrets for so long cause I was too scared to go into Borgin and Burkes and get chased by that man. Terrifying stuff as a child 😂
Chamber of Secrets for PC will always be my favorite! The music, challenges! Loved it! The sad thing is that I could no longer play it on my PC, I think because I have a newer PC so, it does not work. 😖 I still have fun memories of playing it! 🥰😊
I do have to say order of the Phoenix was probably my favorite harry potter game due to the fact you had to memorize the spells and could manually cast them using the right anaolog stick to move Harry's arm
Pc version took this to an even better level since you had to cast those spells moving your mouse in the right pattern. very criminally underrated game in general tbh, and very likely the 2nd best main series harry potter game behind prisoner of azkaban, ofcourse...
when I was in my Harry Potter "phase" I had a fun time with games, but one game that I found most fun is Harry Potter: Hogwarts mystery. In the covid time when I was on primary I played it all day on my laptop while the teacher was explaining online, it was such a wonderful RPG game with good quality. Its kind of like legacy, but this doesn't really find place in a time, and you dont have to battle. Its a very peacefull game where you can play quidditch, attend classes, take care of animals, duelling club everything that they had in the movie!
Order of the phoenix on PS2 will forever be the best one for me with the story, open exploration and the fact that almost anything AND anyone could be the victim of your spells. Genuinely shocking it was the "worst rated" by critics
@@danksquidward Me too. I had it on PS3 and I loved the big immersive world, how you could just explore Hogwarts and have all these sidequests and side challenges to do; running magical errands, playing chess, playing marbles, the NPC dialogue in the background, exploring hidden places, and some of the large-scale views of Hogwarts were breathtaking. I don't even remember much of the main story but that game really made me feel like I was walking through the same Hogwarts as the movies.
I hope they have chess in hogwarts legacy. Make a ravenclaw student a beast in wizards chess. If you pick ravenclaw, only you can hear him/her (the best ranked player) celebrate every time they get a win. So you can either beat them or let them stay champion throughout the year. Let each house have something unique going on throughout the entire years gameplay. Idk. Ps: was just thinking. Slytherins can have a snape/lily type situation where you can help the guy avoid the same mistakes Snape did with lily. Or you can watch a relationship shatter into pieces, little by little while you watch things unfold in the common room. lol evil yes, entertaining? Most definitely; if well written. I'll add if I come up something for griffyndor/hufflepuff.
One of my favorite games will always be HP and the Prisoner of Azkaban. I played it when i was a kid so much, i always loved and enjoyed the gameplay as well. I also played the first part, second, the quiddich cup, the fourth and the fifth, but nothing can replace Prisoner of Azkaban in my opinion
Damn, I just feel so old at this point. If I could, I could go back to the early 2000s, a time where things were much more simpler. No drama, no covid, nothing.
The prizoner of azkaban is the most nostalgic for me. I remember playing it on my dads pc, it was scary but also fun Recently downloaded it again and it was like i remembered
I really enjoyed Prisoner of Azkaban on the PC. It has a card collection system which is one of the objectives players must complete in order to formally finish the game. The cards gave a lot of information on the lore of Harry Potter Universe (the monsters, the wizards & witches, etc.) that the movies or even the novels didn't give us before, and that amazed me at the time. Chamber of Secrets was fun as well, although I think the contents were not as rich as the third game. The thing I remember the most was dueling, where expelliarmus was the strongest spell (basically you can climb to the highest rank with this spell alone), as well as the great improvement of control from the first game; the game control was kinda awful and I never passed the box-pushing event before Quirrell. Goblet of Fire was where I dropped the series altogether. I can recall that there are some interesting mechanics, but the good old game control issue still gave me frustrating time. I think the game was aiming at playing sticks and console primarily, and it's just unfriendly to me as a PC player; I can't cast the spells or even finish most of the moves properly with only keyboard and mouse as character's movements didn't feel smooth and strangely travelled everywhere (or maybe I just sucked).
You forgot to mention that the Chamber of Secrets PS2 version was different than the XBOX and GameCube versions. The levels were the same, but the PS2 version was much harder as there were Prefects everywhere at Hogwarts during night time levels, while in the GameCube and XBOX version the Prefects were only in certain areas in the castle such as the Library and Slytherin Dungeons. Also, when you went in the Grounds in the XBOX and GameCube versions, you couldn't explore freely like the PS2 version. They'd transport you to the specific area you intend on going to.
Harry potter and the Sorcerer stone is the first videogames I have ever played, this introduced me to a huge adiccion that I still carry on after 20 years.
As a Harry Potter fan I enjoyed all the games till DH part 2 and have replayed them a couple times, Idk what these critics are on about. Also Order of the phoenix and Half blood prince deserves all the love just for the satisfying exploration of an accurate Hogwarts and inclusion of all the Characters voiced by the movie actors
Also hear me out. Imagine a virtual reality game where you have to flic your wand in a certain way to do various spells and also do stuff like potion making, play quidditch etc. Something like Ravenclaw VR but just on a much bigger scale.
That's interesting... I didn't know the 5th game scored so poorly among critics. I should say I truly enjoyed it as one of the last games I played on my ps2... I mean, it's not fantastic, and I knew that, but somehow I found the battle mechanics pretty decent and fun, and the recreation of Hogwarts was very impressive, especially considering how old the ps2 was by the time the game was released...
Used to love the Harry Potter games, had sorcerers stone chamber of secrets and prisoner of Azkaban on PC. And order of Phoenix on wii, thanks for posting.
The first three Harry Potter PC games were some of my favorites, along with Quidditch World Cup, but Hogwarts Legacy is definitely going to blow those out of the water, and honestly, it's what the crappy Hogwarts Mystery should have been.

@@VinylLPFreak what does that have to do with anything I said? I meant the books. This guy spoiled everyone who died in the series, he could've atleast put a spoiler warning. God damn.
@@nathanfracasse6645 The last book came out 14 years ago. If anyone is getting spoiled it's their fault not the people talking about it. If they haven't finished the books don't scroll down to the comments, or don't watch the video. It's that easy. If a person doesn't want a story spoiled then they should make it their responsibility to not be spoiled, not depend on other people to warning label everything whenever they want to make a comment about it. I read all the books and watched the movies last year for the first time. Not a single thing spoiled, because I didn't click on videos, read comments, or type questions in google that would obviously talk about the series.

Xbox one s and x can play in 4k
@@9Jaker9 only Xbox one x can play in 4K. Xbox one s is literally the digital version of the Xbox one.
if it is released for the console, then maybe they have took that into consideration, at least playable gameplay i guess?
@@9Jaker9 it's upscaled
It had so much replay value
its undebatable factual truth by now
These games were so awesome when I was growing up. I used to be excited for every release. The prisoner of Azkaban was my favorite. 2000 kids had it so good with gaming.
We really did. I wish to go back to the 2000s, a time where things were much more simpler back then. Where did the good times go?
To be honest I think the best by far was Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. I loved the character switching and the puzzles and gameplay was very fun
It was my favourite as well. I really really loved the transfiguration lessons where you could control a dragon or bunny
@@woulfman9693 just so you could almost never use these amazing spells outside of the challange again very saddening it could have been so much better
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban was my favorite, playing as the rabbits and dragons was cool :)
Why did you skip the Gameboy Color version of Chamber of Secrets? That was one of the most iconic games in the saga
Agree, also the Sorcerer's Stone on GBC was one of the best!
Yes. I played both that and the first. The GBC games are so underrated.
out of all of these games, i've only played: chamber of secrets (the pc version), the half blood prince and deathly hallows part 1 (both on xbox 360). out of these 3 i would honestly say that half blood prince was actually a great game, arguably the best harry potter game coming from EA because it had almost everything: using the right stick to cast spells, engaging in dueling and have dueling clubs in hogwarts, all of which can teach you new spells and make your existing ones more effective, you could brew potions and that one i remember was really fun, you could play quiddich but that was honestly my least favorite thing about half blood prince, and best of all being able to openly explore hogwarts with all its detailed areas.
i didn't know about the new game to be released in 2022 but it does look like it's gonna be the best harry potter game to date if all the claims and features become a reality. hopefully they don't pull a cyberpunk 2077 on us.
I loved the Order of Phoenix game, it was one of my fav games on ps2
Good times
Hopefully it's coming soon.
The Quiddich game was awesome !
Those PC covers of the Harry Potter 1 & 2 games bring back so many memories. I miss being a kid
Man... I love your voice and toning, you are a great story teller! Subscribed!
I couldn’t get passed the Diagon Alley part of Chamber of Secrets for so long cause I was too scared to go into Borgin and Burkes and get chased by that man. Terrifying stuff as a child 😂
OOOH SAME HERE!! It took me 6 freaking months to get ginny,s stuff😭😭
I was 7 btw
Quidditch world cup was absolutely UNREAL
Chamber of Secrets for PC will always be my favorite! The music, challenges! Loved it! The sad thing is that I could no longer play it on my PC, I think because I have a newer PC so, it does not work. 😖
I still have fun memories of playing it! 🥰😊
You could buy an old laptop for less money :) Like I do!
Philosopher Stone, Chamber of Secrets and Azkaban are my favorites, also played them in the childhood
Ah yes, The PS1 Hagrid
Really wish we could get a modern remaster for some of these games.
qudditch world cup remains one of my favorite games ever, hope we get a remake or another quidditch game of some kind
Sorcerer's Stone PC is the epitome of nostalgia for me. I still remember every sound, cutscene and room. Those were magical times indeed 🤍
I remember a long time ago playing Harry potter chamber of secrets on my cousins ps2 we would play it all the time.... So many memories
Hey I’m from the future. Hogwarts legacy will age very very well!
when I was in my Harry Potter "phase" I had a fun time with games, but one game that I found most fun is Harry Potter: Hogwarts mystery.
This aged like fine wine. Hogwarts Legacy is one of the best single player games of all time.
2005 was my childhood i remember I had that on the game cube so much memory's 🥺🥺🥺
Order of the phoenix on PS2 will forever be the best one for me with the story, open exploration and the fact that almost anything AND anyone could be the victim of your spells. Genuinely shocking it was the "worst rated" by critics
I remembefr playing order on phoenix. Good times
SAME
BACK THEN (FOR ME) THOSE WERE INSANE GRAPHICS
I'll add if I come up something for griffyndor/hufflepuff.
man i just loved harry potter chamber of secrets pc , me and my friends used to play it on my low end potato pc whole day , such a nostalgia .
Thanks for summing up the topic so well!
The Lego Harry Potter was literally my childhood and the best for me
Damn, I just feel so old at this point. If I could, I could go back to the early 2000s, a time where things were much more simpler. No drama, no covid, nothing.
I played Chamber of Secrets on PC when it first came out in 2002. I appreciate the video!
Great video, very well done
The prizoner of azkaban is the most nostalgic for me. I remember playing it on my dads pc, it was scary but also fun
Recently downloaded it again and it was like i remembered
I enjoyed all of them! Always loved Harry Potter
I played the Prisoner of Azkaban game on PS2 when I was a kid, I loved it!!
Also hear me out. Imagine a virtual reality game where you have to flic your wand in a certain way to do various spells and also do stuff like potion making, play quidditch etc. Something like Ravenclaw VR but just on a much bigger scale.
THIS IS SUCH A GOOD IDEA
Half Blood Prince was my favorite. Dueling, potions, all you want.
i play sorcerer stone in elementary school, damn what a blast in 2002
Request: The Evolution of Hatsune Miku 2007 - 2021 (JUST DO IT)
That's interesting...
Just saw the State of Play and yo it's going to be 🔥🔥🔥
Such a high quality video, very well made
Used to love the Harry Potter games, had sorcerers stone chamber of secrets and prisoner of Azkaban on PC.
Hope we can choose our blood status and have it reflected in the game.
Turns out it's a pretty damn incredible game.
Such a good evolutionary 🤩
I absolutely loved the Sorcerer's Stone on the PS1 when I was a kid!
The original three games by EA were absolute masterpieces. Ah yes, the nostalgia.
Back when EA was still doing great games.
It definitely helped that Hogwarts Legacy wasn’t made by EA.
EA, I really don’t think Hogwarts or anything Harry Potter related is your thing
- A Harry Potter fan
imagine hogwarts legacy in vr
Oh i remember playing The half blood prince and Lego games. What a bangers
Avalanche was pretty much known for Disney movie tie-in games and Disney Infinity. Their first game after they were acquired by Warner Bros was also a movie tie-in game called Cars 3 Driven To Win.
It's crazy how many people died in harry potter:
but, seeing as though some would take this as a spoiler somehow, spoiler warning.. i guess
Snape
Dumbledore
Cedric
Sirius
Lupin
Tonks
Madeye
Fred
Dobby
The 12 muggles
and literally a quarter of hogarts students
oh and kinda harry too
Bruh you literally could a put a spoiler warning for people who haven't finished them yet
@@nathanfracasse6645 It's not like the main games are more than 10 years old, eh?
@@allbrosdjay this video was about the history of the Harry Potter games. Not the books or the movies. Nothing in this video talks about the plot or story of Harry Potter. The commenter did something completely unrelated to Harry Potter games and just spouted out spoilers of the series, and it's literally one of the top comments. Don't justify spoiling the last book of a series because it's "14 years old, and you shouldn't look at comments" even if that his true, he could've put a spoiler warning and did a read more. It makes it extremely irritating.
You're forgetting one: Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery for the Android and Ios!
I love how this video was basically a long Hogwarts Legacy ad. Honestly though i am really excited about the new game, have been waiting for a HP open world RPG for many years. The closest I've gotten is the G-mod roleplaying servers lol
What a great video. Thank you for this I love the Lego Harry Potter games didn’t really care for much of the others decided to try legacy.
i was obsessed with the first 2 games! i would stay up late playing and fell asleep the night day in class
is no one talking about Hogwarts Mystery? Yes despite the slight micro transactions it has an amazing story.
it forces you to allow yourself to be bullied in the start. no thanks
You forgot a bunch of other ones, including *HOGWARTS MYSTERY.*
I still play Hogwarts mystery I’ve been chillin on year 2 to complete all the side missions
@@reedharrington6954 I played it for a little bit a few years ago and just downloaded it and have been playing again and am almost done with year 1. Is Quidditch as good as I hope it is?
@@love4aliii eh quidditch has a cool separate story like from the main one but the gameplay is a typical timing puzzle which is quite repetitive but I think it’s a cool addition
