sony a7c is better as its designed for videos and cinematography with new color science
pretty good value for money lens, played with it for few days, before settling with sigma 100-400. macro is not possible even with raynox, no magnification.

I am amateur in photography. I have a question that as you said that lens firmware update is also there, so do they also consume battery while we shoot or its only the sensor.
Firmware update has nothing to do with battery
battery is depend on how much you use camera
sometimes photographers are having habit to see clicked photos again and again during the shooting time or some photographers having habit of deleting unwanted images during the shooting time

I disagree.. I just shared my photography experience with tamron 150-500mm f/5-6.7 zoom lens in terms of wildlife ,sports and macro photography. yes you are right no lens is 100% perfect but I highlighted best features as I didn't find anything very major negative about this lens. they should have provided carry case with this lens.I genuinely gave my opinion about this lens whether its sponsored or not. My subscribers and viewers are more important than anything else. I tried this lens for almost 20 days before making this video.
