THANK YOU SO MUCH TO ALL OF YOU FRIENDS! Glad you liked!
My mom and I sing this all the time at karaoke...but I never noticed, until watching you, how that second "please", at the end, drops lower than the first one. Thank you so much!!!
Dear Galeazzo,
I am always impressed and my compliments are probably sounding repetitive to you but as someone who was alive and very young during this time I have to let you know how much I love your videos. This is one of my fav songs. I love the early Beatles. It was so exciting and powerful. Nothing like it before. It was like belonging to something magic. Your explanations are things I always tried to hear on the records, before the stereo versions.
So for me this is dream come true.
I would love if Paul and Ringo would comment on your analysis. This is a very serious and important device to teach the world about how the music was made. Many millions of us want to know. That is why any song that comes out regardless of what it is sells today. We are starving for Beatles music/information.
So thank you so much.
I am a sincere fan of yours.
Paul's Vocals 9:49
Galeazzo, I knew about the single note Paul sings in harmony, but all the little details and the G# are mind-boggling. This is a real gift you bring us. Who would know without your help? Thank you, bro. Love it. When we used to do this in the 60's it was all so simple. NOT! :)
I'm agree friend
This is like watching Einstein demonstrate how "easy" it is to calculate special relativity. The more I watch, the more in awe I am of your gift. I'm also humbled by the certainty that I'll never come close to reproducing the beauty that emanates from your instrument.
This is the best comment I've seen on any of Galeazzo's videos.
I concur with all you say and I just love your Einstein analogy.
Thanks. What can I say, Galeazzo's voice gives me chills. Imagine how Brian Epstein felt the first time he heard the Beatles in the Cavern. I'll bet it's akin to that.
Yep, I'd reckon so.
BTW, are you in Australia?
NY
Oh, OK. Almost correct. :-) ....I'm down here in Perth.
Keep warm!!
George Martin himself would be proud!
This combines a few favorite things, the Beatles, a guy with a fabulous voice, and breaking things down in an easy to follow manner that fascinates me no end. I've loved the Beatles always but you demonstrate the talent they had that I didn't even realize, and your own awesome talent.
Congratulations Galeazzo, you have just recorded your first number one
:))
Awesome work. So often I watch these and realize that Paul and John's vocal lines are put together so well that I had the melody wrong the whole time. What the main chorus line was my head is actually a blend of John and Paul.
You are brilliant!
Jonny Rock of The GoodFellas
Jon Sullivan Thank Jon!
Italians tend to do it better :). Even explaining the Beatles .
Dude...Galeazzo, how "do" you get these harmonies? Sometimes I can close my eyes, and it "is" the Beatles. On this song, on "please please me" is a prime example. Who are you?
Why aren't you monetising your amazing videos?
Marmaduke Winterbotham google paid him for posting video in UA-cam
"Please Please Me"
Last night I said these words to my girl
I know you never even try, girl
C'mon (C'mon), c'mon (C'mon), c'mon (C'mon), c'mon (C'mon)
Please please me, whoa yeah, like I please you
You don't need me to show the way, love
Why do I always have to say "love"
C'mon (C'mon), c'mon (C'mon), c'mon (C'mon), c'mon (C'mon)
Please please me, whoa yeah, like I please you
I don't wanna sound complaining
But you know there's always rain in my heart (In my heart)
I do all the pleasing with you, it's so hard to reason
With you, whoah yeah, why do you make me blue
Last night I said these words to my girl
I know you never even try, girl
C'mon (C'mon), c'mon (C'mon), c'mon (C'mon), c'mon (C'mon)
Please please me, whoa yeah, like I please you
(Me) Whoa yeah, like I please you

A great Beatles vocal exponent on all their material chosen-Well done!!
I realize from watching this video that I've been singing John's part incorrectly for some time. Thank you, Galeazzo, for this tutorial.
(9 years on) - I doubt it.
I don’t think he got John’s part right.
Veramente fantastico. :D ottimo lavoro
+angel terrazas Italian, i guess.
That's amazing! I've learned a lot with you.
Thank for all the hard work you put into your videos. Your detailed analysis of each part of the song is truly amazing.
gracias!!!!!!!!!
Amazing and enhances my love of the Beatles music ( even though I didn’t think that was possible!). I have an App- MiniStudio XL and put a karaoke track on and attempt your harmonies. John parts are passable but the Paul parts start off passable and usually ends up falsetto! I don’t think I would have ‘passed the audition’! I can sing Yesterday and Blackbird, but the harmonies... Keep up the good work.
I find it interesting how you channel each Beatle's body language when you sing their parts. You bounce up and down to the beat rigidly like John, head forward and mouth pushed out somewhat aggressively. Paul, you move your head to side and bat your eyes and look extremely engaged with everything around you. George, you have eyes somewhat unfocused on everything that is not what you're doing (the harmony).
curious :)
Fantastic as always... I'm sure you get tired of being told how awesome these are, but it can't be helped -- they're just that awesome. :D
Oh, and I loved the discussion at the beginning with the examples! Great new format!
Do you use the Rock Band mogg files to isolate the vocals and breakdown the parts? I only recently discovered these and they're incredibly helpful.
I really appreciate your love and appreciation! :))
This is a great demonstration of the vocal brilliance of the Beatles. There is a reason that Wings could never approach the vocal heights of the Beatles and it is simply because John and George were not in the band.
hohaia rangi Wings harmonies were totally different, but Denny Laine and, especially, Linda McCartney did a great job!
Excellent breakdown! Those Lennon/McCartney harmonies were the secret ingredient that made the Beatles the Beatles.
Stunning detail and accuracy. Love your work man. You inspire a lot of people!
¡Me encantan tus videos! Me gustaría escucharte en la canción Baby it's you... Saludos cordiales desde México =D
Hi,
Upto me this is excellent lesson. Enjoyed it very much. Thank you.
Best regards,
Dedstar
Another fantastic posting Galeazzo! Thank you for sharing your joy with the world. Steve
Grazie!
I always follow your tutorial from Argentina.this is just one of the best and more detailed explained! congrats !
On some versions, the stereo mix I’ve been told, John got the third verse wrong. When my band performed this song in the seventies we included the mistake, “Why do you never even try girl” but we never told anyone, until now anyway. I have seen videos of McCartney and his band, and I believe I have heard them do the same.
That's interesting. It's true that lyrical flub you're referring to was on the stereo mix. On the mono mix (which you should hear if you haven't already) the lyric is sung correctly.
Great job breaking down the harmonies that the Beatles use... what amazing instincts they had.
Besides that soul-aching tenor range, how are you generating that fluttery vibrato? I'm high on it.
Again, we see how deceptively brilliant the Beatles were, even in their early 20's. I find it very interesting and enlightening that Galeazzo points out how Paul had an incredible talent to compliment John's vocals. I listened many many times to Please Please me, but I could never get the third harmony right.
Bell Shim Paul amazes me every and every time. The day the world will get the real hugeness and impact Paul McCartney had on all of our lifes is far beyond to come.
Could you perform "Sexy Sadie?"..... especially the piano intro. You're work is fantastic, sir! 🎹
Grazie in anticipo. A presto.
Permesso accordato! Ma scrivi Galeazzo non Gaetano mi racc ;)
You've done great work with your vocal demonstrations Mr. Frudua. I couldn't help but notice that your demonstration seems to be based on the stereo mix of this song. Are you aware of the vocal differences between the mono and stereo mixes of "Please Please Me?"
Always highly admired Paul's vocals on this song, has a very interesting rhythm in the way he sings the verse
You know your shit.thanks for the lesson
john strong ;)
felicitaciones y saludos!!
very knowledgable and very professional. As a British musican and singer i salute you my friend ,well done.
Oh so NICE to see you again my friend. You mention the facility of Paul singing harmonies and keep his part dynamic adapting the harmonies on the spot) to John's quirky ,and sometimes massive string of surprises when they played live. That is why I LOVE Paul keeping the mother hen role and anything that got derailed , and nod to Ringo to recover the track SMASH on track.
Loved the new format! But I think the vocals should be a little louder or the backing track a little softer...
AMAZING ! You have a good ear for harmony
George Martin has to be credited a lot on this song. They had played it much slower and Martin said it needed to be sped up a lot.
With all of the wonderful videos that you worked so hard on, have you ever been contacted by Paul McCartney?
No Sir! I hope he enjoys anyway ;)
The Beatles Vocal Harmony ...but surely George and John are watching you ;-) ciao!
Thank you!
INCREDIBLE. NOT just them but you are as well.
Thank you so much. You've been a big help!
Hi,

thank you for taking the time and breaking the vocals down for us, if is a great help.!!!!!!!!!!!!
C'mon everyone, donate. I did and it takes seconds and set up very easy to pay. Once you remember your passwords!
Mr. Frudua, You are very experienced in singing and vocals. I am amazed of your analysis of contemporary music. Have you insights into Medieval music? I sense your background is classical. Thank you
Don’t you just love the people who call the Beatles’ music “simple”?
“Genius” is undeniably 1000x more appropriate.
I'm in a Paul McCartney tribute band and we have done a handful of shows, and will be doing some over the week end.. One of my guitar players, (who plays John in a Beatles tribute)
Referred me to your videos.. I'm so glad he found your UA-cam page. You are an asset to any musician covering Beatles or Beatles solo songs. Sei Superbo !! Forza ltalia !! Bravo ;)
Hey galeazzo, i just wanted to tell you that watching your videos made me love much more the Beatles than i used to before. Thank you very much, you are making a wonderful work
That's my purpose
OMG;)))) AWESOME!!!!!

Wow! You are excellent! Would you please turn your talents to deciphering the harmony that John David Souther does on Linda Ronstadt's "Prisoner In Disguise". The melody and harmony here weave together so beautifully that I am unable to figure out the harmony. Your superb talent would be appreciated here. This is my favorite of all two-part harmony songs. Thank you!
I can’t sing that high cause I have a deep voice 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
I think your vocal video are great and explanatory... I really enjoy that You make Ne dissect the harmonaires... Keep up the GREAT work....
Outstanding tutorial!
Hey Galleazo I think there's a mistake I'm not sure with the George part of when he sings " Like I please you " I just think George sings it differently slight .
But the rest is top notch !!
So useful and pleasant! Thanks a lot, Gale!
Thank Lì!
I'm not a singer, but I'm a huge Beatles fan. You've helped me unlock some of their secrets. Thanks!
Thanks for those excelent tutorials!
Marcelo Kraiser :)
You have given us something to make us smile everyday through this horrible pandemic! Keep the Beatle’s music alive! 🎶 Thank you so very much! 💜
Great job! What's amazing about this song is it was only their 2nd outing on record, following up Love Me Do, and yet it in my mind it already contains every element that was soon to make tunes like She Loves You and I Wanna Hold Your Hand big hits- the energy, excitement, vocal harmonies, catchy guitar lick and the trick of all the voices and instruments cutting out completely for a split second before kicking back in- in this case right at the end of the verses, just before George's guitar figure leads into the chorus- later on you can hear the same trick in She Loves You, All My Loving, Can't Buy Me Love etc. This is a WAY under-rated song in the Beatles catalogue!
Do you have the official instrumental version of Please Please me??
It is so entertaining and impressive to hear you nail these harmonies. Fantastic!
GALEAZZO: I WROTE THIS MANY TIMES BEFORE, "YOU THE GREAT YOUNG MASTER OF BEATLES MUSIC" EXCELLENT WORK YOU´RE SHOWING YOUR ART & TALENT TO THE WORLD. GREETINGS FROM MEXICO CITY 4,24,2014
Thanks to you and ALL those who kindly positively commented!
Galeazzo, your tutorials are all wonderful, and this is one of the best.
But sometimes my ears hear something that perhaps you do not (or do not think it is noteworthy), most often in terms of LYRICS or lyric MISTAKES that, if one is trying to recreate the record as accurately as possible, should probably try and incorporate the nuance.
In the case of “Please Please Me” this occurs (almost) every time during the ends of the choruses when one Beatle sings, “…LIKE I please you” while the other (not sure which) sings, “…AS I please you”
Over the years one gets accustomed to hearing both words and, when we don’t, it sounds “wrong”.
This same kind of thing happens in “Please Mr. Postman” when John sings “…SUCH a long time…” while Paul sings, “…A LONG LONG time…”
On your recording, you sing an amalgam of the two, “…A SUCH long time…”, which we would never say in English. 😉
FYI.
Alas, many thanks again for the wonderful arrangement and vocal technique lessons. 🙏
HELLO! upload thank you for your kindness🍀🍀🍀🍀🕊🕊🕊🕊🎵🎵🎵🎵🌹🌹🌹🌹❣️❣️❣️❣️
First of all my friend, you could read the phone book to me all day. I really love your Beatles "how to" vids. Thanks from an old guy here in the US; I grew up on the "early" Beatles and these songs. Carry on smartly.

Amazing as always!
This time the bridge is here.
Yeah ;)
It helps me and please me! Thank you!
:)
I´d like to hear you with two songs more I´ll get you andThank you girl and how much is that?
steve jump - he was not particularly impressed with their SONG WRITING (George Martin) He was always impressed from day one, with their singing.
Love the format -
I am still amazed an their innate knwledge of "vowel chewing" and Paul'a gwenious to find ONE note where he could falsetto an impecable signature.
"It is also funny, that when George Martin started to like the song and politely asked to change the "tempo" they all asked .."What's that?" Marting answered .. play it faster...and Martin played the whole thing on HIS preffered tempo. The closing words are historic.
"Well lads you just recorded your first # 1"
You are VERY good. The tutorials are very helpful. Glad to see another Beatles fan doing something good. I can not contribute at this time because I am on a 'fixed' income(S.S.D.). I used to sing well but smoking and being 62 has cut my range. I did have one book( a paperback) that talked about how the Beatles did things like hooks, etc, it is being held by a person who owns a music store near me in North Carolina where I have some records on consignment.Would you happen to know of the name or any such book? Best to you and ...."I'll Be Back"......
Your video tutorials are fantastic. I've been using them to practice my own cover versions of some Beatles songs. They've been invaluable. Keep up the great work!
bummer.. I should have listened to this before I did my vid today.. I have a few harmonies wrong :( oh well
Your tutorials always give me a new appreciation for the Beatles. John's vocal here gets very tricky at times, hitting falsetto highs, then dropping into the alto part. People who only know the Beatles music casually assume that Paul always took the high parts but John sometimes took the highest notes. He had a great range.
I will . You are amazing !!!!!!! Thank U .. I would love to have u assign harmonies to some songs my band sings. Don’t stop ., I can’t thank you enough thank you thank you thank you you are really helping my ear training as well
Hi Mr. Frudua. In the refrain (1st) in John's vocal can you clarify me the first note? You do a vibrato on B, or a small note on G# or A before singing the B?
Grazie ancora e .... keep punching!! :)
You are amazing! I would be amazed if you did not have a Beatles cover band in your past or present.
Galeazzo....I'd give up my front teeth to have your wide range tenor voice! I'm stuck in baritone now. 😣
Me gustaría nos diera a conocer algunos trabajos de “The Beach Boys”, sería muy interesante, muchas gracias y felicidades por tan profesional análisis de las voces de The Beatles

HEY - you are my Beatles guru...but the CPA in me wants to know why my $50 donation ends up being credited to Deanna Visani. Just want to make sure it goes to you.
Yes it will thank you!
Im truly surprised how complicated is to repñroduce a beatles song. its amazing, how many secrets are hidden.
