I’d like to know if it’s possible to create a widget and a shortcut for an app that haven’t provided them (that I obviously didn’t develop). I’d also like to know if it’s possible to create an automation to change wallpaper and icons when switching between light and dark mode. I get migraines and can be light sensitive, but it’s also nice to be able to see my screen in full bright sunlight 🤷🏻♀️ if it’s not something you’re interested in but there’s anyone you can recommend it would be much appreciated 💐 please and thank you

Anyway, im not really sure how u have never came across a video telling u how to make ur phone look good, but ur background will never affect ur productivity, so yea. Not sure what Im trying to say here tho. Just im suprised u havent came across a video like that

I mean I watch all kind of hacks like less known features and productivity hacks and productivity apps and studying apps and developer options.. And unless we count someone advertising customizable phone cases I have really never got advice on "how to make your phone prettier". And I spend waaaay too much time on youtube so I am shocked that I missed it

I have found that for me, on any given phone, the off switch or flight mode is by far the best productivity feature. For some reasons I can work for hours on my PC without ever drifting off into web browsing but as soon as I have my phone available, I'll find myself drawn to UA-cam and other apps.

This is awesome!! Shortcuts has been built in to iOS since iOS 12 but it’s great that we can put the widgets on the Home Screen, I have a ton of them! I even made my own video about making a shortcut that runs my whole music practice routine; shortcuts can be a powerful productivity tool with some imagination!!

By the way, I just found out that for switching to the last app, you dont habe to swipe up-right-down, you can just swipe right on the homebar. also, you can just swipe left then to get to that last app. like this you can switch WAY faster

I installed Grammarly App on my phone, and it helps a lot. Spanish is my first language. 😉
Lymari Santiago I have grammarly as a browser add-on on my computer. Does it work on your phone the same as on the computer? Do you have to copy and paste the text and then check the corrections or does it correct you while you are typing automatically?

Fransiska Ha I download it to my iPhone. I don't know if they have an Android version. It's added to the keyboard and checks the correction as you write. No, I don't have to copy-paste the text.
how do I stop the same clip board from changing my URL; did spotify copy the url paste but it change" notion shorcut" to spotify im confused. please let me know thanks for sharing
Is there a way using a web url that it shows the first glyph? It would actually be awesome to be able to upload our own glyph.

The shortcuts app is awesome once you get into it - I have been playing around for a while and have setup a few menus like you have to get to actions quickly. I also setup auto timers when I open the apps I shouldn’t spend to long on (Instagram, UA-cam etc.) to reminder me to stop scrolling on them!
I’m surprised Apple haven’t published some more in-depth tutorials on the shortcuts app - it’s such a powerful tool and might win over some Android users who feel that iPhone is too restrictive for their needs.
Are those timers reset on every app launch? On Android there's the "digital wellbeing" function that lets you set timers that reset each day and I always thought iOS didn't have a build-in equivalent.
@@Kimahrey there is a measure of how much of an app you use, but I think you have to use shortcuts (or another 3rd party app) to have alarms and the such to stop you after a certain period of time
Aye, that Blues Driver though. Sick pedal. I use it as my main dirt through a Vox M50 clean and a 2x12 cab my buddy made for me.
I'm new to the channel but very curious about productivity. What is the need for the voice memo instant record? Are you just recording thoughts and then do you have a step in your workflow where you review them? Why not just use your note-taking app? Curious about this workflow element

Bonus tip: You can stack widgets. So I have 3 or 4 of these 4xShortcut widgets all stacked in one spot, and I just slide between them. Just make the individual Shortcut widgets, then while in home screen edit mode, drag one over the top of another and hold for a second then release.

I've got one big problem with a method with linking to different notion notes - when I do so, Notion opens this note but in a different type of view where I can't edit this note properly (for example - I haven't got option to add new record to database or sort it).

Some guitar resources I've found helpful: Samurai Guitarist's music theory courses (and Andrew Huang's 30-minute music theory intro here on UA-cam), Songsterr for tabs you can play along with, and Justin Guitar for scale diagrams. That said, I don't spend a ton of time with any resources for guitar - I just play a lot! Almost everything I do is improvised. I'd probably get better if I sat down and learned songs, but every time I play, I just want to make things up. Sometimes I'll make up exercises that become patterns I'll use in my playing; for instance, picking a scale and playing 1-3-2-4-3-5-4-6-5-7-6-8 (or that backwards).

Shortcuts is amazing:
For example: When i set an alarm it logs my bed time in a notes folder automatically in the background, when i turn off the alarm as well. ( i can track when i sleep and when i get up.)
I use shortcuts a lot (android) but the fact that u can have multiple shorcuts for one "icon" is pretty cool.
We have (at least me on the "edge panel") some "actions" shortcuts like recording etc though, but not so many options.
I have to look for some apps like "Shorcuts" on the Play Store 🤣
